Chapter 1984: Go Beyond! Pandemonium's Defeat!

Pandemonium, overwhelmed from all the damage, was unable to fully evolve into a new form, and instead, pathetically attempted to regenerate, only twisting and transforming his body into an endless ma.s.s of flesh that kept regenerating, flames and demonic souls constantly were absorbed into his body, boosting his aberrant form.

Pandemonium's mind was going insane as this happened, countless crimson eyes and jaws appearing through his aberrant body, as Drake saw the true monster that hid behind that humanoid, demon appearance.

"Is this your true appearance?!"

Drake asked the question while attacking, swinging his golden mechanical sword, the combination of all his current powers against him with two of his main arms, while his other arms held Tiamat's Scale Shield, which had been merged with his mechanical armor to become even larger and amplify its powers.

CLAAASH!

He used his shield and charged forward, unleashing an explosive shockwave of rainbow frost and void flames against Pandemonium, whose monstrous body kept shifting around!

Drake manifested the power of his spirits and the demonic body parts into his body, rapidly expanding his Aura and unleashing the Red Diamond t.i.tan as well, using them to battle the many arms and tentacles of Pandemonium.

"GRYYAAAGGHH!"

Pandemonium roared like a monster, his body and shape constantly becoming more and more twisted, swirling into endless flesh everywhere. Using his giant sword, he cleaved through the flesh of Pandemonium, while his techniques, domains, spirits, and aura constantly pushed back everything.

He aimed at Pandemonium's center, as he knew that there was a large concentration of energy there, most likely his "core" or something close to it. Although before he had none, to continue being himself in this aberrant form, he probably changed his for, concentrating on everything that made Pandemonium himself, while the flesh became an external body.

Indeed, although Pandemonium was a being with "no soul" whose soul and body were one and the same, he was evolving to obtain a soul and separate it from his body.

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

Drake was being constantly pushed back by the tentacles, and he was never making enough progress! He grit his teeth, rapidly realizing he would have to do more than this to get things done.

"I have to go even further beyond...!"

FLUOSH!

His Divinities converged one after another once more, manifesting his Divinity Aura at full power, and then even his Ascendancy Law Aura, combining them together as a spiraling ring appeared behind him, unleashing the power of his Ascendancy Law at once in combination with his two Great Divinities.

"You two better work hard!"

Drake unleashed the power of his [Great Divinity: Heaven-Devouring Demonic Gluttony], tied to Gluttony and Orochi, who had merged into a single Spirit that was now contracted with Drake.

"Dammit!"

"What else can we do now anyway?!"

The two emerged from Drake's Aura, and then merged with it, as if they melted into an ocean of crimson and purple snakes with jaws and eyes across their bodies.

"And..."

Lastly, Drake unleashed the power of [Great Divinity: Sinful Demonic Crystal Storm t.i.tan Embodiment: Asura Adamas], as the storm of crimson sand and demonic flames manifested and erupted with immense force, merging with the sea of gluttony snakes.

FLUOOOSH!

Until something ma.s.sive emerged, Drake molded it into shape as he resisted the incoming tentacles and explosions of s.p.a.ce-distorting shockwaves and infernal flames.

Until...

"{Eight-Headed Heaven-Devouring Infernal Dragon Aura: Asura Adamas Orochi}!" "SHAAAAHHH!"

The monstrous aura emerged, pushing all eight of its ma.s.sive heads' forwards, as its long necks easily stretched all the way out, moving the tentacles and limbs from Pandemonium and opening the way for Drake go get through.

But that wasn't all!

Getting through? He wasn't going to just push things away.

CRUNCH! CRUNCH! CRUNCH! CRUNCH!

He unleashed the power of Gluttony at full, and even further evolved at that, the eight- headed dragon serpent made out of red, black, and purple colored crystallized divine, spiritual, demonic, and draconic power started devouring the flesh of Pandemonium, dozens of tentacles disappearing one after another.

As he devoured his way through, Drake rapidly regained much needed energies, as his reserves of Ascendancy Law Essence were already running low, but with this, he rapidly transformed the demonic energy into Essence, quickly restoring his stamina and also his speed.

"RUUUAAAARRGGHH!"

