"I know that she has her plan. She won't be Asia's Multi-Talented Queen for nothing." Si Weimin chuckled as he combed his still wet hair using his hand. His face turned bright as he imagined the look on Xu Jia Li's face after knowing that the rumours had been removed.

"Of course, CEO Si! And I know you wouldn't just stand back without helping Xu Jia Li." Answered the overjoyed Zhen Nian, she was truly happy to know how much Si Weimin loved her friend.

She could still remember that night which changed her life. She was going back to the dormitory after an exhausting day at Cui Ruzhou. She was really tired and burdened of her financial problem. She still didn't pay her tuition fee and she was doomed to stop from her studies due to lack of financial support.

She was a working student and her parents didn't do much as farmers so she never let them be bothered by her financial needs.

Deep in thoughts, she was suddenly stopped on her track by a tall slender man wearing a black suit. He looked like an executive and immediately, her face reddened. She stared at his handsome face and blushed as he frowned a little.

He then told her that someone wanted to be her benefactor. At first, she became alarmed and doubtful, afraid that the so-called benefactor would offer an indecent proposal; until her intuition told her that it might be the help she needed.

Without thinking, she followed the handsome man which she later on found out to be a.s.sistant w.a.n.g Guo, the a.s.sistant and secretary of Si Weimin, the CEO of Si International Corporation.

The cold aura of Si Weimin made her shuddered until he told her what he wanted. She was shocked to know that her cold and aloof roommate had a powerful man who vied for her attention.

He only asked for her to look after Xu Jia Li and bring the food to her. Such an easy task and she would have her benefactor! Zhen Nian agreed to him and promised to take care of Xu Jia Li.

She was a bit apprehensive at first knowing that Xu Jia Li had a quiet nature. Xu Jia Li didn't allow anyone to be near her. She was always alone. She didn't socialize much and seldom talked with her colleagues.

Her friendship with her had not been easy because Xu Jia Li was aloof and introverted. That was the reason why Xu Jia Li was shocked when she took care of her. They became friends since then.

Although Zhen Nian did it for having Si Weimin as her benefactor, her love and care for Xu Jia Li was real. She did her best to be the best friend for her. Until later on, she learned that she was like that because of her past.

"Hmm, just let me know if she needs something."

Zhen Nian was cut off from reminiscing the past when she heard him speak.

"CEO Si truly dotes on Xu Jia LI." She teased Si Weimin – glad that he was still in love with her friend.

"Hmm."

Si Weimin ended the call with a grin on his face. He put his phone back on the side table where he noticed Zhou Bingbing's gift. As he was about to open the painting which was still wrapped in parchment paper, his phone suddenly rang. He picked it up and saw the name registered on the screen.

Seeing that it was the call he was expecting from w.a.n.g Guo, he immediately answered it and asked,

"Have you done what I've asked of you?"

"Yes, CEO. Yue Shin had been offered another contract and he decided not to do Sweet Memories anymore. I've already called Director Han and told him the news."

"That's good. Anything more?"

"Si International Corporation is also the biggest investor and producer of the movie. Director Han wants to thank you for your support."

"Hmm.."

" And *cough*, CEO, hmm, ahm, er. –"

"What it is?" cut the impatient Si Weimin as a deep frown formed on his handsome face.

Noticing the annoyance on his voice, w.a.n.g Guo shuddered and then scowled to himself, 'This devil! Why is he always like this?'

"Er, CEO. *cough* Director Han asked if you will still push through with the male lead." w.a.n.g Guo coughed and stammered as he reluctantly asked him – afraid that the devil would be further annoyed.

"Would there be any one more appropriate with the role?"

"-___-'"

'This guy is becoming more and more shameless. How shameless!' w.a.n.g Guo sneered and could only respond with an affirmative answer.

After the call ended, Si Weimin opened Zhou Bingbing's gift without interest. Upon seeing the painting, he was mesmerized with the vivid image of a couple holding hands. Deep longing and love was shown in the painting which caught Si Weimin's picky taste when it came to arts.

He was actually not fond of paintings but because of his love for Xu Jia Li, he made one of the rooms in his house at Spring Valley to be an art room.

He then started collecting paintings – not just anyone's painting but specifically, those of Xu Jia Li's. He had managed to get every single one of her creations which he held dear and placed in his art room.

Every painting had his memories of his love for her – the things he had done for her. He knew how crazily in love he was to her.

His first collection was a landscape painting of Xhuan Jin Province, he knew because he had been to the place. Deep sense of nostalgia overcame him upon seeing the painting. It felt like he was being pulled back to the time when he first met her – the vast greenery, the blue sky, the colourful flowerbeds – everything was picturesque. He couldn't get enough of.

The painting was Xu Jia Li's entry in her department's painting compet.i.tion. He did his best to get his hands to that painting. He knew that he had to make it his. It was memorable for him as all his love blossomed on that place.

Holding the painting in hand, he once again glanced at the masterpiece and there he saw an initial at the bottom part – YYF.

'So the painter has the initial YYF. He must be really good.' Si Weimin thought to himself.

He continued to admire the painting, more especially how good the painter was, for he managed to make the painting spoke with heartfelt emotions and evoked deep sense of longing just by looking at the masterpiece.

'At least that Zhou Bingbing knows what brilliant work this is. I wonder where she got this. It's not like her kind to appreciate such beauty.'

All of a sudden, Si Weimin remembered Xu Jia Li. He was excited to see her. With an energized aura, he changed into a blue suit and called Butler Mo.

"Yes, Eldest Young Master?"

"Put this painting on my art room at Spring Valley."

"Of course, Eldest Young Master. This will be delivered immediately."

"Okay." Si Weimin answered absentmindedly as he took another glance of himself on the mirror. He fixed his tie once again and run his fingers through his hair.

"Eldest Young Master, will you be staying for dinner? Shall I ask Cook Jiang to prepare your favourite dishes?"

"No need, Butler Mo. I have an important meeting."

"Okay, Eldest Young Master."

Si Weimin picked his car key and his phone. He put his hands on his pocket as he went out of the room. Butler Mo could only smile seeing how excited he was.

'Who could have put that smile on that devil's face?' Butler Mo thought to himself, shook his head lightly and called for one of the chauffeurs and a maid to deliver the painting to Si Weimin's house at Spring Valley.

He even saw Si Weimin rode his car with a smile on his face.

'That child..." Butler Mo couldn't help laughing upon seeing his excited face.

Si Weimin started the car, put his ear piece and dialled w.a.n.g Guo's number. Within a ring, the other line answered the call.

"CEO Si."

"Meet me at Sun and Star Entertainment."

"I'm already here CEO Si."

"That's good, then." He ended the call and drove his car faster. 'I hope you still remember me, Xu Jia Li.'
