Yordana could not believe what she was seeing. She was not a flower in a garden like the Fourth Azure Prince and had faced great tribulations throughout her young life, more than once fighting people who sought her life.

However, none of them were able to respond with that type of eyes when drowning inside her Illusion Realm.

In all fairness to Yordana and her Cultivation Technique, the power of her Illusion Realm was nothing short of amazing, and it had the ability to affect even seasoned killers with the willpower of Wave Kings.

Unfortunately for her, Cain's mind had undergone an evolution in terms of endurance not too long ago as he faced nightmarish states that were hundreds of times more horrible and crippling than these dark waters.

Cain did not simply keep composure as the red light in his eyes grew more and more powerful, and the next second, his body began to tremble as red flames emerged from him.

Yordana's eyes widened as she saw that, and panic appeared on her face. By looking at their expression, one would never guess that the master of this realm was the young woman and not the drowning man.

Once your consciousness was trapped inside an Illusion Realm, it did not really mean instant defeat. If you managed to regain control over your physical manifestation inside the realm, as Cain did, you could use your willpower to affect the surroundings.

Yordana's eyes were full of awe and terror as she saw her Illusion Realm crumbling around her, and it did not take long for her own flesh to feel like it was burning. Without warning, the world trembled for a second before both of them found themselves in the middle of the hall.

Cain's eyes adjusted to the light as he shook his head, trying to regain his focus, and saw the Fourth Imperial Prince beside him, with a hand behind his back. That was not really important since, in front of him, the Second Imperial Prince was helping Yordana, kneeling on the ground, clean the blood from her eyes.

Surprise appeared in Cain's eyes, but he soon understood what was happening. While a medium could be used to form the Illusion Realm, such as Yordana's bracelet, her mind still kept the illusion in place.

That put a lot of stress on her mind, but the fact that Cain was suffocating her in the real world while at the same time burning her physical projection inside the Illusion Realm was a heavy blow.

The Second Princess and the Fourth Imperial Prince must have intervened to quietly break the Illusion Realm, or Yordana would have suffered severe damage if it just shattered.

Cain felt the eyes of the Second Princess focusing on him as she helped Yordana, but he just glanced back at the woman. It was not his fault that things had escalated to this point since Yordana's lack of awareness put her in danger.

"I must admit that you are indeed worthy of being a new legend, Colonel Laurifer."

Before things could escalate, Yordana spoke to Cain while softly nodding. She knew of the danger of her technique but was too confident.

Since the one that ended up all bloodied said it was fine, no one else uttered a word about it, but all eyes still focused on Cain as he returned to his seat. Not only did he have a body capable of fighting Early Wave King without using Wave Burst, but his mind was so strong that he could overcome an enemy's Illusion Realm.

The Third Imperial Prince had remained quiet after his fiasco that led to Desmond moving to the Fourth Imperial Prince's side, but he could not stand as people kept talking about Cain and sought to change the subject.

"By the way, older sister, I heard that the man by your side left is none other than Mister White."

Upon hearing the words of the Third Imperial Prince, people in the hall turned to a middle-aged man by the side of the Second Imperial Princess. He was an Early Wave King, and his aura was not impressive, which was why he had not drawn attention before, but all the presents recognized the White name.

White was a renowned family name in the Genetic Coder a.s.sociation and the one that the Third Prince referred to as Mister White was the grandson of the current a.s.sociation Head. Marlon knew how to maintain composure as someone born into a long line of Genetic Coders. Despite his talent, his eyes had no arrogance since his elders always taught him that complacency was the key to failure.

The Second Princess showed a calm smile as she softly nodded.

"Mister White doesn't like the spotlight, so I did not introduce him. Nevertheless, I am delighted to have such a distinguished Saint Genetic Coder among my escort and one whose talent is clearly at the empire's zenith."

The Third Imperial Prince smiled as the subject began to change, but his smile faded quickly as Mister White's words immediately soured his mood.

"I thank the Young Lady for her compliments, but I am far from being a great genius in Silver City, and even in this hall, I do not dare to call myself the one with the highest talent in Genetic Coding."

People were surprised by those words, and as they followed Marlon's eyes, they were shocked to see that he was focusing on Cain. They couldn't believe that someone so young, who clearly focused his mind on his martial foundation, could also be a great Genetic Coder.

The Fourth Prince remained silent but couldn't help but internally sigh.
