Before Release That Witch 1 01. Kingdom Secret Meeting

In the continent every King knows that the Church is waiting an opportunity to increase it power and rule over all continent. Even knowing the kings of every kingdom, helps by building cathedrals, temples and even burning witches or giving rewords for selling any information about them. The church constant increases of believer's worry many lords. But the incoming conspiracy was something big.

When King Wimbledon III received a secret letter, he couldn't help but be shocked. He really didn't expect the Church to use this method to deal with all the kingdoms; this was clearly a ruthless plan.

Although this information was still unconfirmed, the King already believed it to be real. If the Church's plan came to fruition, the kingdom's people would be suffering in the entire continent. And if the kings don't come with a solution there was even a possibility that the commoners would stop supporting them.

If the commoners start believing more in the Church, then Graycastle and other kingdom would only be kingdom in name, and what if the Church wait until or special target the kings and Royal family. The Graycastle had offended the Church by limiting the number of cathedral's in every region and not allowing royal family member from Been priest or Judge, it would be very strange if the Church lets this opportunity to punish the Graycastle Kingdom go.

King Wimbledon III thought that spy master's letter came at a very timely manner. The Church still hadn't started their plan, at this point, so the kingdom had the upper hand. If they found a cure, it could be wonderful.

The King immediately called his trusted ministers and advisers over and had then read the letter sent by Spy Master. These ministers were also n.o.bles of the kingdom, so none of them were stupid. Upon reading the letter, they immediately understood the implications of this matter for the Graycastle Kingdom.

When Wimbledon III saw their faces, he knew what they were thinking. Then he said, "I didn't think that the Church would use this trick. This is really too ruthless. We're lucky that the spy's managed to inform us; otherwise, I don't want to think about what would happen. Everyone, what do you think we should do?"

Then almost everyone's gazes turned to Adviser Ryan. This adviser Family had been at odds with the Church for a long time, and always advised the king to be carefully or caution with church. Because of this, everyone wanted to hear Ryan's opinion first.

The King nodded and said, "Adviser Ryan is right. I thought about this plan as well. What do all of you think?"

Adviser Jason then added, "But this new has to be speared secretly and have to come from one of the other kingdoms by rumor, then we don't have anything to worry about. And maybe it can stop this ruthless plan, as the Church Chain to be the good guys"

The King nodded, "This really depends on how far the church goes. If they get too ambitious, then the commoners would suffer a lot."

Then another adviser said, "However, if the church real start the plan, and we don't have a cure, thing could get troublesome, the Church would be using the cure to control the people to go against us. So the second thing to do is research on the cure or a contingence plan. What does your Majesty think about this?"

The king nodded and said, "Very well. We cannot just wait for the calamity. Good. Pa.s.s this command, starting tomorrow; the kingdom will enter 2nd alert level. Every and any information regarding the Church shall need to be pa.s.sed on as soon as possible." The people present complied, and then they asked to be excused.

When everyone had left, the Emperor then talked with a serious voice, "What do you think about this matter?" He seems to be talking to himself, but at this time, a reply came, "the church is seemed to be with great ambitions. They getting more ruthless lately, it looks like they are in hurry."

The voice resounded in the hall; however, the king doesn't seem to be startled. This was because this voice came from someone belonging to a special Graycastle's Kingdom unit, a Emblem Warrior!

A Emblem Warrior is an elite warrior trained from childhood to be the kings shadow. This man follows the Emperor every time. The existences of these warriors were only known to the Graycastle's Kings. Whatever the king was doing, this warrior will always be with him in the shadow. Even if the King was with the Queen or concubine in bed, they would act as an audience at one side. It's just that n.o.body had ever seen them before.

This unit of warrior has been present since the first Graycastle King doing the same rule of been the kings shadow. So none of these later kings, dared disobey this rule. Because of this, no king ever talked about their existence outside. These people's existence was Graycastle Kingdom's biggest secret elite force.

The king nodded and said, "It seems like the Church is afraid of something or someone. Could be does demons or another stronger enemy."

The voice didn't come, then the king sighed and said, "If Spy master didn't send word early, then I might have been dead by the Church's hand without even knowing." The king seems to be talking to himself right now, the voice wasn't speaking anymore.

The king also knew that unless he took the initiative and asked, the voice wouldn't say anything. He also knew that the owner of the voice was still there. For how long he has been the king, he still hadn't seen this person. He only knew that this person was extremely loyal to the Graycastle Royal Clan.
