His rather broad shoulders for an elf gave him an imposing and impressive look.

The light-skinned elven girls stole glances at him as he led the path to the central tent which was his personal quarters.

The girls couldn't help but feel their cheeks heat up and blush.

Once inside, the tent was plunged in darkness in all but one place at the central rear.

Beside the bed, two chandeliers had been lighted up.

In the dim light, they could make out the form of a small sleeping silhouette.

Nearing the bed, they could hear the even breathing sound made by someone that was asleep.

The girls looked at each other, who was this? Judging by the looks of this girl and her sleeping position, combined with her protruding belly, she could be his concubine. Was he going to introduce them to her?

The sleeping girl did not seem to wake from the noise they made when they entered, turning toward them, Arkalat spoke coldly.

"This is my wife, from now on you will attend to her."

The girls looked at each other. Well, they did not mind it. Pleasing the head wife was expected from concubines until they could wrap like koalas on their master, gaining favour from him.

The girls looked at Speranza as if this was an enemy to defeat.

If they could dethrone her, they would be well-off!

But lucky for them, she looked like she had exhausted all her magic!

She would not wake up for a long time…

It would give them time to steal the master from her and do the deed.

Rather than being a slave, if they could be his concubines then they won't have to work, have full bellies, and most of all, be protected!

Sadly for Arkalat, he did not realize that those girls were calculating on him… if not, he would dump on them an ice-filled bucket there and then!

Filling up a tub of water for washing up. He then went to sit on a chair next to his beloved wife, but his eyes were on the girls. Looking at their every move.

Once the tub was filled with warm water, he picked up his sleeping wife to remove her clothes; the task at hand was done as he carefully placed her inside the tub, gently washing her up.

The girls watched as the most infamous for his cruelty— the general of the abyss gently washed his, as far as they guessed, unconscious concubine?

Taking off all the mud and dirt from her delicate body, Arkalat felt his heart rip into pieces.

No one knew when she would wake up. However, to speed the process, he took out his storage bag containing a magical crystal bed.

This would gather all the magic available in the air and focus it inside this crystal gla.s.s where she would lay.

He depressingly looked at the crystal bed. How long would he have to wait before hearing her voice again?

If he had not fallen into the scheme made by those dark elves spider kissing b.i.t.c.hes, she, his most precious person would not be in such a dire strait!

Thinking of which, he still had not given them his "welcome" yet.

Closing the lid over, enclosing Speranza in a high magical infused "bed"; he caressed the crystal gla.s.s and closed his fist, his aura turned into north pole desolated Iceland cold.

The girls shivered; what had provoked that change in his aura?

"Each of you, bathe yourself." Without saying anymore, they dared not argue and bathed themselves as he sat down looking toward the ice-cold crystal bed.

While he bore no thoughts on those girls, they saw it as him asking to clean themselves as he would be watching it.

The girls made it a purpose to "clean" themselves in the most enticing way!

But little did they know that the focused gaze he held was actually him solely imagining how he would torture those surviving dark elves, making them wish for death instead!

Realizing that the first girl still was in the bathtub standing, making water tinkle down her body, taking alluring poses.

"If you don't hurry up, the others will bathe in cold water."

"Once you're done, go ask for some clothing." He said a bit tiredly, his gaze returning to his beloved as his hand ran along the edge of the bed lid.

She felt like he had poured her in ice, he had not felt anything for her alluring body nor was he enticed? Was she lacking in seduction? She believed that no men from the dark elf race would not like her very much if she made it a purpose to entice them!

She was unwilling, very unwilling to admit defeat!
