The Destined Encounter 33 Chapter 33: A Very Important Person

"Yeah welcome home!" Liam showed him a wide smile and his gaze landed on Lance's which was being supported by Sebastian to stand up straight.

Sebastian have to go and fetch his young master from a bar because the later one could no longer go home much more to even stand up. Liam quickly helped Sebastian in a.s.sisting the wasted Lance to their bed. He sat beside his Husband and gently removes strands of his hair that now are slightly growing long. New grown beard are now visible to his Husband's face. Never once he have seen this Husband in this sorry state.

"What happened to him Seb?" The question came out as whisper. Liam can't helped but feel sorry for Lance.

"You happened. That's why he is like this." Sebastian move near him. "Liam he can't accept it. I know I'm not in any position to say this but He loves you that it destroys him the moment you left and can not be found."

Sebastian took a deep breath. "He's trying to get by on his own ways and one of these is drinking. His condition actually improves now, you see he is much in worst state for a whole month and for the second month he thrive to live but miserably fails." Sebastian sat beside Liam. "I know he hurted you by what he had done and all the lies but you still need to hear him before you make your final decision." Sebastian raffled Liam's head.

Liam looked at Sebastian. Tears are starting to form on his eyes. "Yeah that's why I came back. I wanted to know, I wanted to talked to him and I want to fight for him that's if he also wants to fight along with me." Liam looked at his hands that he's playing with. "I can't win a battle that there's just only me fighting. We can't fight together if he's keeping a lot of things from me and also I know that I have a lot of issues and I'm not being true to my own feelings. We need to talked to resolve all this."

"I understand. Can I get you anything?" Liam shook his head. "No I'm ok. Just get me a basin with warm water, a face towel and a change of clothes for Lance. He can't sleep like this."

"Ok I'll be back in a minute." Sebastian was about to leave when he heard Liam say something.

"His schedule for tomorrow. Do you know his schedule?" Sebastian was looking at him with a questioning look.

"I can't stay here for too long but I'll drop by his office tomorrow. I just want to make sure he's there when I go there. I can't afford waiting him in the house when he always comes home drunk. So I'll just go straight to his office." Liam explained.

"I'll asked his secretary if he'll be at the office tomorrow."

"I'll give you my number" Liam said "And please don't tell him I was here. I'll just talk to him tomorrow." Liam asked.

"Ok understand, I'll be downstairs. I'll leave him to you."

Lance was woken by the pounding pain on his head caused by excessive drinking last night. He quickly noticed his change of clothes which made him very nervous but calm down as soon as he noticed that he is in his own room. Their room that quickly put Lance to tears, he quickly wipe his tears away. It is already two months since Liam has been off the radar. There was no lead and he's already loosing hope in finding his wife again.

Lance forced himself to get up, it was already 11 AM. He got a meeting this afternoon after lunch and he can't afford not to attend it. All the directors and executives of the Montero Empire will be there along with their business partners for some of their projects. He knows perfectly well what the meeting will be all about and he doesn't care for one single bit.

He got up and get himself ready. With little sleep that he has and with the hungover that he's feeling he forced himself to go to work. That's how he was since Terrence made that speech. He still feel heavy and low but he has no choice but to live.

Lance left without eating anything. It is not new to him, he got used to not eating much he doesn't have an appet.i.te after all, even sleep wouldn't want to visit him, the only thing that matters to him is having the spirit of alcohol and liquors flowing inside his veins.

He was still at the lobby at the ground floor inside but he could already feel the heavy atmosphere and fear from his employees eyes that went on till he reach his own office. Minutes later his secretary came and inform him about his schedules.

Even though Liam doesn't want to go last night he has too. He received a text message informing him that Dexter was at the hospital.

"Liam I'm ok now. It's just a little fracture on my leg but I'll be fine. I'll be able to walk again please don't mind me. Just go speak to your husband, after mustering up the courage to talk to him you have to go." Convinced Dexter.

"B-but---" Dexter cut him off.

"No buts, just listen to me."

"Yeah listen to him just let me handle this gorgeous right before my eyes." Dexter eyes suddenly filled with anger in it.

"YOU! What are you still doing here?! GET OUT!" Dexter start throwing fruits to the person standing on his hospital room.

"Hey stopped that you don't want to hit my beautiful and handsome face that is made out of perfection."

Liam can't help but laugh from the sight of the two that looks like an old married couple with the way they act towards each other. Liam met the man last night who run over his car to his friend causing the fracture to the Alpha's leg. But the most funny and awkward thing the man just claimed he fell head over heels to the Alpha from the first sight. Lee looked at him at walk towards him, his face became serious.

"Lee, I didn't expect to meet you here." Liam said. It was really a shocked to meet his Husband's friend.

"He has been looking for you, you know? Wasting his life drinking. I didn't know this will be the effect on him." Liam remain silent.

" I don't want to meddle in my friends love affair but I think you should talk to him." Lee suggested.

