Few minutes later.

Two men suddenly appeared near the area of Karol's house. "Hehe, Looks like he is gone, You wait here while I check the boy." The man with the sword said. "Check it fast, I will be guarding outside and Kill the boy if he tries to do anything." The man with the spear said.

"Well, Well, Well, aren't you guys are getting ahead of yourself." A voice was suddenly heard behind them. "Huh, Who the f**k tries to.." The man with a sword tries to scare away that person when suddenly his head falls from his head.

Looking at his companion corpse fallen on the ground, the man was surprised and tried to shout but he couldn't as his head also falls off from his body. The one who killed them was surprisingly Alan and just stood there smiling. Just as both of them died many presence disappeared from that area.

"Looks like no one will bother his for now." Alan thought while smiling and started to use a magic. Suddenly a ball of fire was created and launched at their corpses. After a while, their corpses were turned into ashes and suddenly Alan waved his hand and the ashes fly away with air.

"Well, that's done I should be going now." Alan thought while leaving the area. "Retreat all the members." A man said hiding behind a house far away from Karol's house and after a while, he runs away from that area.

"Mom, I am back," Karol shouted while entering the house. Suddenly a presence runs towards him and jumped on him. "Brother you are finally back, Lily was very worried about you," Lily said with tears in her eyes.

"Don't worry as your brother will never make Lily worried," Karol said while smiling warmly. "Pinky Promise," Lily said while holding out her pinky finger. "Pinky Promise," Karol said while responding to her gesture.

"Well, you should let you have some rest as he was missing for two weeks," Sasha said after coming out of his mother's room with an angry face. Karol then placed Lily next to her and bowed saying, "I am sorry about this."

"Well, you don't need to do that as I am not that angry but I can't tell that about her," Sasha said while pointing towards his mother's room. Hearing that Karol froze on his spot but still managed to say something, "I will tell mom about this."

"Well, you should and hope we meet again if you survived," Sasha said while giggling. "You don't need to tell me that," Karol grunted. "Huh, what did you say kiddo, should I convey it to your mother," Sasha said while smiling.

"It was nothing at all," Karol said with an anxious face. Looking at his reaction, Sasha just laughed. "Can Lily also come with your brother." Lily suddenly asked with a curious face. "Lily, you shouldn't as you are a good girl," Sasha said while patting her head. Hearing that Lily just nodded her head. "Well then, I should be going now," Karol said and enters his mother room.

Entering the he saw his mom laying down on the bed. "So, why have been out for 2 weeks instead of one," Karen asked with an angry face. "Well, I encountered something and something happened so this is why I was late to come home," Karol said with an anxious face.

"Can I know what something is being referred to and tell me just the truth," Karen asked with a severe voice. "Well, it happened on the last of the week as I was traveling in the forest edge," Karol said while emphasizing the word edge.

"I encountered a powerful beast so I got to run from it and then after evading it, I was lost in the forest for a whole week and only able to get out with help of some kind adventurer I met in the forest," Karol said with a serious face to make it look like the truth.

"You aren't lying right," Karen asked looking at Karol. Hearing that Karol froze on his place but calm down his emotion and said, "What are talking about mom why would I ever lie to you."

"I am sorry as I couldn't tell you the truth as it will only put stress on you." Karol thought with a sad face but laughed on outside. "You aren't hurt from anywhere, right?" Karol asked with a worried face as she realized her son was trapped in a forest for the whole week.

"You don't need to worry about that as that beast not able to put a single scratch on me," Karol said with pride. "Yeah, I understand but tell me if anything happened, Okay?" Karen asked with a worried face. Hearing that Karol just nodded his face with a smile.

"But enough about that, do you know something very special occurred in that week too. Can you guess?" Karol asked with a wide smile. "Well, if I have to guess you probably have encountered something that can help to cure me," Karen said with a warm smile.

"Huh, how did you realized that?" Karol asked with a surprised face as he didn't expect that. "Well, firstly I am your mom and secondly it's written all over your face," Karen said with a smile. "Am I that obvious?" Karol asked Karen replied just with a nod, and realizing that Karol just sighed.

"Well, you guessed it correctly as I have encountered a rare flower that sold for a hefty sum and I also have the money to buy the pills to heal you, Mom," Karol said with a wide smile. Hearing that Karen just smiled and said, "That's a good thing and why don't you two also come in."

Just as Karen said that Sasha and Lily entered the with an anxious face. "When did you realized that we are eavesdropping?" Sasha asked with a surprised face. "Well, from the start," Karen replied with a smile.
