The Reincarnated Genius With No Luck 5 Chapter 5: A Dream

Where am I...?

I see something...

There's a forest burning...

In this forest I see something...

People to be exact...

They're fighting...

Some are trying to flee...

"Go take Zail and leave!"(???)

A long eared humanoid creature exclaimed this. Where have I seen that face? This long eared person, who I presume to be something akin to an elf, is pushing a little left girl away. Where have I seen this little girl? It was recently.

Then I saw it.

The little elf girl was hesitating and so,

"Die!"(???)

Someone who I presume is a bandit was going to slash the little girl.

"Eek"(Little Girl)

I thought it would be the end of the little girl. However something that exceeded my expectations happened.

"I wont let you!"(???)

A blond haired and yellow eyed elf pushed away the little girl and took the slash instead. The blond eared woman was split in halves- her lower and upper body detached. Why is there a pain in my chest? Why is there tears? Why am I, a person who is bored of all the common things, experiencing such a thing?

"Anita, no!"(The long eared elf)

Now that I take a good look at this long eared elf, he has black hair and blue eyes.

"Mama!"(Little girl)

The little girl came running to the woman that was just split in half, but surprisingly something amazing happened. Something I can only deem as a miracle happened. She talked.

"Kinata... Go take Zail and leave..."(Anita)

"No! Come with us!"(Kinata)

"Dominus...Save the children please..."(Anita)

"I will save them, don't worry."(Dominus)

Then the nearly dead woman put her hands on the baby, the little girl was holding. The next few words were quiet, but it was clear.

"Zail, I'm sorry I won't be there in the future. I hope you can find safety, I hope you find love, I hope you can find peace. There are many worries I have but, I'm sure you'll be able to overcome these worries."(Anita)

Then she turned her vision to the little girl.

"Kinata, please guide your little brother on the right path..."(Anita)

The little girl was weeping. She was releasing tears, as if she were a waterfall. But, she still replied.

"I will... And you can too!"(Little Girl)

"Dominus, please take care of... Them..."(Anita)

"I will."(Dominus)

The Black haired elf dragged away the sobbing little girl and fled. The cries of the baby still in the hands of the little girl resounded.

The little girl and elf ran. Almost non stop they ran. Their huffed breaths echoed. But in the end, they were cornered to the edge of a cliff. Below the cliff was a river.

They tried looking around to see if there was any place they could escape to.

Then soon after, people came. They didn't look friendly, infact, you could say they looked like they were seeking blood.

"d.a.m.n!"(Dominus)

The long eared man cursed his current situation.

A man dashed to the long eared elf, and swung his sword. The elf caught the sword and disarmed the man.

Next thing the elf knew he reliased something.

A sword was lodged in the elf's chest.

"Ku.. d.a.m.n you"(Dominus)

A sword pierced behind the man and pierced the elf in the chest.

The elf forcefully pulled the sword out of him and ran to where the little girl and the baby was.

"I'll entrust everything to you Kinata!"(Dominus)

"And, as for you Zail."(Domius)

The elf's right hand glowed. No it would be more accurate to say it radiated with light.

The elf put his hand over the baby.

"I entrust you the legacy of our kind, Zail"(Dominus)

"Hold onto Zail as hard as you can, Kinata."(Dominus)

"Huh?"(The little girl)

The next thing that happened was that the girl and the baby were pushed off the cliff, and fell into the river.

"I protected them... Right, Anita?"(Dominus)

The elf dashed to their pursuers while asking a question that disapeared into the distance.
