The Destined Encounter 70 Chapter 4: Your Voice Sounds Familiar

People's eyes glistens from happiness towards the loving couple who are exchanging toasts and slice of cakes. The groom slowly brought the fork with a big chunk of cake on it to his Bride's mouth which ended up smudging his wife's face with cake's frosting. The Bride smiled awkwardly with her mouth full of cake, then she looked at her Groom with an eyes that's promising revenge. She took of her hand gloves and grab a handful of cake from the plate that her groom is holding only to have it feed to him by her hands which she scattered on her husband's face.

The two of them are still glaring at each other when someone said Picture and almost instantly the frown and glares were replaced by smiles that is ready to be captured by the camera with their face messed up by the cakes frosting and bread.

"The two of them still haven't changed." Aiden commented as he bring the gla.s.s of wine to his mouth savouring the bitter sweetness of it's taste.

"Even at their own wedding day they still bickers and annoy each other hahahaha who would have thought my serious son who has a father complex would be this cute." Chairman Miller agreed.

"Don't let him hear you saying he is cute he will not going to like it very much. You know him he likes to play it tough." There are a lot of things that Aiden learned and one of them is that his brother George was raised to be the man of the family. The way he cares for other people and all specially when it's family is what makes him the kind of guy that everyone would want to rely on.

"Yeah I know." Chairman Miller looked at him. "But so are you. It seem your brother's toughness already rubs up on you. You are now a one h.e.l.l of a tough Omega." Chairman Miller said as he ruffle his son's hair.

"Dad don't mess with my hair." Aiden pout.

"Come on Daddy needs to give a speech." Chairman Miller left Aiden to where he was standing and walk towards the slightly elevated stage to where the Groom and Bride are standing.

"Everyone." Chairman Miller started. "First of I would like to thank each and everyone who have given little of their time to join us in the celebration of My son and now daughter' union. Thank you so much you being with us here today means a lot to us.

Second George and George congratulations my wish for you as your father is for you to keep on bickering, annoy and fight each other for the rest of your life!

Hahahahaha but also don't forget that as you bicker over little things, learn also to understand each other. One of the most important ingredients in marriage is having mutual understanding to each other. If you understand each other then no one can break you apart even if others try.

Annoy each other it keeps the thrill in marriage going but my kids you also needs to learn how to be affectionate to each other. Remember everything that's too much is also not good, learn how to balance things. Learn how to express your self that will show your partner how much they mean to you, never ever make your spouse feel that he or she is alone in this marriage. You should always make each other feel that you are always there for each other cause that's what marriage is all about — being there for each other.

And the Last Fight each other. Fighting and argument is good cause it shows just how much you care for one another. I have read an article before that says a relationship that doesn't have any fights in it is a dead relationship. Do you know why? Because that's the time you lost interest to your partner that you no longer care if he or she goes home early or goes home at all. When one of you starts loosing an interest and the fights becomes less and less and less till there is literally no more fights then that's the time when the marriage starts to crumble. So kids keep on fighting with each other but also learn when to back down, learn when to surrender a fight and learn when to lower your ego for the sake of your marriage.

"Ow come on Dad! Do you really have to ruin the mood?!" George shout.

The crowd starts laughing.

"Anyways Congratulations to My son and Welcome to the Family George." The Bride stand up to give her Father in law a hug.

Aiden smile as he looked at his brother who stand up to join the hug. Though he's happy a slight pinch of pain stride his heart as he remembers the past when he and Lance are both happy. He place the wine gla.s.s that he's holding on the table and run his finger to his left ring finger tracing the ring that his father gave him as a gift. He slightly let it slide and see the ink on his skin that circles around his finger. The only trace of Liam that's left to him. He took a deep breath and put back the ring to it's right place before taking that gla.s.s of wine and finish the whole cup in one drinking. He brought his gaze back to his father who's still on the stage.

"Before I step down from this stage please there is a person I want to introduce to you all. Some of you might have known him but most are still haven't. He just recently came back from his studies Overseas and will stay here for good. Aiden Son can you come here please." Aiden didn't see it coming, but without delay he walked there without a hint of nervousness like it was a common thing to do. He can hear people's whispering and murmuring as he pa.s.ses by but choose to ignore them. Chairman Miller looked at him the moment he got up on the stage and stand next to his father.

"This is Aiden Miller my second son." The crowd went silent with the sudden revelation of the Chairman.

"As you all know my eldest Son George has taken a profession of Medicine which is far from the Business profession that I do have, but I'm quite thankful that my youngest Son choose to take after the profession I pursue to help me with our family business. So effective immediately my youngest son here Aiden Miller will be taking the Presidential position for the Miller's Groups of Companies Construction Firm." Aiden can hear the gasping of the crowd, some gla.s.ses shuttering and once again much louder whispering. He already expected this kind of reaction but it doesn't matter to him what matters is his capability in leading that one business that his father entrusted to him.