"That's what I'm planning to do." Liam smiled at him. "Are you really serious with my friend?" Liam asked, he was pertaining to Dexter.

"Yeah, Well I still trying to figure it out but it's the first time I ever felt this way. Never thought that love at first sight is real." The Alpha said in all seriousness then seconds later he looked at Dexter who is quietly just listening to them talked. "Right Dexy honey we will figure it out TOGETHER." Lee said with a playful smile emphasizing the word together.

"Aaaarrggghhh I couldn't stand you! Go figure it out on your own don't include me in your soul searching!" Dexter shout.

"Lee I have to go, can I count on you?" Liam asked and Lee just salute him saying "Yeah Lee Shun reporting for duty at your service Sir. You can count on anytime when it comes to My Dexy honey Sir Yes Sir."

"At your disposal yeah." Dexter mumble which made Liam laugh.

"I'll be leaving you two for a while can I entrust my friend in your care?" Liam asked. The man hold both Liam's hands together. "You can count on me when it comes to my beloved Dexy." Liam took both his hands from Lee.

"Hey little brother don't leave me alone with this mongrel. Can't you see he's a dangerous alpha!" Dexter shouted for Liam to hear. Dexter then looked at Lee and pointed his fingers at the man. "And you! we are both Alphas you know that right?!"

"Yeah so what's of it?" Lee just shrug the question.

"What do you mean what's of it? Pregnancy between two Alphas males are very rare and highly unlikely for their relationship to work that's why they have a high divorce rate specially if both are dominant you know that right?" Dexter asked in frustration. He wants this joke to end as soon as possible.

"Don't worry Dexy honey my dominancy is quite Superior to others I'll make sure to get you pregnant in no time." The Alpha declared which made the other alpha to throw him more apples.

"I'm the top! and I won't be carrying anybody's babies." Dexter said in frustration.

"Dexy honey you are getting way too ahead with our relationship. I was planning in having us one kid but if you want many then that would not be a problem. We can have it arranged, I got a lot of money I can a.s.sure you that I can give you a comfortable life even if we have more than five kids."

Lee sit on his bed just beside him and hold his hand and with at most sincerity said. "So what do you say? should we start? Five children is a long way to go." Dexter could no longer control his anger and just punched the light out of him.

Bea has been asking the lobby receptionist to allow him to go and wait inside Lance's office but the receptionist keep on insisting that the Alpha is in the middle of an important meeting and can't be disturbed. "If he's in the meeting then I'll just stay inside his office and wait for him." Bea's patience is already wearing thin. Person like her should not just be waiting in the lobby's langue. *Don't they know her? She's just the person that is being romantically linked to their boss and soon enough will be the future Mrs. Montero. They should be giving her the respect she deserve.* She said to herself.

"I'm sorry Ma'am I'll asked our head about your concern." Said the new staff.

"No need, go a.s.sist the others I'll take over this." One of the old staff said to their new co-employees.

"h.e.l.lo Ma'am, I over heard your conversation with my colleague but we are sorry to inform you that visitors without any appointments are not allowed to visit nor stay inside the CEO's office specially if the CEO is in the middle of an important meeting unless otherwise he himself has given as an order to let you stay inside his office. If you still insist then maybe you could wait for him till his meeting is finished." The woman professionally said.

Liam witnessed and heard everything. He looked at Bea who is facing her back at him. He went straight to the reception area just beside Bea. It was the new girl who a.s.sisted him. "Is there anything I could do for you Sir?" Politely asked by the girl.

"I'm here to see Lance. There are things I would like to talk and discuss with him." Lance said casually.

"I'm sorry but the CEO is currently in the middle of the meeting. May I asked if do you happen to have any appointments with him for this day?" Asked again by the girl.

Liam was about to answer when the receptionist who is a.s.sisting Bea suddenly said something.

"Liam, You're here." The only thing the girl said that made the other employees in the reception area turned their heads towards him.

"Yeah, I was hoping to see Lance." Liam said which made Bea arced her brow.

"Yeah, yeah. Trina." The woman called to the girl who was a.s.sisting Lance. "Lead him to Mr. Montero's office." The woman instructed.

"What meeting is Lance at right now?" Liam asked.

"With the Directors, executives and some business partners." It was the receptionist head who answered.

"Then I won't wait in Lance office." Liam said and looked at the girl who is a.s.sisting him. "Please take me to the meeting room." The woman just look at her head for permission. She doesn't want to loose her job and taking someone in the middle of the meeting means she probably can loose her job.

"Take him to the meeting room. Don't worry it's Liam so it's ok." The woman has no choice but to comply. She just wonder who is the man that her Superior and co-workers just follows everything that he's asking.

"Wait w-why are you letting him in? I thought Lance was busy. I'm his girlfriend so why are you treating me like this." Liam can hear the woman but chose to ignore her little tantrums. He knows better than to waste his time with her.

"Ma'am as far as we know. Mr. Montero has no known girlfriend." Liam over heard the Receptionist head said.

