Ever since the day he met her on the rooftop, he glued himself to her any chance he got at school. At first, it was just for his own entertainment. Especially when she makes the annoyed face that she doesn't like him. Which was odd because all the girls wanted a chance to be near him.

While she wished herself to go unnoticeable by him and everyone. Someone like Yun Anong who came from a middle-cla.s.s background would most likely try to befriend anyone from Winterville high school. Everyone who attends the school is either wealthy or from a prominent family. She was an odd one.

Eventually, she started to accept him by letting him hang out around her. Instead of being entertained by her annoyed face, he became captivated when he saw her smile. His reason for her began to change from entertainment to needing a friend like her. Compared to someone who will suck up to him for benefits.

He wasn't sure when he had first developed feelings for her. Maybe it was when they had met each other on the rooftop. He was never one to believe in love at first sight until he met her. Yun Anong was his first love and his only love for the past seven years.

Chen Jian rested his head against his steering wheel. Yun Anong appearance had changed. From those pinchable cheeks to a slim face, curvey waist and a full-size chest.

Chen Jian gripped the steering wheel and opened his eyes. It was filled with the same danger that he had emitted earlier. Someone had touched her, he didn't mean the slap but the dark mark by her collar.

Before she had changed out of her shirt, he did see a purple mark on her collar. He had forgotten about it until she was laying on the bed when he had pushed her down.

Chen Jian was waiting for the right moment to ask her, but he couldn't bring himself to pressure her too much, or she might drift further apart from him. Then she mentioned she'll treat him out next time. He decided to let it go since he had another chance to meet up with her again.

Knowing Yun Anong, if she does not want you to know something or find her. You will never know it or find her. Oddly, he did try to find her for the last seven years, only to come up with nothing.

By the time I returned back to my house, it was already getting dark. Yes, I returned back to my house and not my small rundown apartment. I was about to open the door, but it was swung open before I had a chance to touch the doork.n.o.b.

"I had to refrain myself from starting the hot pot without you!" shouted the person who opened the door.

The person had on black sweatpants, a plain black t-shirt, and his hair held back by one of my headbands. A flowery headband too, out of all the headband I have available. Yet, it didn't destroy his good look, but he looked nothing like his selfies on his Phoria account.

More like a b.u.m in my opinion since his fine looks do not charm me. Anyway, it'd be weird if I were attracted to him. Don't get me wrong though, any women out there will be head over heel seeing him like this or his selfies on Phoria.

Phoria is a website and mobile app that you can post your pictures or your thoughts. Your followers can like your post, comment and share it. It just so happen that the person standing in front of me is one of the most followed on it.

"Tang Liang, aren't you afraid your pictures will be taken by paparazzi?" I pushed him out of my way so I can get inside my own house.

It reminded me of that female employee at Mu Yi's company who kept going on and on about how well dressed her "husband" was and etc. If only his fans can see him like this.

"No one knows I live here. Wait, that's not important." Tang Liang blocked me from walking any further, "What in the world happened to you?"

"M-miss!" Amelia faced filled with horror when she saw my face and bandaged knees.

In a flash, she was standing in front of me and gave me a full examination from head to toe. She almost shoved Tang Liang who was standing in the way into the wall. I even heard him breathed out in relief and mutter, "That was a close one..."

"Who did this to you?" Amelia cried out with worried eyes, not bothering to check on Tang Liang.

"You're a mess!" Tang Liang pointed out the obvious, though his eyes were showing he was worried.

"Thanks! I so did not notice that this whole time," I sarcastically replied back. If he thinks I look horrible now, imagine me earlier with my torn shirt and b.l.o.o.d.y jeans.

I made sure to take a seat before I begin telling them a short story of what happened. Except I left out a lot of "details" of what happened between Mu Yi and me in his office bedroom. I can't tell them about that!

"How dare she!" Tang Liang fumed, hitting the wall that he almost got slammed into, "I will avenge you!"

"Are you cursing me to die? You make it sound like I died, so it's your place to 'avenge' me."

I know he meant well, so I a.s.sured Tang Liang I got everything under control. Of course, I did mention I got her back twice and will get her thrice. Right now, I am patiently waiting to hear back.