Pandemonium roared monstrously, his tentacles rapidly merging together into demonic dragon heads of their own, biting through Drake's Aura itself as he imitated his own technique and tried to overwhelm him with hundreds of such draconic heads!

"That won't be enough, Pandemonium!"

Drake didn't let him do as he pleased, however, as his Aura Manifestation easily resisted the deadly bites and then released ma.s.sive beams of demonic and divine energy combined with spiritual power, bombarding Pandemonium constantly.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The gigantic, almost over a kilometer big Pandemonium, which had now become some sort of aberration of flesh, eyes, and jaws, groaned in agony, its body being constantly covered by

ma.s.sive holes.

"{Dungeon of Gluttony}!"

And in that moment, Drake rapidly summoned the Dungeon of Gluttony, riding the giant worm made of dungeon bricks that pierced through s.p.a.ce with its giant jaws, and using it to move and evade more attacks while his Aura Manifestation took care of most of it.

"SHYAAAAH!"

The Dungeon of Gluttony quite literally hitched a ride for Drake, as the dragon king finally reached the deepest layer of flesh and blood of Pandemonium, his gigantic sword piercing through the last line of bony armor.

"I'VE HAD ENOUGH, PANDEMONIUM!"

With all his might in that attack, Drake pierced through the bony core, shattering it into pieces as a ma.s.sive explosion of all his converged elements erupted, imploding

Pandemonium from the inside out.

BOOOMMM!!!

Drake was pushed away by the ma.s.sive explosion, which distorted and shattered s.p.a.ce for a moment. His eyes looked at the scene, waving his wings and hands to push the smoke away.

"I had yet to use all the trump cards I had, but maybe I didn't need to?" Drake squinted his eyes, trying to look for what remained of Pandemonium...

And yet.

"Hmm?!"

His eyes widened, as he noticed the bony core falling into pieces in the middle of the sky, over

half of the flesh was gone, but whatever remained coiled beneath the bony core, taking the form of a fleshy, red colored rose blossoming beneath it.

And... there was something, or someone inside of that core, Drake thought it could be

Pandemonium's true soul.

However...

As the core shattered and fell apart, what emerged from within, what was being hidden within

Pandemonium.

And his "core", appeared.

"You've been very rude to him..."

Drake heard the voice of a girl echoing amidst the smoke, and once it fully dissipated, the

small, doll-like figure of a young woman appeared.

She had charcoal black skin, long silvery-white hair, and her eyes were closed.

Drake also noticed she only wore a white dress, and behind her back, there was a pair of

broken fairy-like wings that had many strange, creepy eyes.

Surrounding her were countless b.u.t.terflies resembling her wings, flying around, made of

darkness.

"What is the meaning of this...?!"

Drake didn't know what was happening anymore, did Pandemonium have this person inside

of him this entire time?

TRUUUM!

And from within her, he could feel it, an immense power like nothing before.

It distorted reality around him, turning everything completely pitch black.

She faced him, even without opening her eyes at all.

"Who are you?!"

Drake confronted her, holding his own ground above the skies.

The girl smiled at Drake for a moment, a very slight, small smile.

Before the flesh rapidly fused back together into Pandemonium's initial form, he looked

tired, exhausted, and sleepy.

"I-I'm sorry... I couldn't... I'm sorry..."

The girl embraced him, hugging him and kissing Pandemonium's lips.

"It's alright, you worked hard. I'll take care of things now, Pan. Go to sleep."

"C-Chaos..."

The G.o.d of Demons suddenly turned into pure red energy, which the girl absorbed, becoming

more "real" and less "ethereal".

"Did he say... Chaos?"

The girl once more faced Drake, this time, her powers spread through all of the sky, turning

everything pitch black.

"Yes, that is my name. I am Chaos."

"What?!"

The girl looked at the skies and smiled, spreading her arms, as her b.u.t.terflies flew into the

sky, and then, from the black sky itself, thousands of aberrations born from the abyss started

creeping through...

"I won't take lightly what you did to my Pan..."

And then, she opened her eyes, revealing both of them to be completely pitch black, Drake felt

as if he stared into the void itself by glancing at them.

"I'll kill you and everyone you love."
