Dream Catcher: Immortal Dreams 6 Chapter 6: School Trip?

"It's been a long day, without you my friend. Oh...I'll tell you all about it when I see you again..mmmhhmm", I was humming calmly sitting under a tree. We had our recess and I enjoyed spending time like this alone, reading a novel. I was reading my favourite novel, "The Fault in our Stars", when suddenly, "Who's dead?", I heard a mocking voice behind me and I saw Aiko. Bewildered, I said "Oh! What? Um..no, sorry I mean how come you're here? Weren't you having lunch just now with your friends?" "Uff! Calm down, I just ate a few bites, I'm not hungry. I saw you humming something in English which I didn't understand but it sounded so sad. Did you get yourself into trouble again? Hahaha", she said sitting beside me. "I didn't do anything, the weather is so nice today so I was just enjoying my time and you ruined it", I made a poker face. "Hehehe, look at you. What are you reading?" She asked. "I'll read out my favourite line. Here, listen carefully, Augustus Waters was the great star-crossed love of my life." I read out to her cheerfully. "What was that? I told you I'm not good in English. Wow! You're reading an entire novel in English. I'll preach you from now". She said bowing down at me. "Haha! Don't worry, one day you'll be able to read." I said. " Oh! Its almost time, I must return back to my cla.s.s and also I forgot to tell you, the school trip is coming soon. You should apply for it. Bye bye!" She left with that.

A week pa.s.sed like that, and I didn't see Aiko much in Taekwondo club. Soon the day for school trip arrived and I did applied for the school trip but I wasn't a fan of school trips. Also, I didn't apply for it because Aiko asked me to do so,(just saying) but because Chiyo kept pressuring me continuously. The school decided to take us to Ogimachi, a nearby village place. I was happy cause this place would be peaceful. We were supposed to travel through buses and student council suggested that we should sit according to our respective clubs. I suddenly thought of Aiko sitting beside me. Why am I having such thought? We are not even good friends. Anyways later Chiyo sat beside me and as usual Aiko sat with her group but since Chiyo was her good friend too we sat just behind her. Aiko looked cute in her casuals. Her bob hair with short fringes made her extra cute. Maybe I just was just curious and want to befriend her that's why I was paying so much attention to her. I wondered if she was hungry. I made some rice cakes and I wanted her to taste them. While I was making them I made some extra just with the thought of giving some to her. Awkwardly, I was about to offer her when Chiyo grabbed my lunch box and started munching them, "Yumm..they are so good. Your mom is a chef", she said choking. "I made them myself", I said with disappointment. "What? You made them? Can I also have one?", suddenly Aiko turned around listening to Chiyo's loud voice and asked me. "Ofcourse, why not. You can have all of them." I said and immediately I died inside. I must be crazy. "You can have all of them", seriously Irana, how could you exaggerate like that. Aiko praised me for my cooking but I wasn't even able to look at her.
