Cells Divide 32 Making A Scene 1

"If you ever come into this town and act like your the big dog again, well I will ensure that this fear you feel right now is nothing in comparison to what I would make you feel. What you need to realise is that I own this town and everyone in it, and you are by no means close to being able to take that away from me.

But I am a forgiving man, I will let you off this once, but at a price, the odd job here and there, after all you are indeed one of the more powerful people in town.

But if you ever try to refuse one of my 'jobs', well I can make it very difficult for you. I can look at every request you take, I can make sure that you are denied quests... Do you understand what I'm getting at? Well do you?"

"Y-y-yes sir, I-I'm so sorry for wasting your time" She stammered

"Good, Good indeed. Now for an immediate punishment, what to choose, what to choose, there are so many options.

How much health do you have remaining girl? Answer me now!"

"175 s-sir, out of my total of 230" She responded.

"Oh I guess that will suffice, not nearly as much as I would like... Your punishment will be to sit here until you are brought to your last drop of life, just so that you know that I can kill you easily, after all I won't even have to move from my seat "

Then it began, she was kept strapped to the chair, having to look at this impossibly strong man as her health slowly whittled away.

The worst of it all, was that he had a stupid grin plastered on his face the entire time. He even ordered a drink called 'tea', which her system informed her was a drink the wealthy usually enjoyed. Which just added insult to injury, it was as if the man thought this to be some type of entertainment.

No matter how bad it was, she couldn't act. She couldn't risk transforming in front of this man, and she definitely couldn't try to fight him either.

So she sat still, and watched as her health slowly went lower, and lower until she was all the way down to 10 health.

"Sir, sir. My health is at ten, please stop now, please." She begged him.

After saying this the grin on his face grew even larger, but he didn't stop, he kept watching her.

She started to intensely sweat, and she even started to uncontrollably shake. This was it, she was to die, die just like how she began, trapped and helpless.

Then just as her health hit 1, it stopped. The man finally stood up and made the chains locking her up dissolve away.

"Now that you know I truly don't care about your life, its time for you to return the favour, after all I am the saviour of you life"

He then started to step closer to Qu, he continued to do so until he was a few inches away from her, he then lifted up her shirt and placed his finger on her stomach. The tips of his fingers then started to drip with blood, and he drew a complex pattern on her stomach.

Once he lifted his finger away, the blood was sucked into her skin and etched the blood red pattern into her.

"Now that you have a little more incentive to do as I say, lets us begin in our business.

It is a simple request, I need you to kill a man. I believe he is a spy from one of the other lords, I believe he plans to kill me and claim the town to add to his territory and improve his status. By killing this spy, he won't get his information meaning that he is less likely to succeed.

And I'll tell you what, if you get me the name of who this guy works for, well you may even get a reward.

Anyway, go away, and be quick about it."

After being told this, she quickly fled and was released back onto the streets.

It was peculiar, she now had this urge to do as he said, not just naturally but almost as if this is law and that this was her true purpose in life.

So without wasting any more time she went looking for the man. During the explanation of her task she was shown images of the man and the places he frequently visited.

So she went straight to the first building she was shown, which was a small middle cla.s.s house, so most likely the place he was staying.

As soon as she got close to house, she went straight to the front door and tried to open it, but sadly it was locked. But it was made of wood, so she could easily 'pick the lock'.

Soon enough the 'lock picking' was complete, so she stepped through the smouldering wood and looked around the house, but he wasn't home.

So she stepped straight back out the house and went to the second place he visited, a brothel house...

"I swear to G.o.d, if anyone even thinks about touching you, burn them, and if you don't I'll make you life a living h.e.l.l!"

Ignoring the nice message she received she continued to the brothel house. Luckily this time the door wasn't locked, so she stepped straight inside.

It was fair to say she was removing the memory of this place from her mind very quickly, extremely quickly.

Luckily enough he wasn't here, so she didn't have to see him in the act...

So she headed to the last place she was given, the best and most expensive restaurant in to whole town, it was fair to say that she was going to cause what some would call 'a scene'.

Once she arrived, the first thing she noticed was that she would not have enough money even to consider eating here any time soon. The first thing she noticed was that it had actual gla.s.s, and lots of it too, which acted as windows. Every other place she had been to had little to no gla.s.s, and had hatches and holes for windows. Another thing she noticed was that everyone here were dressed really nicely and seemed to have a small bit more money than her (just by a tiny, tiny amount... I swear).

But the worst thing of all, to get in the place it seemed you needed to pay. Believe it or not, she did not have enough to even step inside. So she chose to look through the very (expensive and) nice windows. And lo behold, he was there, at the back of the restaurant ordering food.

So rather than going through the door, she did something else...

The first thing she did was hide her ident.i.ty, she did so by turning into her bug goblin, and to her surprise she only had to wait 20 hours now.

She then activated her aura, and finally completely coated her bladed hand in all the fire she could muster, and just to make it even better, she added a little bit of venom into the mix, by not only making her flames green, but her aura also, and she even coated her other hand in the pure poison.
