Si Weimin clenched his phone as he listened to w.a.n.g Guo. He was already in his apartment at Harvest Condominium. He directly went to his study room as he waited for the cctv footages.

After calling Xu Jia Li and making sure that she was alright, he called w.a.n.g Guo to verify what the Royal Night's manager told him.

"I already sent the cctv footages to you… but boss…"

Hearing the hesitation on w.a.n.g Guo's voice, Si Weimin suddenly felt anxious, "What is it?"

"B-boss, you have to see the footages," the nervousness on w.a.n.g Guo's voice was clear.

It made Si Weimin confirmed his fear. He sighed before he bid goodbye to w.a.n.g Guo. He held his breath while his heart beat faster. With trembling hands, he opened his laptop.

What he saw in the footages made his heart sunk. The only footages available where when the woman arrived with the manager but everything after that was all deleted.

It was now clear that what happened to Thomas had something to do with the woman in the club that night. He was resolute that something really happened that night.

He picked up his phone and dialed Ru Tengfei's number. Once it connected, he spoke, "Fei, verify the cctv footages in Beijing Family Hospital two weeks ago and check if you can recover the deleted footages."

"Okay, boss. I'll call you after I checked."

After talking to Jian Ran, Xu Jia Li didn't know whether to laugh or cry from what happened.

Jian Ran told her that it was Producer Zhang who told her to do that. Since it was only Producer Zhang who managed to convince Jay Chou, he wanted Xu Jia Li to come to him and ask for his help once Jay Chou walked out of the shoot.

Jian Ran also told her that no one was behind her except Producer Zhang and the task given by him. She told her that the incident regarding the black paint was only her back-up plan if ever the shoes won't do its use.

However, Xu Jia Li didn't want to believe Jian Ran's words. A mere movie crew like her won't have such guts to pull out such plan. Someone must be behind her aside from Producer Zhang.

Before she left, she made sure that Jian Ran won't speak anything to Producer Zhang or any other person for that matter. She told her to stay calm and do her job as usual or she would send her to jail. The scared Jian Ran immediately agreed. She might be wicked from threatening her but she still needed to find who wanted to sabotage her.

"Miss Xu, how did you get those footages?" Director Han asked when he saw Xu Jia Li walking towards her dressing room. The black paint was already cleaned up and there was no trace of what transpired there yesterday.

"I got them out of luck," Xu Jia Li answered meaningfully which Director Han didn't understand but didn't ask any further.

In truth, Xu Jia Li knew how to hack computer system and cctv footages from the main server. She learned those skills from a friend she met six years ago. Although there were limits in her skills, she still could manage to get such useful information if she needed to.

That skill of her wasn't known by her friends and even Lan Meixu didn't know about it.

Xu Jia Li had dinner with Jay Chou and Director Han that night. Since Jay Chou liked Xu Jia Li, he visited the set and insisted that they went on a dinner to celebrate finding his new model. She agreed which made the man very happy.

They dined at Koppa Bombana and the ambiance was light. She got to know Jay Chou even more. She saw a part of him that he tried his best to hide. Although she still didn't approve of his rude manner, she was able to understand that he was a man that valued his work more than anything.

"You're really beautiful, Miss Xu. I can't help staring at you the whole night. You made me really happy, you know. I'm sorry for judging you too quickly. I hope you won't hold that against me," Jay Chou laughed merrily as he stared at her.

Director Han was clearly pleased as he nodded his head.

She only smiled at him while the naughty Shen Linqin on her side kept poking and teasing her. Since Jay Chou never stopped complimenting her and showered her with praises.

"Miss Xu, let me offer this drink to you," Jay Chou raised his wine gla.s.s to her before he drank it in one gulp.

The dinner went well and after some time, Jay Chou already bid good bye which was followed by Director Han.

The manager of Royal Night Club stared at his computer screen. He was inside his office and the fear he had when he faced Si Weimin still made him trembled.

Earlier, he wanted to tell everything to Si Weimin since he felt like he was trying to twist the truth. How could he ask him when they both knew the truth? He couldn't continue what he was really going to say because he was too scared. He was so afraid of Si Weimin that he couldn't tell him what he wanted to.

'I saw you in the cctv, CEO. I don't really want to say this but it was you who arrived after I left and took the woman out of the hospital.' But instead of saying this, he uttered that the footages had been deleted.

He was frightened that Si Weimin might kill him. That night when he took the woman to the hospital, he really wanted to bed her so after a few minutes, he came back. He lied about not coming back that night.

But he was really surprised to see Si Weimin holding the woman towards the parking lot. He didn't believe what he saw so he called an IT technician to get the footages immediately.

He was beyond shock to see that it was indeed Si Weimin. After getting the footages, the IT technician told him that the footages had been deleted right after he copied it.

He knew that it was Si Weimin who asked for it to be deleted. Then, he checked the cctv footages from the club and compared the clothes. A deep frown formed in his face. The man on the cctv footages wore the same suit. It was really Si Weimin.

His forehead sweated profusely as he copied the footages on his flash drive. Then, he deleted them on his computer.

"I won't say anything, CEO Si. Just don't harm me. Your secret is safe with me."