"Aiden Son come and introduce yourself to them." Aiden step on the mic to introduce his self to them.

"Good day Everyone, First of thank you for coming to my brother's wedding. G and George Congratulations.

I know some of you already knows me but since most are still not let me properly introduce myself to you. My name is Aiden Miller the youngest son of the Miller household. To those who are in question, yes I'm an Omega but I can a.s.sure you that my second gender won't get in the way of achieving my goals and the company's goals. I'll make sure to deliver more than what is expected. For now I think this will be all, I would rather show you all what I mean than to say it. Thank you." Aiden gave the microphone back to his father.

"Well my son believes in the saying that actions speak louder than words." Chairman Miller joke.

Everyone laugh and enjoyed the rest of the night but there was this one person who is in dilemma looking over his phone thinking if should he dial the number and make that call to tell him or not because it might just give him a false hope. "But it's impossible he's dead and that person looks very different from him. It can't be possible." He whispered to himself and in the end decided to put back his phone to his pocket till someone tap his shoulder.

"Mr. Shun, I'm glad you were able to make it." Chairman Miller said to his long time business friend.

"Yeyeah." Teakyun simply answered, he was looking from the side and the back of the Chairman hoping to get a glance of his youngest son but seen him nowhere around the Chairman.

"So how are you? It has been so long since the last time you granted my invitation I thought you won't be able to make it this time too." Chairman Miller pretending to sulk.

"I'm sorry there are a lot of things going on with our branches located outside the country that we need to fly back there and now there's this problem with the firm we established 4 years ago for the protection of the Omega."

"What you venture to that? Why didn't you tell me?"

"I'm sorry lots of things happened and you somehow slipped out to my mind but if you are interested then it would be great, we need as much help as we can. You see we didn't know that there would be this many of them. At first it was doing great but after two years that's where the problem comes in. A lot of Omegas came in for help, we don't have much lawyers who would willing to handle such cases as you can see they still see themselves Superior to others so helping them is not really an option to them but since we are paying them they don't have much choice but to do their jobs but recently we keep on loosing numbers of filed cases then we found out that most of the lawyers that are working for us actually are making a backdoor deal to sabotage their own Clients into loosing the case. We already gave them what they deserve but right now we are in need of a capable lawyers who share the same compa.s.sion to attain the vision and goals that we have." Teakyun explained.

"Now that's interesting. I want to be part of that too. Now can I still take part of that change you are trying to do?" Teakyun was slightly taken aback that he question the Chairman. For the pa.s.sed four years no one tried to invest and join the Law firm they built upon learning that the main purpose of it is to protect the Omegas from the injustice and unfair treatment of the society from them. Although they do offer service for Alpha's as well the firm is still being avoided by people because it houses Omega's concerns and cases. It was really a loosing business for both Teakyun and Lance, they don't really gain any profit at all from doing this. The only reason that it remains standing is that both Alphas are extremely rich that it can hold out for years even though it's income comes in negative.

"To be honest we don't earn from this as a matter of fact we don't really get an income in doing this. If you invest from us you won't get something in return. Do you still want to continue?" Chairman Miller squint his eyes as if studying the man in front of him.

"Why would you build and law firm business that doesn't give any profit and still continues to operate. You know in the business once a firm doesn't generate income it is much better to declare bankruptcy than to continue to operate at loosing end."

"Remember my wife?" Teakyun asked.

"He's dead now. I blamed my self for what happened to him. Maybe if I have been a good husband I would found out earlier, he might have spared from all emotional, physical and mental trauma which I cause him. But I didn't and there's nothing I can do to turn everything around. I realized there are a lot of men like me who are egoistic stupid b.a.s.t.a.r.d who only thinks about the authority of being an Alpha holds to the point we use it to abuse others. I want to help those Omegas who was hurt by Alphas who were like me." Chairman Miller could not believe what he was hearing but choose not to tackle anything about the man's wife after all he's not one to talk to.

"I'll invest. Send me the proposal so I could sign." Chairman Miller said.

Teakyun bow down to show respect as he said his thank you. "Chairman Miller, may I just ask. That son of yours Aiden, I remember at my party five years ago you said that you only have one son that your dead wife left and that was your child George who just got married but why is it that you have a second child? Ow don't think that I'm prying is just that I'm just curious." Chairman Miller stilled at the question which didn't escape Teakyun's eyes.

