                Lapis was in a good mood as she cleaned. She carefully collected dust from the windowsill with a dust cloth. While she was at it, she wiped the window down with a wet rag, then used the dust cloth for the second time.

                While working, Lapis kept glancing over at Lily to see what she was doing. Lily was sitting at her desk, working in some doc.u.ment.

                Seeing Lily's profile, Lapis smiled with a "Fufufu".

                「(Lily-san's reaction earlier, that was definitely her becoming conscious of me♪)」

                When she had touched Lily's hands, Lapis hadn't missed Lily's cheeks becoming dyed red. That had made her happy.

                The beginning went back to when Lapis had just woken up.

                In an unknown place, where she couldn't freely move her body, and didn't know herself, Lapis had acc.u.mulated a large amount of stress.

                Then, Lily had appeared.

                At that time, Lapis hadn't realized yet, but it was unmistakably love at first sight.

                Because she was aware that she didn't have any memories, she tried to confront her own emotions. It didn't take long for her to realize that she liked Lily. In addition, there wasn't any confusion in regards to liking the same gender.

                When they had gone shopping, it was completely a date, in Lapis's mind.

                When on the flying carpet and she discovered her fear of heights, she had clung to Lily as an excuse. But, the happiness that she felt at that time made the fear feel small.

                When returning, Lapis listened to Lily's surprising confession.

                Somehow, she also liked girls more.

                It made her happy. She had thought that she wouldn't be able to pay her back. But, she understood that this was a chance.

                Lapis decided that when they returned, she would go all out.

                And she moved to execute that plan, leading to the present.

                「Lily-san, what are you writing?」

                Lapis, who had finished wiping the window, hugged Lily from behind, who was working in a doc.u.ment.

                Lily's whole body flinched and shivered.

                「L-Lapis-chan! U-um, this is, well, a magic circle.」

                It was clear that she was trembling. Lapis's smiling grew larger.

                「Majik circle?」

                「Right. With the laundry magic tool and the magic bag, they also have magic cirlces engraved on them」

                「Basically, when this majik circle is engraved on an object, it'll become a magic item?」

                「You comprehended quickly, that's correct. …By the way, I also have something I'd like to ask, is that okay?」

                「Sure, that's fine.」

                While her cheeks were dyed, she spoke.

                「Why are you suddenly clinging onto me? Y-you know that I like girls, right? I'll do it seriously.」

                「Eh? Skinship without a reason is no good? Sorry, from now on, I'll try to resist.」

                While thinking that Lily-san is cute, Lapis hugged a bit tighter.

                They stayed in that pose for about 20 minutes.

                Eventually, Lily muttered "okay" and put down her pen.

                「No, I finished.」

                「Really? Good work, I'll bring you some tea.」

                「Thanks. But, one thing before that?」

                Lily faced the detached kitchen where Lapis went and called out to her. From her att.i.tude, there wasn't even a speck of her previous confusion. Rather, she was distinctively colored with confidence.

                While thinking that it was a little suspicious, she replied with "What?".

                「Earlier, when Lapis-chan was hugging me, I had asked two questions.」

                With an expression like 'Two questions were asked?', Lapis tilted her head.

                「The first was purely asking why you were embracing me. The other one was "You know that I like girls, right" (…), …why did you continue to hug me?」

                「!」

                Shoot, Lapis thought.

                But, after a moment of thinking, Lapis gave up and smiled.

                「…hahaha. …Was I perhaps found out?」

                About what, she didn't ask, since it was already understood.

                Lily gave a really happy-looking smile.

                「Yeah, I think so. I don't think there's a mistake about that.」

                「Is that so… …then, can I say it?」

                「Nope. That sort of thing is from the senior, isn't that obvious?」

                Declaring her refusal, Lily once again faced Lapis.

                Lapis also unconsciously repositioned herself.

                「—Lapis. I love you. Please, become my girlfriend.」

                「…okay. I also love you. Please let me be your girlfriend.」

                After confirming their feelings for each other, the two of them approached each other and strongly embraced each other. Because their feelings were conveyed, warmer, more pleasant and sweeter than anything until then.
