Immortal Ki Technique 52 Magic Beast 3 Vs 1

Layfon swung and thrust his spear like a madman. With each strike, he would use his full power, yet for some reason, no matter how hard he hit this Magic Beast he could draw no blood and every wound was only superficial. This wolfs body was simply too tough. Hearing Its leaders commanding howl, this wolf knew it no longer needed to hold back. Layfon thrust his spear forward with a powerful bashing force, however, this time the wolf jumped back. With a greenish glow emitting from its front right paw, it slammed its foot down with tremendous might.

*Bang*

The ground in front of the wolf imploded and sunk in, creating a small ditch a few feet across that swallowed anything in its path a few inches deep into the dirt. Layfon had no time to be surprised as the swallowing ditch suddenly accelerated forward and stretched beneath his feet. Caught off guard, with no firm footing, this small collapse of the ground caused Layfon to immediately become tripped up and he fell on to his back. The wolf, of course, pressed his advantage and pounced on him. Layfon just managed to block his face with his spear and the wolf repeatedly bit down on its handle. Layfon kicked at the beast and tried to crawl backwards but the wolf kept snapping at him. Layfon grew panicked and tried to swing his spear but to no avail. With this wolf right on top of him and its weight and strength bearing down on him, there wasn't much he could do. As the wolf continued bearing down on him, the metallic spear within his hands began to bend inward towards him. Layfon became terrified, he was going to die any second, looking over toward his commander he noticed a terrible sight. His commanders left arm was hanging limply while bleeding profusely, Layfon saw this but still, his commander stood again and began to fight once more. This scene filled Layfon with courage.

(If the commander can sacrifice, then so can I.)

"AHHHHH!"

Layfon waited for the wolf to bite down hard on his spear before making his move.

*Crunch*

The wolf took the bait and bit hard on his spear gripping it tightly between its fangs. Layfon immediately released his spear and with both hands now free, he took both his thumbs and jammed them deep into the wolfs eyes, crushing them both at once.

*AWWOOOOLLL*

The wolf cried in agony but Layfon wasn't done. With the wolf crying out in pain the wolfs mouth had opened and it dropped Layfons spear. Layfon with agile movements rolled forward and caught his spear before it had landed. With a solid thrust, Layfon stabbed his spear into the wolfs open mouth hitting the inside of its throat. The outside may be tough as h.e.l.l but the inside was still squishy. The spear, however, didn't exit out the back of the wolfs head but instead became stuck in its throat. Blood immediately gushed out, raining down on Layfons face, neck, and chest, covering him in hot red blood. The wolf repeatedly snapped its jaws but it couldn't break the spear and continued to bleed out like a fountain, with no alternatives the wolf gave a powerful sideswipe with its paw.

*Bam*

It connected a heavy blow to Layfon's chest, knocking him back several feet, with the spear still in hand, the spear became unstuck and with a great force was flung out of his hands, flying off somewhere to the side. Layfon rolled on the ground repeatedly until his back struck a tree hard and he finally stopped. Layfon began coughing out mouthful after mouthful of blood, his throat burned and he felt that the blow from the wolf had scrambled his insides but he couldn't give up just yet. Struggling with everything he had and while coughing out more and more blood, he barely stood up and leaned against the tree. With a maddening grin on his face, he roared at the wolf in rage.

"IS THAT ALL! BRING IT ON, I WILL NOT FAIL!!"

The wolf lowered its head at this provocation and with ruined eyes felt immense hatred for this pathetic human, listening for where Layfon was, with one quick movement it charged straight ahead at Layfon with its fastest speed. Just as it appeared before him, Layfon's smile grew even larger and he leaped out of the way at the very last moment. The wolf had no time to stop nor did it know to and hit the tree at full speed.

*Thud Crack*

The wolf impacted the tree and broke it in half, the tree came crashing down, killing a wolf, as well as two soldiers who were unfortunately in the wrong place at the wrong time. Layfon laid on his back and struggled to sit up, looking at the Magic Beast wolf, its entire head was bent backward. It had broken its own neck against the tree when it collided. Layfon laughed out loud at this wolf that killed itself before he coughed out a few more mouthfuls of blood. With just the one attack from that wolf, it had thoroughly ruined his insides, Layfon looked at his commander and smiled slightly. As his eyelids grew heavy and his vision blurred, his body grew colder and colder, as he continued to cough blood he thought.

(I did it... commander..... I beat that bastar....)

Layfon's thoughts drifted and everything went black, he was dead. The Magic Beast and Layfon had fought hard but in the end, the two died at each other's hands. Clovis saw this and grit his teeth. Layfon was more than a subordinate, Clovis looked at him as though Layfon was his real little brother. Seeing his little brother die was a 100, no a thousand times more painful than the large piece of missing flesh that was torn from his shoulder.

More and more men were dying left and right and if something didn't change soon than this would simply be a slaughter.