"Aiden is my child to one of my mistresses I just recently found out about him. He is a good child that me and my son loves. Why did you asked?"

"Nothing is just..... he sounds very familiar.... someone I knew before but never mind me I was only over thinking maybe."

"Dad."

"Great Aiden come here let me introduce my friend here Teakyun. See this old man still have youngster friends." Chairman Miller said proudly but this caught Aiden by surprise. He was not expecting that his father is friends with Lee's brother.

Aiden extended his hand for a shake. "Aiden Miller nice to meet you."

"Teakyun Shun, likewise."

"Son, Teakyun here actually has a law firm that I want us to take part in. It is actually a firm to help Omega. I think it would be better if you will be the one who will represent us on my behalf. What do you think?"

Aiden was quite surprised to hear that Teakyun will take part in things as this but the idea tick his interest that he just agreed.

"Would it be ok for your son to.... I mean I don't want to offend you but you are an Omega.... They might take advantage of you." Teakyun said in worry.

"Hahaha You are right this decision actually makes me really worry and nervous...."

"That's why I think Chairman that it would be better if its either you or George could..."

"I'm not saying that I'm worried and nervous about my son I'm worried to those who will try to wrapped their hands around my son's neck. Hahahhaa." The Chairman laughed then he looked at Aiden.

"Son don't kill them alright? And if you will end up hurting them what did I ever tell you?"

Aiden gave out an eerie smile before answering his Father. "Don't ever leave an evidence."

"Good Hahaha." Teakyun looked at both father and son confused with what they are talking about.

"If that's your decision then I fully respect. Mr. Miller." Teakyun said. Aiden smiled at him.

"Teakyun let's skip formalities and just call each other's by the first name you are after all my father's friend."

"Ok then, Aiden are you free on Monday to drop by the office so you can also meet the co-founder? The co-founder of the firm is Mr. Lance Montero the CEO of the Montero Empire."

Aiden smiled at him. "Sure I would love to meet the infamous CEO of Montero Empire." Chairman Miller didn't know that Lance was involved in that firm it was too late when he learned about that. So when it was just the two of them he confronted his son.

"Aiden I changed my mind I'll handle that just focus on your job."

"Dad are you worried about me? Lance is nothing to me now. I also want to help other Omega just like me and besides it's not like we will going to see each other. Lance is just part of my past. Past that will never be part of my present and future."

Terrence groin when his units door bell keeps on ringing one after another he got the pillow and use it to cover his ears so he could sleep some more until the ringing finally stops but the peace that Terrence got was short live when someone grab his legs till he drop on the floor from his bed.

"I have been ringing your door bell for 30 minutes now and yet here you are sleeping like a child come on wear something we will go out." Terrence still ma.s.saging his aching back.

"f.u.c.k Lee since when did you come back? And how did you get in?" Terrence asked while he stand up not even bothering of covering his own nakedness.

"Here wear these, come on, move fast." Lee commanded. Terrence wear the clothes that Lee throw at him.

"You're such a mess." Lee looked at the messy bed of Terrence. " Seriously a man and a woman, since when did your taste change?"

"None of your business, come on let's go." Lee just shrug he doesn't want to deal with a grumpy Terrence.

"So when did you come back?" Terrence asked while his gaze is looking outside watching how the scenery changes from one to another.

"Just last night. I asked Dexy to hang out with you that's why I'm here." Terrence tsked. "Lee don't let yourself get too carried away. I mean don't let your world revolve around your lover. You don't need to tell him all the things that you need to do." Terrence said.

"You are the one who taught me that." Terrence suddenly went quiet when he remember the time when he tells everything he does or will do to Chester.

"Well I just realized that it's just pure bull s.h.i.t." Lee looked at him before getting his eyes back on the road, he just choose to let it be for there will be no point in arguing with his friend who has been in a major heart break that clearly till now he can't get over with.

"So where are we going anyways?" Terrence asked.

"You will see." Lee said.

"Well you look more mature I guess this won't turn to any of those crazy things like before." Terrence said. He leaned back to the chair and close his eyes he let the darkness to completely swallow him till everything around him becomes pitch black and the noises around him became silent.

Lee turned off the engine after he parked his car when he looked at Terrence he saw him sleeping so he woke him up but the man didn't even flinched. Lee is getting annoyed that he decided to play a little trick on Terrence. He leaned over near Terrence ear and shout "HELP THERE IS A FIRE!"

Terrence woke up screaming "AHHHHH FFIIRRRREE" while he is struggling to free himself from the seatbelt that as soon as he unlock it he opened the car's door and roll over on the ground trying to put out the none existent fire.

