"Well let me give you an example, let's think that you didn't kill that pair mother and son beast and left them alive. Then what do you think will happen?" Alan asked looking at Karol. "Well, they will then live their life in the forest unless someone kills them," Karol said with a strange face as it is an obvious fact.

"That's can happen but what if someday they break out village and attack at your house. Then what will happen?" Alan asked with an amused face. "That...." Karol didn't reply as he already realized that they will kill him and his family with a doubt.

"What you're thinking is right, this is by killing the beast that is the sacrifice, you are gaining protection from their future attack for yourself and your family while also getting stronger," Alan said while smiling. "But can't it happen with sacrificing something?" Karol asked as he didn't like the term sacrificing something.

"That instead of trying to gain something while trying not to sacrifice, you should try to gain the maximum amount of anything while trying to sacrifice as less as possible," Alan said with a serious tone. "Thanks for telling me that as it has removed a huge problem from my heart," Karol said while smile.

"Well, it's not my talking will heal it instantly as you still need some time to regain your will to hunt," Alan said while looking at Karol. "You are right," Karol replied as even he knows that. "Huh! What is the right about?" Leah asked while entering the room.

"Well, it's nothing but some men's talk," Alan replied while laughing. "Well if you guys are done with your men talk then let's talk about those flowers," Leah said while sitting down on the chair. "Okay." Both of them replied at the same time.

"So, how much did you sell it for?" Alan asked with a curious face. "Well, Karol will tell it himself," Leah said while giving the money to Karol. "Huh! 25 gold and what are these strange coins," Karol asked there were only 25 gold and 3 strange white coins.

Alan looked at coins with a surprised face as he didn't believe that kid of his age have that. Leah just laughed and said, "Well that is a Platinum coin that is equivalent to 100 gold."

Hearing that Karol was surprised and he suddenly started shaking as he didn't believe that he has that much money.

Looking at Karol's reaction both of them laughed as they knew anyone would be shaking having that much money. "Well, why don't you come out of your dreams as you still got to go home," Leah said while laughing. "Ah yes, yes," Karol said while nodding his head.

Looking at Karol, both of them just laughed and Karol's face was red due to embarra.s.sment but he was still happy as he got that much money. "Alan, you should walk Karol to his home." Leah suddenly said with a serious face. "Yeah, you don't need to tell me that," Alan said with a relaxed face.

While Karol just listened to their conversation while just nodding his head as he still excited by the amount of money he had. "Well let's go kiddo," Alan said while tapping Karol's shoulder. Karol then snapped back to reality and started to follow.

Just as they exited the room, many adventurer were standing as the gate while looking at something, and just as they saw Karol walking with Alan, they suddenly dispersed and goes to their respective way. "These guys really are b.a.s.t.a.r.ds," Alan said clicking his tongue.

Looking at the adventurer's strange behavior, Karol suddenly realized why Alan was going with him and he was once very thankful in his heart by their actions. Exiting the adventurer's guild they silently just walked to their destination.

"If you want to ask something then ask it." Alan suddenly said while smiling. Hearing that Karol was surprised as he wanted to something from Alan but couldn't decide to ask but after hearing him, he said, "Well, I wanted to ask as to why most of the adventurers are weak even though being so old."

Karol emphasized the word most as both Alan and Leah were least at Expert rank. "Well, I can't tell you now as it will endanger your life but you are going to the academy right?" Alan asked looking at Karol. Hearing that Karol was surprised as what could endanger his life but still nodded his head.

"Well, that's a great decision as you will know the answer once you go there but I can give a hint that it has a very special reason for it," Alan replied while laughing. Hearing Karol was suddenly excited to go to the academy now as soon as possible but decided to calm his emotion.

"But enough about that, tell me how did you get those flowers?" Alan suddenly asked with a curious face. "Well, After killing the mother rabbit, I wasn't able to kill any beast and then I encountered one so when I was running away from it, I encountered the flowers after evading from it." Karol then tells a made-up story as he couldn't tell anyone the real one.

"Well, you are quite lucky aren't you," Alan said while laughing. Hearing that Karol just nodded his head.
