Recognizing her as their teacher Sunshine w.a.n.g, a group of girls walked over to greet her.
"Good morning teacher w.a.n.g."
"What's going on? Why aren't you inside the cla.s.s? Is the door lock?," asked Sunshine.
"Ehhh…."
Sunshine's brows squinted together as she watched the complicated expressions on her students faces. This was Sunshine's second year teaching so she wasn't as experience as her seniors who been teaching at the university for years. But she was determine to be a good teacher and a good example to her students. She too came from a wealthy background like her students and growing up in the same type of environment she could relate to them a lot easier. And in this moment she recognized the look they all wore. Someone quite influential must have done something. She started to worry thinking something awful must have happen. As a teacher her students were her number one priority so she walked to the cla.s.s door intending to find out what happen. But before her hands could turn the doork.n.o.b, one of the girls stopped her.
"Ms. w.a.n.g wait! I don't think that's wise. Please let me explain what happen," cried the girl.
Seeing the girl's panicked face, Sunshine stop and nodded her head. After the explanation she heaved a sigh of relief that no one was hurt. But groan at the inconvenience. The Hayashi's weren't people someone like her could afford to offend. It was well known that princ.i.p.al Tenzin was a close family friend of the Hayashi's. Sunshine remembered the notice all the teachers received about Haru and Saya. It seemed to be a complicated matter and while she was disappointed that her cla.s.s time was being used to solve personal matters there wasn't much she could do. Money and power talked, that's just the way the world worked. Her family's background and wealth were no match for the Hayashi's so while she deem it unfair for her cla.s.s time to be wasted she still directed the other students to behave properly and leave.
"Today's cla.s.s is cancelled. I will email everyone the cla.s.s lecture notes for today. But for now please leave this area."
Sunshine figured the students stayed behind in hopes of catching some gossip. She didn't miss some of the girls leaning their ears against the door trying to hear what was going on inside. She needed to control the situation before it gets worse. The best thing to do right now is to let Haru and Saya handle their matters privately so she instructed her students to leave the area again, as they refused to do so the first time. This time she reminded them of Haru's authority.
"I know some of you are curious about what's going on inside. But let me remind you that the young master might not be so happy to see you lot out here snooping."
Everyone quickly left as they remembered Haru's temperament. Sunshine left too, deciding to inform the princ.i.p.al of the situation.
Inside the cla.s.sroom Saya continued to pace back and forth in an effort to calm her beating heart. She still couldn't believe what happen. That kiss was too intense and pa.s.sionate. It reminded her of their time together making her blush even more.
'AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH,' her mind screamed in frustration.
Haru stayed quiet, letting Saya sort out her feelings. He continued watching her, his face expressionless. She didn't spare him a glance as she continued her pacing. But after awhile she got tired and she broke the silence between them.
"Haru that shouldn't have happen. That's not going to happen ever again. What was your purpose in getting me alone? What do you want from me?," Saya asked finally facing Haru.
Haru noticed that while she was finally looking at him she kept herself out of his reach angering him beyond measure. He went crazy from missing her for the last two years. She was the one who left him suddenly without any explanation. She broke his heart into tiny million little pieces. But when he saw her again all he wanted to do was embrace her. He wanted to wrap her in his arms forever so that they could melt into one being. His intense devotion and love for her overrode his anger and resentment. Yet when he saw her purposely keeping her distance from him the anger and resentment started resurfacing. But Haru wouldn't let his anger win over his feelings of love for her. He couldn't take the chance of her leaving again.
"Why did you leave? Do you know how much you hurt me? Do you know how much I love you? This past two years even though I was full of anger over your disappearance, I was still yearning for you every night. I woke up everyday with thoughts of you. Wondering where you were? What you were doing? Telling myself I should hate you but not having the heart to."
"How much you love me?," Saya snorted in disbelief. She wasn't going to fall for his pretty words anymore. Who was he trying to convince? Who was he deluding with those pretty words?
"You don't love me, Haru. I don't think you ever did. You just wanted to own me. I once thought your possessiveness stem from your feelings of love for me. But that was just your pride and selfishness. I'm not some subst.i.tute for you to keep and play with while you wait for the real one to come along!"
Once Saya spoke it was like a dam broke and she couldn't stop the bitterness and remorse she felt from spilling.
"I regret ever meeting you Haru. I regret giving you my first kiss, my first everything. I regret falling in love with you."
