Xu Jia Li saw that he looked so tired. It was only then that she noticed the slightly dark circles under his eyes.

'He must really be exhausted.'

Suddenly, her heart ached for him. Afraid to wake him up, Xu Jia Li went to her room and took a blanket on the cabinet.

She slowly walked towards him and carefully put the blanket on him.

'Sleep for a while. I'll wake you up after you rest a little.'

Xu Jia Li slowly sat beside Si Weimin. She stared at him with love. She had the urge to caress his handsome face so she raised her hand. However, her hand stopped mid- air when it was only an inch away from him.

She immediately placed her hand down on her lap. She gazed gently at the sleeping man beside her.

'How can someone be so handsome? Why did my heart feel complete when I'm with you?'

A few minutes pa.s.sed, she was still gazing at Si Weimin. The urge to hold him was getting stronger. She bit her bottom lip as she succ.u.mbed to her desire.

She slowly raised her hand and gently caressed his face. She was startled when he moved and held her closer to him. She shivered in his embrace. She gently lifted her head and saw that his eyes were still closed.

'Is he dreaming?'

She blushed when she realized their position. She tried to remove his hands on her waist but she felt them even tightened. Her heart thumped fast.

Afraid to wake him up, she tried after a few minutes but still failed.

Xu Jia Li didn't know what to do so she sighed as she decided to lean her face on his shoulder and put her hands around his waist. She took the opportunity and grabbed it, thinking that it's not every day that she would experience moment as good as this.

She leaned her head even closer to his neck as she snuggled to him. She was immediately filled with his fragrance. His scent gave her warmth.

"You smelled so nice." Xu Jia Li murmured as she closed her eyes – enjoying the moment as she captured it dearly in her heart and mind.

Si Weimin's eyes opened when he realized that there was someone snuggled next to him.

He gazed down on the beautiful woman in his arms. No wonder he felt calm and relax, he was cuddling Xu Jia Li.

He didn't know that he fell asleep after he sat on the sofa. With a full and happy tummy, he immediately felt sleepy so he decided to close his eyes.

He really didn't realize when he dozed off.

He lovingly gazed at Xu Jia Li sleeping soundly on his embrace. His heart swelled with love and longing. He would do anything to experience this moment with her every day and night. This moment was priceless. Only Xu Jia Li could make him feel so at ease.

A gentle smile flashed across his face when he saw the blanket. He could almost imagine the concern on Xu Jia Li's face. Thinking about it, his heart began to melt.

He looked at his Rolex Daytona watch and saw that it was already 2 in the morning. They had been sleeping on the sofa for almost 2 hours.

That explained the stiffness he was feeling from their position. He suddenly felt his back stiff. He moved slowly as he took his arms from her waist.

He leaned her on the sofa before he went to her bedroom and opened the door. He walked back to the living room and gently carried Xu Jia Li in his arms.

When he reached her bedroom, he slowly put her on the bed. He smiled when he saw the blue teddy bear on Xu Jia Li's bed.

He was glad to see that Xu Jia Li treasured it. He gazed at her before he caressed her face. He sat on her bed – dreaming that one day, they would share the same bed.

Si Weimin's gentle gaze ran all over her face, as if memorizing every part of it. He was once again awestruck with Xu Jia Li's remarkable beauty. She looked fresh and clean, without trace of make up. Her skin was so smooth that he wanted to run his fingers on it.

She was different from all the beauty he laid his eyes upon. She had that aura in her that set her by par, the aura that made one drawn to her.

At first, he thought that what he felt for her was just a mere infatuation but as years went by, his feelings for her even grew stronger. No matter what he did, it would always be her in his heart.

Si Weimin gazed at his watch. He was battling with himself whether to stay or not. No matter the urge and longing, he had to do the right thing.

"Sleep tight, my love." He whispered next to her ears then he lightly kissed her forehead.

He was about to stand up when he heard Xu Jia Li spoke, "Weimin, please don't go."

Hearing her soft pleading voice, Si Weimin gazed at Xu Jia Li. He thought she was sleep talking but he was surprised to see her eyes open.

"Did I wake you up?" he asked softly as he caressed her hair.

"Mmm. You did." Xu Jia Li nodded lightly.

"Okay. Go back to sleep. I'll just stay here until you sleep again." Si Weimin slowly sat on the edge of Xu Jia Li's bed while he continuously caressed her hair.

"J-just sleep here tonight. It's really late." Xu Jia Li moved from her bed to give s.p.a.ce for Si Weimin.

The poor Blue was pushed out of bed since his 'dad' needed the s.p.a.ce.

Seeing that, Si Weimin didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He just said earlier that Xu Jia Li treasured his gift. All of a sudden, the poor Blue was neglected on the floor.

"Sleep beside me, honey."

Si Weimin didn't know if he was hearing things as he stared at Xu Jia Li. He sat there without moving. (A/N: Did she just call him honey? Wow! Our girl is getting bold.)

"Here…" Xu Jia Li patted the s.p.a.ce on her bed, "I don't really mind, Mr. Arrogant Si."

Seeing the smile on her face, Si Weimin's heart pounded really fast. He still couldn't move on from hearing Xu Jia Li calling him 'honey'.

"Let's sleep now…"

Hearing the impatience on her voice, Si Weimin removed his shoes and settled next to her – the two of them facing each other.

"Thank you." Si Weimin replied in a low voice. He caressed Xu Jia Li's hair and brushed it behind her ear.

Xu Jia Li only smiled as she softly said, "Honey…" before she closed her eyes.

Si Weimin couldn't help but smile as he gazed at her. He simply arranged the blanket before he took her in his arms.

He hugged her tight as he kissed her forehead, then the tip of her nose and down to her slightly opened lips.

It was a feather light kiss… but they both felt the love they had for each other. And then, the two of them finally dozed off – dreaming of one another.
