"Let's eat now," she called the two men who were busy discussing something.

w.a.n.g Guo and Si Weimin stood at the same time when they heard Xu Jia Li called them. w.a.n.g Guo gratefully smiled at Xu Jia Li, "Thank you, young madam."

They were about to head to the kitchen when the door immediately opened. It was Zhen Nian who carried a paper bag on her hand.

"Li-jie, are you –" Zhen Nian stopped from talking when she saw that Xu Jia Li wasn't alone.

"Nian-mei…" Xu Jia Li didn't know what to say since it had been the second time that Zhen Nian saw Si Weimin in her apartment.

"I bought food for you. Linqin called me to check on you. Manager Lan is busy so she can't come tonight," Zhen Nian spoke before she smiled awkwardly.

"Let's eat. Let's not make the food wait," Si Weimin led Xu Jia Li on the kitchen while w.a.n.g Guo and Zhen Nian followed behind.

"Try this," Si Weimin kept on putting food on Xu Jia Li's bowl. They were already eating and the two single persons on the room had an aggrieved expression on their faces.

Zhen Nian couldn't eat as she stared at the couple, 'Tss! Too much dog food. It's hard to digest!'

She moved her eyes away from the two and accidentally landed her gaze on w.a.n.g Guo who sat beside her.

"What?"

"Sheesh! I didn't look at you on purpose! There's nothing to look at anyway. Hmph! Conceited!"

"I only asked you what and you said too much. Nagger!"

She glared intensely at w.a.n.g Guo which was returned with the same ferocity of the latter. No one seemed to back down. Their staring game continued until Xu Jia Li teased them,

"Hey, love birds! Stop bickering and eat. Ha ha ha!"

"We're not love birds!" Zhen Nian and w.a.n.g Guo answered at the same time. Then, they looked at one another with disdain. Zhen Nian rolled her eyes while w.a.n.g Guo raised his brow.

The two made the night even more entertaining. Both Xu Jia Li and Si Weimin just looked at one another and laughed. They were amused at how good the two hide their feelings.

The four of them enjoyed their dinner with a light and happy heart.

One day later

Xu Jia Li arrived at the shooting location with Si Weimin. She went straight to the made up dressing room while Si Weimin observed the surroundings. Since it was their last day at the university, the entire crews were busy arranging everything. They would change location tomorrow so the scenes should be spot on.

Shen Linqin arrived and helped her with her clothes before the make-up artists arrived.

"Li-jie, I heard that the next location will be a resort. I'm really excited."

"You can enjoy the place while we shoot, Linqin," Xu Jia Li chuckled while gazing at the excited Shen Linqin.

"I heard there's a hot spring there, Li-jie. We should really try it."

"Of course," she agreed as she patted her hand.

Once Director Han saw Si Weimin, he excitedly approached him, "CEO Si, it's nice to see you again. We're almost done shooting the scenes here."

"That's good."

"Will you visit on the next location?"

"We'll see," Si Weimin replied as he moved his gaze looking for Xu Jia Li.

"The shooting is doing well. I think we can finish than the allotted time. It will really help in getting ready for the promotion."

Si Weimin nodded his head as he spoke, "What are the plans for the movie?"

"We will join in the Golden Phoenix award on December and on Star Film Award on January. It will be hard to win on both prestigious award-giving bodies but I'm confident that we will bag some of the awards."

"That's good to hear."

"CEO Si, a commercial was offered to Xu Jia Li and Li Yun. I heard that she declined the offer."

"She did?"

"I think it's the right decision since the fans are pairing Meng Lulu and Li Yun together."

Si Weimin nodded as he gazed at the beautiful woman who was wearing a uniform.

"CEO, we will begin the shooting now," Director Han excused himself as he let Si Weimin sat on the leather stool.

Si Weimin didn't know what to feel but he would always support her decisions.

After Xu Jia Li's scenes were done, Si Weimin decided to leave. But before he did, he walked straight to where she was sitting.

On his way, he b.u.mped into Meng Lulu. He stared at her without expression.

"CEO Si, it's pleasant to see you here. Thank you for supporting the movie," Meng Lulu kowtowed in front of Si Weimin.

"Hmm," Si Weimin nodded in acknowledgement before he walked pa.s.sed her.

Meng Lulu was left standing on her place as she gazed at Si Weimin's retreating form. She felt her heart thumped so fast. She had never felt that way before. There was a sudden gush of pain on her heart when she saw him approached the sitting Xu Jia Li.

Those cold and distant eyes changed into warm and loving as they gazed at Xu Jia Li. She felt a pang of jealousy when she saw him smile that jaw dropping smile of him. She didn't know why she was feeling that way. It was all new.

All she wanted was to be like Xu Jia Li. She wanted to be successful as well, without scandals in her name. She didn't want to be just a 'Liuliang' star with temporary fame.

She wanted to last in the industry. She wanted to be better than Xu Jia Li, if possible. She wanted her name as one of the pillars of the entertainment industry.

She stared longingly at the handsome man beside Xu Jia Li. Suddenly, she dreamed that she was in her shoes. A glint of unspeakable emotion flashed her eyes.

She took a deep breath before she went to her dressing room.
