Fei Yan Niao paid for Cheng Yi’s plastic surgery to remove Cheng Yi’s scar.

Zheng Jia Ju’s parents were scared to see Cheng Yi alive, because Zhen Jia Ju told them Cheng Yi died in an accident. Zheng Jia Ju explained to her parents Cheng Yi’s friend rescued him and he had amnesia.

Zheng Jia Ju took Cheng Yi shopping to buy clothes.

Zheng Jia Ju worked at her shop and Cheng Yi worked as her bodyguard. Zheng Jia Ju’s shop attracted more customers because of Cheng Yi’s model looks. Cheng Yi couldn’t remember he’s rich from contract killings. Zheng Jia Ju didn’t tell him, he didn’t need to be her bodyguard to earn a living because she didn’t want him to leave her.

Gu Jiao Wu was surprised to hear the conviction in Qiao Tan Yuan’s voice. He didn’t understand Qiao Tan Yuan and he didn’t know what marriage meant.

Gu Jiao Wu didn’t want to leave, but he knew if he stayed then he wouldn’t get the result he wanted.

Gu Jiao Wu nodded, stood and walked to the door. At the door he turned around and looked at Qiao Tan Yuan.

‘I don’t know what a marriage mean,’ Gu Jiao Wu said. ‘But I know what it means to a young child to live with both their father and mother. I believe you know what I said is true.’

Qiao Tan Yuan laid on the bed after Gu Jiao Wu left. She felt like all her organs were ripped out of her body. She was tired of fighting with Gu Jiao Wu.

Qiao Tan Yuan admitted she waited a long time for Gu Jiao Wu to ask her to be with him. What else was she waiting for? Was she waiting to receive Gu Jiao Wu’s love and gentleness? Why couldn’t she make her heart stop waiting vainly? It didn’t matter how long she waited, she would never receive Gu Jiao Wu’s love and gentleness. Gu Jiao Wu always knew what to say to make her broken heart break a little more. In Gu Jiao Wu’s heart, she was only Xiao Bao’s mother. Gu Jiao Wu would never see her and desire her as a woman.