"So what that won't change the fact that I. WILL. BE. HIS. FUTURE. GIRLFRIEND! Aren't you people watching the news?! Me and Lance are an item!" Liam couldn't hear the rest of her speech as he walked away from them.

The receptionist can noticed how people's eyes are at Liam. People gazing at him are quite in shock but later on did gave their respect to him. *Just who is this guy, why does it seems that he has that kind of influence and respect to the people in the office.* The receptionist who is showing the way thought.

When Liam and the receptionist already reached Lance office they immediately saw Lance secretary who is sitting on her post.

Ms. Kim immidiately noticed Liam and stood up to greet him. "Liam."

"Tasha, how are you?" The secretary smiled at him.

"I'm fine, I am a.s.suming that you are here for Mr. Montero?" Liam smiled back Lance really found a handy and efficient secretary he thought.

"Yeah, I was hoping if I could see him. I think the Directors and the others wouldn't mind if I barge in right?" Lance secretary laughs.

"With how he is right now they will even thank you for it. I hope things will get better." Liam smiled bitterly.

"I hope so too, that's what I came here for." The receptionist is already lost for words. She couldn't get a grasp of the situation.

"Liam come I'll lead you to where he is." Liam is walking by Ms. Kim's side while the receptionist is walking behind them.

Ms. Kim excused herself in the meeting and inform Lance that there's a very important person who wants to see him.

"Is there still no news about him?" The man ask without looking at the person in front of him.

"No Sir, we couldn't find anything. We even checked if he went out of country." Said the private investigator.

"He can't just suddenly vanished on the face of the Earth." The man finally lay down the papers he's been reading and looked at the private investigator. "I want you to find where his family now and I want you to check if he contacted my brother or any of my brother's friends."

"Yes Sir." It hasn't been that long since the man asked for a permission to leave when his father entered his office.

"Still no news?" Asked the old man.

"No dad."

"What did you do Teakyun for your wife to leave like that and left you with just a signed divorced papers?" Teakyun looked at his father.

"It's just a simple married couple fights and misunderstanding, we can sort this out." The old man blows a loud breath.

"Have you reverted to your old ways? Theo that man loves you, he he won't leave just like that because of simple mishaps. If you're just toying with him then just signed the papers. I take pity with that young man." With that his father leave.

"Hays where are you?" Teakyun leaned backward to his chair as he remembers what went wrong with their relationship.

4 Years Ago

"Mr. Shun it was nice doing business with you. You never cease to amazed me. If it's ok I want to introduce you to my son since he will be my heir soon I want you two to get familiar with each other." The old man said.

"That would be my pleasure Mr. Dee" Teakyun never thought that meeting would change how he views hi wife.

"Mr. Shun Teakyun meet my Son Lei Dee" The old man looked at him and introduce his son. "Son this is Mr. Shun Teakyun. So I'll just leave the two of you to talk."

"Hi so how do you find the party?" The man asked.

"Boring, I want to go home to my wife." Teakyun said.

"Ppptttff." The man tried to contain his laugh. "I'm sorry. Is just that my father did mentioned that you are married but I was really surprised to find out that your wife is an old cla.s.smate of mine way back in middle school. Well to be precised he just transferred back then." Teakyun looked at him.

"I don't know if your wife ever mentioned this to you but he is actually a s.l.u.t in the campus. Man would lined up to you know." Teakyun can already see red with what the man is saying.

"I know my wife he won't do such thing." The man pretended to think then looked at him.

"Well yeah you have a point. Cause he is an Omega it can't be helped it may have been against his will but the school overlooked what happened and charge it as his fault for spreading his hormones and enticing the Alphas in the campus." Teakyun glared at him.

"Hey don't looked at me like that. Don't worry I didn't get a taste of him, he transfered as soon as his parents find out."

Teakyun did a little digging and found out that what the man said were all true. His wife got violated by many Alphas who's studying there in middle school he was just a newly transfered student. That went on for a year till parents found out about it. They tried to press charges but failed, they are not wealthy enough to take on the families who violated their Omega son so they decided to transfer him to another school.

He felt disgusted with his wife who got dirtied by bunches of Alphas. He noticed the names of the people accused and he knows that most of them are from the business world not that any of them are big enough to even compare to him but he still felt the horror of others knowing that he married a dirty Omega that he started not taking his wife with him. His pride and ego couldn't take it, Teakyun felt betrayed, he felt he has been cheated by his wife for not telling him his pasts dirty little secret.

He never told his wife about the things he knows instead he let his anger consumed him. He let his frustrations get the best of him. He can only feel satisfied whenever he sees his wife miserable state, his cries can make him feel like he's finally making it fair. It is only fair for his wife to feel his pain.

But now that his wife is gone then why does he feel so empty? His father is right if he just signed the papers then he can finally be free from the shame that his wife's dirty pasts can bring him and yet he can't bring himself to sign it. Why does he keep on looking for him till now.

"Teddy." Teakyun mumble.
