But, he could feel his body weak in mana which confused him so he looked around and found the culprit: Black Thunder. And, apparently, the sword knew it was caught as a small glint pa.s.sed through the blade like it was mocking Usui.
Usui's brows twitched on seeing his sword gloating that he slapped himself, 'I shouldn't have bought this sword. This d.a.m.n sword just keeps draining my mana.'
"Did you just call me a d.a.m.n sword?" an arrogant voice echoed in the room.
Shocked, Usui looked around the room while he grasped his sword ready for an attack but saw no intruder.
Usui murmured, 'That's strange... Where did I hear the voice from?'
He relaxed a little thinking that he dreamed about the voice and shook his head. But, when he stood up and took a step forward, he swayed and kneeled down.
He clenched his fists angrily as he shouted, "This ******* sword !!!!!"
He pinched his glabella in fury as he thought of attending the battle in his weak state. He wouldn't have had this problem as he could just meditate and regain all his strength but now with the way his body was... Sigh!
He grabbed his sword and was about to throw it in anger when he heard the same arrogant voice, "Throw me and I will make sure to chop you million times in your sleep."
Shocked, he looked at the sword and saw a glint on the blue crystal.
"Wait... Black Thunder? you can talk?" he looked at the sword ridiculously.
Since he didn't hear a response soon, he shook his head as he got up and sat on the bed and thought, 'Stupid, how can a silly manabsorbing sword talk?'
"What?! Black Thunder? And how dare you call me stupid, you stupid human?" the annoying voice shouted.
Usui looked at his sword in surprise, "Wow. I have a talking sword. If the public comes to know this, they would call me crazy."
The voice asked again, "How dare you name me, Black thunder?"
Hearing his question, Usui reb.u.t.ted irritatedly, "I'm sorry, did you want to be called BLACKY?"
The sword shone brighter indicating it's fury which Usui ignored.
"So ... it's either Black Thunder or Blacky? What's your choice?"
He could feel the sword protesting but he smirked at it.
Then he heard the voice ask, "Why are you so weak? How did I choose such a weak owner?"
Hearing the sword mocking his strength, Usui snapped, " How dare you say I'm weak when u absorbed my mana throughout the night? Wasn't it enough snack for you? and yet you complain that I'm weak?"
The voice arrogantly retorted, "You were only chosen because of your mana supply. Don't think too highly of yourself, stupid human."
Usui let out a deep breath before he looked at the sword again, and smirked, "I'm your master now. So you have no other choice than to be with this weak human."
He could feel the sword laughing and Usui thought, 'So, a sword can laugh, heh?'
Then he heard the menacing voice, " So now even a little human dares to threaten me."
Right after those words, Usui felt the temperature inside the room grow cold as the blue blade shone brighter. He could feel the killing aura emitting from the sword which brought gooseb.u.mps all over his body.
He was about to say something when he realised the killing aura die down and the temperature returning back to normal.
He heard the voice shamelessly say, "You are fortunate that it takes a lot of time for me to appear before you but once I do, you will feel my wrath."
Usui stared at the blue sword on his hand before he started rolling on the bed, laughing.
He could feel the sword grow agitated by his response, so he struggled to hold it in, as he said, " Sure... definitely fortunate."
