Tina looked at Fred, he was looking at Tina with a hope in his eyes, her heart seemed to melt. She cleared her throat , sipped few mouthfuls of water and then said, "Fred, you need to come to my home for lunch on this sunday. Mom is making chicken, she is a good cook. I would like to introduce you to my parents"..Fred looked at Tina and asked her, "This...what are you planning..."

She said, "meet my parents, we can start going out as friends,..then let's see how things go forward.." Fred looked at her, he said, "OK, you want to go out as friends..that is fine..but you are more than a friend to me, I hope you know that and you will not keep me hanging for long.." she smiled at him and said, "Fred, its been long since I made a friend, you are the first friend I made after several years, I wish to get to know you better, the other day when I held on to you and cried,I felt fresh and new, I moved over my past..help me to start over again so that I can regain myself emotionally..if I wish to give my love to you, I want to do it in a complete way, I don't want to get into a relationship with you without being sure of it, if I do it, it will be painful for me and I will lose your friendship also.."

Fred heard her, her sincerity moved him, he felt touched , he said, "Tina, I am ok to start with being friends with you..I will definitely come for lunch this Sunday," Tina smiled at him radiantly, his heart fluttered and he sighed. Then he said, "are you free this evening?" she said, "yes I am" he said, "let's go and watch a movie.." she said, "OK, let me inform Mom," she took out her mobile, called up her mom and informed her and asked her mom to have her dinner and not to wait up for her...Tina handed her car keys to Fred and asked him to drive, she pushed her seat back and closed her eyes. Fred adjusted the AC and set the blower towards Tina's face.

The small things which he did were so natural, Tina smiled to herself, this indicated his care. She took a small nap to refresh herself, Fred was driving on, he was looking at Tina , he was thinking how it would be to hold on to her , kissing her, he just shook his head driving those thoughts away..they reached the multiplex. Fred parked the car and Tina woke up with a smile, she checked herself in the mirror and adjusted her hair, he looked at her and said, "you look awesome, come on now," rolling his eyes, Tina said, "Oh yeah, I know that.." and she gave a smug smile, he looked at her and pinched her cheeks, "wow, you are so satisfied with yourself.." she giggled like a school girl.

They went, took tickets for a movie and walked into the theater and sat down. Fred went out and got some popcorn and water, Tina took popcorn and started munching , both were eating and enjoying the movie, they got engrossed in the movie. The plot was interesting, they liked it. It was interval already, both of them were discussing the movie and walking out. Tina went to use the restroom, she saw herself in the mirror, a pretty lady stared back at her. She relieved herself , washed her hands and went out. Fred asked, "you want to have more popcorn" she said, " I need a soft drink and some fries" he said, "ok, pick them up.." Tina was taken aback, he said, " we are friends, I paid for the tickets and popcorn, now you pay for the snacks.."he winked..she said "fine I will get the snacks, what do you want?" he said, "Take a large pack of fries, I will share with you, and I too want a soft drink.." Tina nodded, went to the counter and got the food and drinks. Fred tried to take the load off her hands, she said, "you are my friend, no need to act as a gentleman " he smiled and said, "you look sweet when you are annoyed.."

Tina kicked him on his leg and smiled savagely, " I am not as good as you feel I am, I am naughty and horrifying.." he said, "wow, that is how I like my woman to be, but alas you are still a friend.." he said and shrugged. Tina cursed him under her breath and went inside. Fred followed her , enjoying her back view and smiling to himself. She was opening up to him, this is a good turn of events...he was waiting for the day when she will completely belong to him....
