The girl cut a very sorry figure her hair was a mess nest her skin was covered in bruises her clothes utterly tattered. Her sword still on her hip she looked around.
Confusion readable on her face. The rune that the general had used to send her into a random location.
She cursed under her breath. Now, where was she? Was she alone here? Where were her friends?
As she pierced her situation together she heard a m.u.f.fled noise. Her eyes dart to the trees and brushes squinting her eyes.
A man pushes a rock off himself and sits up rubbing his temple he looks as bad and ragged as her in his half torn pants lets not even mention the state of his shirt. His facial mask is no more and his hood half gone.
He cursed loudly. "f.u.k that hurts." He said removing another branch from himself.
"Bast?" the girl says in a low voice not too sure of what happened.
They clearly had teleported but this should not have happened. They clearly "crashed" not ported.
Few miles away from them at the same moment.
"Erm. s.h.i.t seriously Get off me your heavy!"
Two girls bicker as one steps on the other as they get back up. Finally standing both Yuya and Saya's gaze wander around their location. A large clearing with fresh water spring and old tree's the place looked peaceful enough.
"So do you suppose on where in the h.e.l.l we are? There is a sky so we can't be in the underworld anymore?" Yuya spoke with slight annoyance they clearly we now lost.
"Wel-" as she was answering a loud sneeze was heard… Snapping their heads back at the noise they saw a psychic Dragon scrunch its noise as it had smelled a flower.
Both raised a brow at the comedic action of this mighty lord throwing a sneezing fit over a pollen flower…
Downstream inside a cave, small cries of a newborn echo's as a girl holds it near her body her fire red hair dull and dirty her luxurious cloths recked beyond possible. she rocks and lulls the small infant to sleep her voice sweet and crackled as streams of tears fall from her eyes.
Her heart is broken her love is likely dead yet now she might lose their child as well.
It was born early, the last of her strength is nearly gone, she just keeps pushing herself to maintain the magical fire so it does not go cold.
That small life that she had carried her son. Their son. How could she give up? It had to stay alive. She smiled bitterly, tying the infant to herself with clothes making it a carry skin bag so her body would help it keep warm. Wrapping her arms around it carefully cradling it.
Slowly closing her eyes trying to rest her strength without falling asleep, but her consciousness was dangerously wavering as her mana pool reached slowly its end.
An unknown man of the wild with brown hair tall stature and ma.s.sive body fit of a barbarian berserker approached the small fortune camp. He had heard the cry of a child, at first he had thought some woman must have abandoned a child there. It wasn't rare for that to happen. But he found it too cruel to let the child die out from cold and hunger. being more merciful to just end it quickly and not let it suffer.
Therefore, he had gone toward the sound but instead of an abandoned child. -he found a woman that had given birth. All alone and her campfires were now only charcoal fires. Wich where extinguishing and dying fast.
A scowl formed between his brow. His eyes took in what he saw her clothes were so damaged it was clear she had fought prior to giving the child life.
He crouched down examining her face that was sleeping holding on to the baby that was now lacking warmth.
Taking a fur out of his travelling bag he covered both child and mother.
While he would have killed a child out of pity if the mother had abandoned it, after all, he had no time or will to raise someone else's offspring.
It was clear that she had not.
After he had covered them he left to the nearby trees and started cutting some woods to make a makeshift carrier.
He would lay her on it and carry her to the village the chief would then deal with the woman and child.
Further north a bit later around noon.
Two girls one dressed in white the other dressed in feral cloths walked on each side of a white wyvern and a fey circling and making acrobatic fly patterns as it pressed them on to move faster dragon lead the march flying in front of them as they headed toward a cave.
Entering they saw the cold coal and blood. The fey dragon nearly went ballistic mad.
It screeched and whined loudly, it searched for the missing person sent.
Chie walked out of the cave looking for signs they knew their friend had been here and clearly she was hurt.
She couldn't have gone too far. The wyvern let out a mild rumble of her throat as it sniffed tracks left in the soil large about a meter or 3 and some feet large.
Someone had picked up their friend and was carrying her.
Chie climbed on the wyvern which took off into the air followed by the fey dragon that carried Demona. All their exhaustion had faded to the back of their mind as they frantically searched from the air.
