The Kings 19 It's An Emergency!

When Mu Yi was out of site, Shu Meiying glared at Yun Anong and wished her eyes can pierce Yun Anong dead. When she hugged Mu Yi's arm, his eyes were staring at Yun Anong direction the whole time. Was she the woman Mu Yi was referring to? It's all her fault that Mu Yi was treating her this way, Shu Meiying cursed Yun Anong on the inside.

I looked up from my phone to find Shu Meiying looking at me. It wasn't the mocking look that Mu Yi was here for her, but the look of a someone who is about to go crazy. I'm not sure what I did wrong either. I only looked up to find Mu Yi giving Shu Meiying a kiss on the cheek. My heart did break a little witnessing that.

The director resumed the shooting to wrap up the last scene for today. For some reason, Shu Meiying couldn't get into her role to bring out the right feeling. The director held himself back from rebuking her terrible acting skills. If she didn't have Mu Yi backing her up, the director would have requested to have her change out a long time ago. Therefore, he called it for a day since it wasn't getting anywhere.

"Is miss Yun Anong here?"

I didn't answer, the first time wasn't for something good. I'm sure this time it wouldn't be either. Besides, the person who is looking for me is no other than Chu Heng. I backed up into a corner in hoping I'll somehow magically blend in. Unfortunately, Chu Heng had magically eyesights as well, he spotted me instantly.

"Miss Yun Anong, will you please go with me to the CEO office?"

"Can I refuse?"

"Of course not."

"Why?" I asked Chu Heng, I told Mu Yi to not bother me unless it was an emergency. If it weren't for the fact that our family is close, I would have cut off all ties with him.

"It's an emergency," Chu Heng coughed, he made sure to emphasize "emergency" at the end.

Chu Heng wasn't sure why his boss told him to mention it was an emergency. Although right now he felt like it really was an emergency to bring Yun Anong to his boss. The entire way back to the office, his boss carried the aura of death with him. He is starting to believe his boss is not human but a demon.

Everyone was afraid of him after witnessing his boss going off on an accountant for doing his job incorrectly. The numbers were not adding up, which was true. Just that his critic was harsher than other days. When his boss called for him, he was afraid to enter the door to see the demon who was on the other side.

"Go get Anong for me!"

"Boss, I don't think she'll come willingly..." Chu Heng meekly replied back, with Yun Anong's att.i.tude today when they had visited. It was clear she wanted nothing to do with his boss.

"Say it's an emergency. You must mention it's an emergency." Mu Yi huffed, turning his chair around to face the window behind him.

Shu Meiying's nostril flared and her clenched fist tremble with anger. Was it really Yun Anong? It's impossible! She was a n.o.body in New Image. Besides her face, what is so great about her? Plus she is super easy to walk all over, and will not fight back. Is this the type Mu Yi like? The weak and innocent.

I doubted it was really an emergency. On the other hand, Chu Heng was not giving me any opening to show that I can make him go running back. Sigh, I concede in defeat for now.

Mu Yi's office was oddly quieter than usual. It was always quiet, but I could sense this tense vibe in the air. The only sound was the sound of keyboard typing. It suddenly stopped, Mu Yi's fierce eyes met mine. He was mad... Although mad was not the right word to describe his expression.

"Took you long enough."

"CEO Mu, I am a very busy person. Please say what you need to say." I replied back impatiently, tapping my right foot on the floor.

Mu Yi slammed his desk with his hand and stood up. That scared the s.h.i.t out of me. Wow, the aura of a CEO! Reminds me of a certain someone.

"Anong," Mu Yi softly called out, approaching me who was standing by the door. I was smart enough this time to be near the door.

"C-CEO Mu, calm down. We can always talk things out." I backed up, attempting to open the door behind me, but it was locked!

"You cannot open it without my permission," Mu Yi seized me by the wrist pulling me forward towards him. In his chest, he tightly embraced me.

When Anong told him to never look for her ever again. It made him unhappy, it felt like he had returned back to seven years ago when she used the exact same words on him. He followed through by never looking for her again, but he couldn't do it this time. He was about to go crazy yesterday simply because he hasn't seen her for a day. So he made an excuse that he was there to visit the set. However, he became frustrated when she ignored him this morning.

Mu Yi took Anong by the hand and forcefully pulled her into his office bedroom.

It was a room directly connected to his office. It was used when he does an all-nighter at the office or need to rest. The room had a bed, kitchen, and bathroom. No one was allowed to enter beside the cleaning lady, who does cleaning once a week.
