Douluo Dalu : White God 16 Mountain Pass 2

An old man with disheveled hair and beard said to two peoples whom standing in front of his house. From the way he looked, it is easy to conclude that this old man's life is full of hardship. His shoulders that were once stocky, now looked thin wrapped in his old shirt.

"Excuse us, My name is Zhu Yi and this kid name is Mubai. we're travelers and want to stay for the night in this village."

"Ooh, so you're a traveler! welcome to our humble village. I'm the head of this village, you can call me village head or just old man Jie, you're welcomed to stay the night in this village but please pardon us for our lack of reception and hospitality. You two can use a room in my house, its been vacant for quite sometime."

The old village head smiling warmly to his two guest and welcomed them amiably. They exchanged some pleasantries before proceed to rest for the night.

The next day at dawn, I wake up at dawn and heard the sound of the door creaking. Remembering the the girl's story from yesterday I went outside and seeing that the Old village head already on his way to the east of village.

"He's really a man of resolve!"

I can't take my eyes from his back figure, granted that from his aura yesterday he's just a rank 12th spirit master and judging from his age clearly he's not fit to tread the path of an Immortal. But, so what? that's just make my admiration and respect for him went through the roof.

Then I wake Uncle Yi up and went after the village head, minutes later we catch up to him at his digging site. This early he already started to digging through the mountain's rock, all these years he digging through this mountain but from the look of it, its not even a tenth of it. But I can't see an ounce of impatience nor despair, the only thing I can see inside his old eyes are determination and resolve.

"Village head, I bring a breakfast for you!"

That's the girl from yesterday!

"Little girl, we meet again." Uncle Yi greet that girl amiably, taking out something from his 'sleeve' he approach that girl.

"Ah! Good sir, how are you?" then that girl looking at me, her eyes are full of concern.

"Are you okay? yesterday you suddenly went silent and not answering despite of my and good sir's call. But good sir said that you're okay so I went home because yesterday almost dark."

She smiling sweetly, you can see two small dimples on her cheeks when she smile. You know what? I decide to help this girl's and the old village head's wish.

"Little Ru, thank you for the breakfast as always! I see you already know my two guest here." the village head approach us while deactivating his spirit soul, it seems that his spirit is a handkerchief.

"Village head, as a thanks for letting me stay the night at your house. let me help you open a path through this mountain range to the Yule City." I'm smiling and slightly bowing my head at the old village head. No matter what, this man truly deserve a respect!

"What are you talking about boy? its my responsibility to welcoming a guest of this village. Don't talk about thanking me, you young folk should just learn dutifully and have some fun! Let an old man like me to take the brute of the world's cruelty."

The village head's face looked stern when he said that, but when you look closer you will notice that his eyes are actually smiling.

"Haha, let me old man. Uncle Yi, please make sure that they're not hurt."

I stepped up and walked to the place that village head just dug, and slowly channeling all of my energy.

"Step back a bit and Cover you ears, this will be a bit noisy!!!" my mouth grinning from ear to ear, excited to test my full power. Well, at least my full spirit power. Hehe, you shouldn't show all of your cards that easy.

I want to stay in the shadow, but...

There'll be no shadow if there's no light right? And let just say that I only believe something that I handle on my own. Thinking that I jump to the air, or called it floating through the air maybe more appropriate. This is so exciting, but I still need to control the collateral damage.

"Um, isn't the air become too heavy all of sudden? I have a hard time to breath." The girl's face become a bit pale, Uncle Yi then cover the girl and the Village head with his spirit energy. A frown could be seen on his face.

'Is this really Bai'er's power?'

Floating through the air, Mubai could be seen arrogantly standing on the sky and staring at the mountain range in front of him.

"Its time..."

The spirit energies become more and more concentrated with Mubai's fist as the center. Slowly it become so dense that any person, even a mortal, with an eye can see it clearly. He taking a deep breath, and whispering words softly but that echoes far enough to be heard all the way until the Yule City.

"Spirit skill - [Lunar King Descend]"

"Myriad Fist---"

Along with the words that he let out, the s.p.a.ce around Mubai are trembled, he clenched his fist hard and an image of a circle filled with rune creating a shape of a crouching tiger appeared before him.

"---World---"

The circle keep getting bigger until its size become as big as half a mountain. A moon shaped pattern appeared inside his eyes, Mubai then slowly swing his fist forward.

"---Breaker!"

BANG!!!

A ground shattering sound reverberating far and wide through the area, dusts risen up high to the sky and covered the vision. The circle helped to control the collateral damage and made the destructive force to be more concentrated.

Mubai then looked at his fist and thought, 'This is just the spirit energies without the boost from my phsysique power, what if...'

"Spirit Skill - [Gale Dome]"

Zhu Yi's voice could be heard from down below, then the dust that covered the area sweeped out by a dome-shaped Gale, and the area become clear once again. Mubai then looking at the Village head and said with a smile.

"Village head Jie, from now on this path will be known as Jiějué mountain pa.s.s [1] in honor of your resolve and determination. I hope in the future this path would be able to grant your wish to prevent many tragedies like what happened to your late wife to happen again."
