The Great Mage 2 Her Ability

"Victor, this is my fault! If only I have listened to her not taking the test, this wouldn't have happened if I didn't push her!" Karen cried in her husband's embrace.

After what happen to their daughter, she was immediately transported to the Imperial Capital which is in City A and they bring them also. They were present to what happen in the Magic Hall Testing Area.

Arriving at the scene looking for their daughter, they found her lying unconscious in the ground.

A week ago, the moment Aurora was testing her ability the sky went dark making the people inside and outside of the testing area be confuse. The moment Aurora's consciousness went out of control, the building started shaking and crumbling into pieces and after a while it turned to dust dispersing through the wind and the gray sky went back to normal.

The Magic Hall Testing Building that stood for a hundred years crumble into nothing and it became big news. No one know what happen, some speculated that it was a terrorists or h.e.l.l beasts attack. Right now, the investigation is still on going to what happened.

Apparently no one was hurt from the sudden phenomenon at City X, Magic Hall Testing Area. They only found the three facilitators lying on the ground unconscious as well as Aurora who took the magic ability test.

Right now, the only thing that Aurora's mother wanted was to see if her daughter is okay or not.

"Mr. and Mrs. Summer, your daughter is still confine and were still running some test to figure out if she's okay that's why you still can't see her" The Medical doctor said in a gloomy tone not letting them know her true condition.

"So it means that my daughter isn't okay?! No! My poor Aurora!" Karen wailed and hugs her husband. Her legs went soft and anytime she would crumble if something bad really happen to her only daughter.

"Aurora is a strong kid, she will be fine, let us just trust her" Victor said and comforts his wife trying to calm her chaotic emotions. He is also worried for her sake, but the only thing they could do is to wait.

"I'll shall go now, I'll let you know when you can see Miss Summers." The Medical Doctor said and left the couple.

Inside the Imperial Hospital, A stern and burly looking man wearing the Magic Knights Uniform stood outside the room, it was none other than the General of the Magic Knights and only from the transparent gla.s.s he can see the girl inside the room who is now frozen inside an ice. There were also two other Magic Knight Soldier that stood guarding her door.

"What is her condition now?" The General ask when an old man dress in a white coat appeared at his side with a folder in his hand.

"It's still unknown, when she was transferred here in the Imperial Hospital her ability went haywire, we can't examine her in this condition and if she stayed too long inside the ice, this might kill her. Even the fire mages we called can't even melt the ice," The old man helplessly said and looks at the information regarding on Aurora Summers.

"Her parents are both Adverse Mages, she is the first among the Adverse Mage offspring to be an Elemental Mage and possess the rare Ice ability which only the Royalties possess. Is this possible to happen?" The General asks still looking at the girl frozen in ice.

"It is only possible if her magic genetic ability mutate, but for it to mutate it will take a lot of magic energy from the mother's womb to change it and not to the extent of having the same as the royalties. The rare magic abilities only came from the same bloodlines, her magic condition is a very rare condition to happen and nothing was recorded in history that something had happen like this, it was only a possibility. This is my first time seeing this to truly happen" The old man answer with a fascinated gaze.

"Is their also a possibility that she isn't the child of her known parents?" The General asked out of the blue, making the old man look at him with a complicated gaze and he pondered for a moment before he answered.

"That is also possible." The old man said and a Magic Knight soldier came running towards them.

"General, one of the testing facilitator woke up" The Magic Knight Soldier panted upon bringing the news.

The moment they receive the news, they immediately went to other room to see the patient.

It was the lady who facilitated the test that day and was found lying next to Aurora. The moment they enter her room, she was just looking out the window in a daze.

"Miss Sarah, I'm Bernard Rosco a healer and an Elder of the Magic Council. Don't worry you are safe here, let me just ask you a question. Do you remember what happen before you lose consciousness?" The old man, Bernard asks in a slow and polite manner.

The lady facilitator namely Sarah, turn her head and look at the old man before her, then a flash of memory exploded in her mind.

"T-the girl! Her name is Aurora! Where is she! It's dangerous to leave her alone and her ability is unstable!" Sarah instantly cried out and the Old man Bernard immediately holds her off.

"Calm down, she is in this facility now. Right now she is frozen inside an ice. Tell us what transpired that day." Old Man Bernard asks and immediately calms her nerves with his healing ability.

"Ice? That isn't her ability, before the magic orb broke into pieces I clearly witness what's her ability! It's Destruction! The Ultimate Nullification ability!" Sarah cried out holding the arms of Old Bernard in a frightened manner.

Hearing her remarks, The General and the Old Man stood rooted and shock upon hearing what she just said. Hearing the Destruction ability made their heart shudder.

This ability is only recorded on books, the first mage to possess this ability is part of the first mage generation during the Great Phenomenon and he was now regarded as one of the Great Mages. After he died, no one else possesses the same ability as him even his succeeding generations. Yet now, someone possesses it with different bloodline

The other shocking factor is also the magic orb that broke into pieces, that is the first time they heard a magic orb breaking into pieces from testing an ability. Well, her ability was of destruction so its a possibility.

Also, Sarah said that the magic orb only recorded the destruction ability. Then what about her Ice ability?

A lot of questions were brewing in their mind, their questions could be answer when Aurora who is frozen in ice could wake up.
