The Kings 18 You've Been Warned

The second day of filming came to an end without any issue from Shu Meiying. There were only three more days left to wrap up the shoot. On the third day, all the employees from New Image were tensed and extra careful with everything they did. Turns out New Image CEO a.s.sistant Hui Yin was visiting, she wanted to check up on how everything was going. This made Yin Bo more of a bit-, ahem, "stricter" than usual.

Hui Yin is a mere a.s.sistant of New Image CEO, but her position is pretty high compared to other a.s.sistants. When New Image CEO couldn't attend the meetings for the perfume collaboration, she was given permission to make all the decisions on behalf of the CEO.

So far, no one knows how the CEO looks like. There is no picture of them either. Surprisingly, the fashion company was very successful even though those two never showed their faces in public or meetings. Very few claims to have seen the CEO but it was never confirmed if it was true.

The moment Hui Yin stepped into the room, everyone stopped what they were doing. She greeted everyone with her at work smile. While walking up to the director, Hui Yin and I made eye contact for a brief second. She broke eye contact immediately, and proceed to make her way towards the director.

The remainder of the time, Hui Yin spoke with the director on how it's been going and if there were any problems. They continued discussing the next scene. Meanwhile, all the crews took a break until shooting resume. It didn't take long before it wasn't just New Image employees being on their toes. Mu's employees became more cautious than New Image employees when their CEO had come down for a visit too.

Shu Meiying's eyes lit up when she saw her future husband. It was my first time seeing her actually getting up from her seat willing. She hugged Mu Yi's right arm with her breast rubbing against it, and in a coquettish voice she said, "Yi, are you here to see me?"

"Mm." Mu Yi answered, without taking a glance at her. At the corner of his eyes, he was waiting to see if Anong will give him any reactions. Would she be jealous? Would she be angry that another woman is touching him?

All the employees from both companies confirmed in their heart that Shu Meiying was Mu Yi's woman. He didn't avoid her touch when she grabbed his arm. When she asked him if he was here to visit her, he replied yes too. Now they all had to make sure to be careful about how they act around her. She might be their Mrs. Mu soon.

"h.e.l.lo CEO Mu," Hui Yin greeted Mu Yi, extending out her left arm being as his other arm was occupied.

"Same to you," Mu Yi returned the gesture. "It'll be great if one day I could meet the founder of New Image."

Hui Yin nodded, "I apologize, our CEO has been busy lately. I will relay your message back to our CEO though."

Hui Yin was pretty good with her words, not letting Mu Yi know if our CEO was a woman or a man. No wonder she was chosen out of the one hundred candidates who applied. After they finished having their small talk, Hui Yin excused herself as she was only here for a quick checkup.

The whole time Shu Meiying did not let go of Mu Yi's arm. I would be lying if I said I wasn't bothered at what was going on between them. At the same time, Mu Yi is not mine to be claimed so who am I to intervene. Instead, I kept myself busy with my phone.

Me: [I heard you're returning soon?]

#3 Nephew: [Yes, I'll be returning tomorrow morning... Finally!]

Me: [I will tell ask Amelia to prepare your room for you.]

#3 Nephew: [Okay. I want some hot pot too!]

Me: [You buy the ingredients then.]

#3 Nephew: [It should be you who does the shopping. I might get trampled on by women if they see me!]

I let out a m.u.f.fled laugh at his last text. I can imagine it happening to him. I made a quick phone call to Amelia with instructions and what to buy at the store.

Mu Yi clenched his fist when Anong ignored him and was smiling at her phone. Who was it that made her smile, that now she's talking on the phone with them. He pulled his arm out of Shu Meiying's clutch. It took her by surprise, she was about to say something, yet no words came out of her mouth when her eyes met his.

Mu Yi leaned over and whispered into Shu Meiying's ear, "Never call me by name again and never touch me again. There is only one person who is allowed to touch me and call my name."

Shu Meiying stood there shocked and was too frightened to make any sound. She had heard that Mu Yi was hard to please, and he was cold towards anyone that approached him. She thought she was special compared to all the women he had ever encountered.

However, at this moment she realized she wasn't, just one of his plaything for the time being. Once he discards you, you better make sure to stay out of his way for life. Mu Yi was the person who brought her to fame, and he can as easily make her lose everything.

Shu Meiying shivered and finally found a little courage to take a few steps back. Although to everyone, it looked like Mu Yi had leaned in to give her a kiss on the cheek.

Mu Yi said in a low voice that only she can hear him, "You've been warned."