Lee hold his stomach while laughing hard, tears are already forming to the side of his eyes. Terrence stopped rolling when he realized that he was not on fire. While still lying Terrence looked behind to see the person who is laughing hard. He quickly stand and swirl his body on Lee till both of his legs are on Lee's neck and then he drop his body weight to bring down Lee and locked him painfully. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I yield, I YIELD!" Terrence Let him go and got up.

Terrence looked at the place that seems Like a parking lot inside a building but not as big as a building.

"Where are we anyways?" Terrence asked.

"My house, no technically this will be my and my Dexy's house. It's not done yet but hopefully before the wedding it will be finished." Lee said.

"Wait what? You are getting married?" Terrence looked at Lee.

"Yes, I just got engage my Dexy finally said yes to me after rejecting my proposal twice finally on the third attempt he finally said yes. In one condition though." Lee explained as the two of them are walking towards the elevator. Terrence whistle. "Your house has an elevator, for two people who will live here you sure made this house huge." Lee only laugh at his friends comment.

"I shouldn't be surprised you are the kind of person who likes to spend more on the properties such as houses, flats and other stuff. So what's the condition?" Terrence asked.

"We will sign a Prenuptial agreement. He said he doesn't want to have anything to do with my money. At first I was against it as much as possible I want to share to him everything that I do have but he won't say yes if I don't agree and for me marrying him is my priority."

"He's right. Cause you'll never know if a person only marries you for your money." Terrence said bitterly. Lee heave a sighed "Each cases are different from one another, besides what has been taken from you is just a penny. I'm still not convinced that Omega betrayed you for money. Use your mind not you emotion maybe you can see the doubt we have with regards to that. Come we are here." Terrence didn't answer he just looked at the place. They were in the third floor of the house. Lee called it the entertainment room. There are no furniture nor something they can use to sit. Like what he said the house is not completely done yet maybe just a little details, finishing and other stuff. As they walk near the entertainment room. Lee saw the group of people that Lee wave his hand's on.

It was Zeejay, Adrian, Derek and the last person he wanted to see Lance. Ever since what happened years ago, Lance and Terrence became strangers. They never once again speak to one another nor see each other till now.

"Lee I'm sorry but I have to go." Terrence said the moment he saw Lance.

"Are you still going to run? Why afraid of me?" Lance said provoking Terrence.

"On second thought I think I'll just stay here." Terrence sit down with the guys as each one starts drinking.

"You won't be able to go home on your own anyways. Did you forgot, I was the one who got your here." Lee still couldn't get over the fact that Terrence tried to walkout only to realize that he hadn't brought his own car with him.

"d.a.m.n it." He silently cussed to himself which made the other guys laugh too.

"So what's up with you sudden invitation Lee?" Adrian asked.

"I'm engaged and I'm going to get married hopefully within this year. I'm really excited to be my Dexy's husband." Lee said.

"There it is the googly eyes." Adrian commented.

"Yeah it makes me want to poke his eyes out." Zeejay seconded.

The rest gave their congratulations to Lee and the night went on smoothly until when all of them are already drunk and tipsy.

"Terrence what's up with you and Lance? Amongst us all the two of you are the closest so what happened?" Zeejay asked.

"Why don't you ask that good friend of yours?" Lance said to Zeejay.

"Zee tell that friend of yours that he's insensitive and his insensitivity hurts when all I need is someone who can listen to me!" Terrence shout.

"Telling the truth is not being insensitive, drilling some sense is not insensitivity. Tell that Zee to your good friend." Lance retort, Zeejay is getting dizzy between the two who are fighting.

"Enough, enough That's it you two talk your problem now! We are friends for goodness sake! Are you going to just throw it all away because of simple misunderstanding?" Lee was already shouting. He knows that those two are not getting along but he didn't know that it will drag on that long.

"I just want someone who will listen to me. To how I feel but all the people around me never took my side. They don't know how it feels to be left behind." After years of crying all by himself for the first time Terrence let others see his tears.

"I love him but why did he left me? If has a reason then why didn't he came back? One year or two years I can still understand but it has been 5 years now and No Chester came back. I missed him. If he came back at that time even if the child isn't mine I'll still accept it and will treat it as mine but he didn't and all that's left here." Terrence hit his chest to the part where his heart is located. " Is hatred. You can't blame me for feeling it this way." Lance hug Terrence who just cried to his friends embrace.

"I'm sorry Terrence, I didn't know." Lance apologize as he still Pats the back of the crying Terrence.

"Come on now guys we shouldn't be crying that's lame we should be partying and making ourselves Happy." Lee got up and went somewhere minutes later he came back with an empty fish bowl and a pad papper.

"What's with that?" Adrian asked?

"We are going to play."
