Out of fear, she stood up immediately and Ezekiel did the same. Caleb grabbed Samantha by the wrist and pulled her to his side, but Ezekiel grabbed her on her other arm.

"Excuse me Sir, but don't you think you're being too impolite here? Can't you see that we're together?" Ezekiel questioned Caleb.

"Excuse me too, but this is none of your business," said Caleb then pulled Samantha but Ezekiel's grip on her was tight.

"Back off bro!" Caleb moved forward and face Ezekiel.

"You back off! You can't just do what you want, what even is your relationship with her huh?"

Both men were of the same height, both sending death glares to each other. They were pulling her back and forth.

"Can you both stop? You're hurting me!" complained Samantha who was stuck between this men.

Caleb and Ezekiel immediately let go of her wrist, "I'm sorry," both of them said at the same time.

Ezekiel grabbed Samantha's wrist, "Does it hurt?" he asked her rubbing the red marks on her wrist, he looked at her worried.

"Don't touch her," Caleb said in gritted teeth. Taking advantage, Caleb immediately pulled Samantha then dragged her out of the place.

Samantha can't help it but tremble a little. Caleb really looked scary right now, he looked like he wants to murder someone.

"Can you please let go of me? My wrist hurts!" shouted Samantha but Caleb only continue to drag her.

He brought her to the school infirmary.

Upon reaching the infirmary, Samantha bravely pulled her wrist from Caleb's grip, "What the h.e.l.l is your problem Caleb?!" she shouted at him.

"You! I never knew you were this stupid! Why did you let that man hug you huh!?" Caleb shouted in frustration.

"He was only thanking me for giving him food! What's so wrong with it? And the h.e.l.l do you care!?"

Caleb pushed her to the wall and slammed his hands on both sides of her head, "I'm jealous okay! I don't like other men touching you," he told her while looking straight to her eyes.

"But I'm not your property Caleb! We don't have anything betwee--"

He kissed her.

"Say that again," he said.

Samantha pushed Caleb with all her might and slapped him on the face.

"You think I'm a toy you can play huh Caleb!?" Samantha felt angry right now.

"You think I'm playing with you?! Does it look like this is a game?"

"What other explanation do you have for this then?! Why are you doing this to me! Making me a Reverix Wanted then treating me like this? Is your brain corrupted?"

"It's because I like you! Haven't I told you that already?" he shouted at her, frustrated.

"Oh yeah right! As if I'll believe you!" she said in a mocking tone, "Let me tell you then, I won't ever fall for you!"

Caleb chuckled, "Be careful dear, eating your own words doesn't taste good," he smiled at her.

"Mark my words!" she shouted at him then left him standing in front of the infirmary.

What a nuisance!

Samantha went back to their cla.s.sroom with heavy steps. She was really annoyed at Caleb. Was he that serious in making me fall for him? Ha! No freaking way!

"There you are, I've been looking all over for you," Ezekiel approached her, holding two ice packs on his hand.

"Sorry I got held up," she told him, "Why are you looking for me?" she asked him.

"I got this for you. I kind of gripped your wrist too tight earlier," he said while holding up the ice packs on his hand. "Sit down," he told her and she obediently sat down.

Ezekiel placed the ice packs on both her wrists. Samantha almost forgot the pain on her hands, "Thank you," she told him, embarra.s.sed.

"It's nothing, it's my fault.." he paused, then continued, "Can I ask you something?" he asked her while looking straight to her eyes.

"Uhm yeah, sure," she answered him.

"I kind of noticed everybody's avoiding you, is there something up?"

She raised her brows upon hearing his question. Oh yeah! She was still a wanted.

"I'm kind of in a situation where n.o.body's allowed to talk to me," she answered him.

"Why so? I think you're a really nice person,"

"I really don't know how to explain my situation," she sighed.

"It's okay, uhm one last question,"

"Shoot,"

"The guy earlier.. Is he your.. ehem.. boyfriend?"

"What?! Oh no! He's certainly not," she suddenly stood up.

"But why did he act like that earlier?" he asked her innocently.

"He's just a jerk who has nothing better to do with his life," she growled.

"Oh okay haha, that's a relief then," Ezekiel smiled at her.

The two of them continued to chat inside the room until their professor arrived did they only stop talking.

"I have a news for everyone, as you all know, the Callixus Annual Ball is near and that means Ms. and Mr. Callixus is also around the corner," said the professor which made the whole cla.s.s noisy.

They were all excited about it. It was an event that most students look forward the most because they get to wear beautiful gowns and suits.

Ms. and Mr. Callixus Academy was held annually by the school. Each section has to pick their representatives who will undergo through an elimination round. A magic 5 will be chosen from them who will continue to the final round of the pageant.

The winners of the pageant will be the opening act for the Callixus Annual Ball. The Ms. and Mr. will have to dance in the beginning of the ball.

"The two people seated at the back," the teacher pointed.

Samantha and Ezekiel looked at each other questioningly.

"Both of you will be the representative of the cla.s.s. Attend the meeting after cla.s.s," said the teacher.

Samantha's mouth fell open.

"But Ma'am I didn't agree to it," Samantha stood up and protested.

"200 points directly to your performance task, anymore questions?" her professor raised her brows.

"No Ma'am!" she zipped her mouth and sat back down.

200 points isn't a joke after all.

Then everybody on the room suddenly looked worried, she was a wanted, what do we do now?

But most girls on the room looked at her with envy. She's partnered with the most handsome guy in cla.s.s!

There's a legend in Callixus that whoever wins the pageant, they were bound to be together.