Lowen was dealing with two Magic Beast at once but he was still handling them. One wolf opened its mouth and a ball of flame the size of a fist flew out, this small fireball had no way of touching Lowen though, with a simple sidestep he easily avoided it and then advanced forward. One wolf tried to distract Lowen while the other wolf was trying to approach him from behind. As Lowen raced toward the one in front of him the ground beneath his feet suddenly shifted. The wolf behind him had used earth magic to throw his balance. Lowen could feel his feet being swept off balance, so he quickly jumped 2 feet in the air but as he did, the two wolfs leaped at this opportunity. Normally you'd be basically defenseless while in the air but Lowen had expected this situation. As the wolfs closed in on him, Lowen thrust out his sword, not at the incoming wolves but instead at the ground.

*Shink*

Piercing the ground, Lowen's blade stood stiff and unmoving, with a swift swing of his silver battle hammer, Lowen's body followed its momentum and he launched himself more than 10 feet away. As his body flew, he willed his sword to become flexible and with it, the sword loosened from the ground and wrapped back around his arm, coming with him. Landing, Lowen once again willed his sword and extended it back out into his hand, sharp and ready to go. The two wolves eyed each other in understanding and made a small howl to their leader and the Alpha responded in kind. The Magic Beast fighting Clovis heard this call and hastily abandoned its fight with Clovis and shot toward Lowen with incredible speed. Clovis, however, was not out of danger, as 5 regular wolves surrounded him, neither pushing forward in attack or retreating, they simply stood there surrounding him on all sides as though they were holding him in place. Only when Clovis moved, would they do the same. He stepped forward and they stepped back, he stepped to one side and their movements matched, something wasn't right.

The other Magic Beast joined his 2 brethren and surrounded Lowen on three sides. The eyes of this new Magic Beast began to brighten at a rapid rate and in a flash became as bright as the golden sun, with it, it brought a slight burning pain to Lowen's eyes and he immediately slammed his eyes shut. With his eyes closed, Lowen felt the ground shift once again. All three Magic Beast then lunged at him, the two on his left and right side, leaped at him in the air, while one rushed at him from the front. Lowen though wasn't too worried, instead, he found this to be the perfect opportunity. With his eyes shut Lowen still had superhuman senses, for example, his sense of smell. He could smell all three wolfs approaching him at a rapid rate, the stronger the stench, the closer they were. Not only that, with these wolfs speed, Lowen could feel the wind being pushed aside on the surface of his skin but that wasn't his greatest sense at this moment. Remembering what old man Sid had said.

"Huh, are you dumb or something, hehe, I sensed your earth energy earlier when you fought my statue. Haven't you ever heard the saying, an earth Mage can never be blind, hehehe."

Lowen remembered that and felt the earth energy all around him. Every step that was taken within 50 feet of Lowen he could sense it. The earth energy in the ground, the energy in the dirt in the air and even the earth energy in the dirt on the skin of the Magic Beast. Lowen could see just as good if not better while sensing earth energy. Lowen kept his excitement hidden, as to not warn the wolves of their impending doom but still, it seemed as though the wolves sensed something and wanted to retreat. The distance between them though meant it was already too late. The two Magic Beast that leaped at both his left and right were suddenly shocked when Lowen threw down his hammer as well as his sword. Using his Snake Fist, Lowen's hands and arms twisted flexibly at weird angles and grasped the two by the throats. And as his sword fell to the ground, with a powerful kick, Lowen kicked his blade at the wolf coming from his front. These 3 Magic beast deaths were all at hand when all of a sudden.

*AWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL*

The wind instantly picked up with a mighty howl from the Alpha. With this powerful force, the trajectory of Lowen's sword was thrown way off course and flung into a tree. With its incredible sharpness and the force from the Alphas howl, Lowen's family sword sunk deeply into the tree, all the way to the hilt. The wolf in front of Lowen was thrown a few feet away by this howl and Lowen, while still holding onto the two wolfs, were blown back as well. Even though Lowen was thrown back, with his enemies still in his hands, their deaths were guaranteed. Filling his hands with ki, Lowen used all of his might, imagining the rocks he could crush with his bare hands, Lowen squeezed like a vise.

*Crunch Snap*

The two Magic Beast bodies immediately slumped down, Lowen had completely crushed their throats, they were dead. Lowen took their bodies and tossed them away like garbage, the Alpha seeing this was enraged. Leaping from the giant boulder, its huge body disappeared from sight before almost instantly, it landed in front of Lowen.

*THUD*

The sound of this wolfs feet impacting against the ground gave away how heavy it was, eyeing it up and down, Lowen calculated its weight.

(This beast, at the very least it has to be around 3000 pounds.)

This wolf gave a small howl and its last Magic Beast subordinate rushed over at Clovis and stood in front of him, watching his movements. The Alpha Stood tall and proud in front of Lowen and in a powerful voice the Alpha spoke.

"BOY, WHO ARE YOU?"
