Just Mine 33 Dinner

Neto took her to a Lebanese restaurant and she placed their order. After the waiter left, she asked him...so what happened to you birthday boy, what are you doing here? Neto looked at her, I don't know what you are talking about he said not taking his eyes off her. Sky shook her head and said, stop feigning ignorance dude...you and I both know you are not suppose to be here, where is the party at? is there a surprise party somewhere?

Nah he said, there's no party just the two of us, I don't want all that noise and fake people around...i just wanna be by myself in a serene environment. Woh, sky said ...someone is getting matured, who the h.e.l.l are you and what did you do with my friend, picking up her bag ..she stoop up to leave. Neto was surprised at her reaction, he held her hand and said... what are you doing?

I'm leaving she said....why? he asked, you said you wanted to be alone plus you are not acting like yourself...snickering she sat down and said ....I can't leave even if I want to, am starving plus I really need the turkey and ummm the spaghetti. Neto let out his breath and laughed...phew she was joking, she was soo serious a while ago, she really got him. Realising that he was just staring at her and smiling, he said...how have you been? any serious relationship? Am doing great she said, um about the relationship, there is one but am still checking him out...oh cool, he said, feeling disappointed, he took a sip from the gla.s.s of water in front of him.

They chatted for a while before their food arrived, Neto told her about his trip and how he's been working his a.s.s off and really needed a break, hence his coming early. Their food arrived and they dived in immediately, Sky was almost through with her spaghetti balognese, she picked up her turkey and she was about slicing her turkey, like a déjà vu...she remembered her visit to her ex, it felt so real, like he was in front of her. She wasn't the type who loved eating, Ruky had forced her to eat, seeing as she was playing with her food, he took the turkey from her, sliced it in bits and started feeding her, you have to eat more, he said, you need more flesh. She laughed at that and said,. hey am full...my stomach is really big, look at it. How can someone so attentive, someone who remembered all the things she's said, even the tiny details, he always nagged her and was always there to remind her to eat, he always listened to her, even if it was rubbish...how can it all be a lie? how could he leave her to marry somebody else. She still couldn't understand it all, he never treated her bad except for the part where he didn't use her often on his profile pix.

Neto noticed Sky had stop eating and was staring into s.p.a.ce, she looked so sad, what could she be thinking about, leaning close, he pinched the bridge of her nose and said, come back to me...how can you have such handsomeness in front of you and you are thinking of another man...I am soo hurt. Owwwww she said as she rubbed her nose, that hurt plus I was just thinking of you, of our future together with our many babies. Sky noticed how his face fell and said...jeez am just teasing dude, it's your day...I don't want you sad, now put a smile on that face. I know you weren't thinking about me Sky, I wish you can forget him, he really didn't deserve you and don't deserve you, you should be grateful another lady took that sc.u.mbag away from you. Plus you are beautiful, don't ever think less of yourself because he left you for a white woman.
