Chapter 1724: Klaus Heading To An Ancient Faction

The Moonlight Faction.

Klaus, the number one genius from the Faction could be seen leading a group of youngsters. They were about to head out for an expedition, and just like the Pyrmond Faction, they too were headed for one of those ancient Factions. Initially, Klaus didn't want to go when he was informed, but just like Grey, he didn't have a choice. Being the number one genius meant that he didn't have the luxury to reject the request.

They'd be headed to a Faction that focuses fully on the ice element. Klaus wasn't too

interested in these ancient Factions, he felt like they were cowards. While the rest of the world were struggling to survive, these guys locked themselves out.

"Klaus, don't cause any trouble there." The Faction Leader of the Moonlight Faction, a beautiful middle-aged lady with a slender figure, an oval face, long blue hair, and blue eyes said to Klaus.

Klaus looked at the lady standing in front of him, "Tell them not to irritate me."

The Faction Leader looked at Klaus, she wanted to get mad but she gave him. She had been dealing with Klaus' antics since he joined the Faction, and although he's a bit troublesome, his talent is just too outstanding, and it almost always overshadows his troubles. Also, he tends to always miraculously come out of most of these troubles unscathed, which proves that he's smart and picks his victims wisely. Given Klaus' talent, even though the Faction Leader isn't too hopeful about the other young talents in the Faction, she was a hundred percent certain that Klaus absolutely doesn't pale in comparison to them and she feels he might be their equal.

"I heard your friend also went to one of these old Factions." A young lady walked up to Klaus and striked a conversation.

"Yeah. I'm certain he was also forced there." Klaus replied, he knew Grey too well to know that he wouldn't want to go on these expeditions given his current strength. With their current cultivation stages, even though they didn't mind having help from these people, they didn't really think that there's anything there that will make them grow in a short time.

This expedition is meant to last weeks, even months. There was no way Klaus would be willing to stay in a particular place for an extended period without stepping out. Even when he's trapped in the Moonlight Faction, he still occasionally escapes from your senses, having some time off, and the Faction Leader always lets him have his way.

"Aren't you a bit curious about these ancient Factions?" Another beautiful young lady walked up to Klaus and asked. All the ladies from the Moonlight Faction were dressed in a silver glowing gown, and Klaus' attire was also made with glowing silver fabric to signify their affinity to the water element's ice ability.

Klaus looked at this young lady, he has long been very familiar with almost every single person in the Faction, "I am curious, but I don't see the reason why we have to go there to train?"

"They have a better training environment than we do." The young lady explained.

Klaus looked at the Faction which most of it seemed to be made entirely of ice and couldn't help but ask, "What's wrong with ours?"

"You'll know the difference when you get there."

"If they're willing to offer me some good treasures, I might have a favorable opinion of them."

"In your dreams."

"I'm the Young Lord of this Faction, mind how you speak to me."

"Who made you the Young Lord?"

"If anyone my age and below can defeat me, I'll hand over the position."

Klaus and the girls from the Faction bickered as they boarded the ship they'd be leaving in. On hearing Klaus' words, the Faction Leader and the Elders felt their faces twitch.

Klaus was just thirty, yet he could be said to be a Sixth stage Sovereign. His strength is also stronger than that of a regular Sixth stage Sovereign. In fact, Klaus has battled a Seventh stage Sovereign, and didn't end up losing. The battle ended in a tie, but the Faction Leader knew that if the battle had gone on longer, Klaus would have beaten the Elder he sparred with.

So on hearing Klaus, someone that could challenge some of the top Elders in the Faction say if anyone his age could beat him, he'll hand over the t.i.tle felt like a slap in the face of not just the young geniuses, but also the Elders in the Seventh stage of the Sovereign Plane. Everyone in the Faction knew of Klaus' freakish ice defense, as long as he persisted, not even those Elders on the verge of becoming Eighth stage Sovereigns can take it down.

'Good thing we didn't give him the chance to win.'

The Faction Leader and all the Elders exchanged glances and nodded, it was as if they could read each other's minds. They all had this thought in their minds as they saw how Klaus acted. They all know how Klaus likes to brag, hence the reason they all came to the conclusion that they couldn't allow him achieve the same feat that brought Grey once again to the spotlight a few weeks ago.

He had been taunted into challenging an Elder in the Seventh stage. And who would've thought that the Elder Klaus selected would not be able to take him down in a short time. As the Elders realized what was happening, they simultaneously agreed not to allow Klaus to get ahead of himself, hence the reason they made sure he didn't win the battle.

'I just hope he doesn't get into any trouble with those from top Families.' The Faction Leader was still very worried about Klaus, but then she looked at him still bickering with the girls, and winning as a matter of fact, and couldn't help but shake her head, Klaus doesn't usually go overboard, whatever happens, she'll deal with it.
