Jade was currently attending to Dexter who was recovering on a bed, she called for their families to help and even her master, but since Dexter loss and got demoted to an inner court disciple she couldn't contact his master anymore. They gathered and used all types of recovery herbs, pills and ointments to heal Dexter but it wasn't helping much.

She has been by his side for a whole week now, it may seem heartless but she was getting extremely tired of taking care of him.

Her once G.o.d-like fiancé was like an ant that can get squashed at any time now.

Jade was having second thoughts about her boyfriend after seeing his pathetic appearance of getting beaten to a pulp by Prince Asher in public, she always thought she would love him to the end but she couldn't help getting turned off after seeing her strong boyfriend seem not so strong anymore.

She started having an even lower opinion of him after he kept showing a depressed att.i.tude after his first loss, he would wake up in the middle of the night screaming about some sort of terrifying dragon and when he was awake he would just sulk in self-pity no matter how many times she tried to rea.s.sure him.

She knows she should be a good girlfriend and take care of him and stick through and help him rise up... which she has been doing for a whole week now, but she was getting tired of treating him like a baby, she wanted a man to protect her not the other way around.

Jade decided to go out for a walk and clear her mind.

Jade was walking in the academy absent-mindedly and soon ran into a tall and strong figure before she could fall backward, a big and powerful hand grabbed onto her shoulder.

Jade looked up to see an transcendently handsome face with silvery white eyes, it was Star G.o.d Prince Asher, the guy who brutally thrashed her boyfriend.

Asher joked.

"Y-ye-yeah, s-sorry about that I was just thinking about something"

Jade stuttered and blushed in contrast to how she wanted her body to behave to the guy who beat her fiancé up.

Asher had a thoughtful expression as he said

"You know...I was wondering if we could train together, my sister called you the Illusion G.o.ddess who was the only G.o.dly Ranked disciple who excelled at illusion techniques. I would love to get better and increase my understanding of them. I heard Dexter is still badly injured, I can give you a divine grade healing pill that will help him out as payment."

Asher smoothly transitioned the conversation and said as he had a charming smirk on his face.

Jade was just thinking about how to get the funds needed to quickly heal Dexter, their n.o.ble families didn't have the ability to get divine graded pills like the six G.o.d Realm Ruling Clans and ever since Dexter made Prince Asher their enemy and loss overwhelmingly, no one wanted to help him in fear of offending Asher.

Jade bit her cherry lips in thought as she knew her fiancé would not like her being alone with another man, especially Prince Asher, but he needed a divine grade healing pill to recover quickly in a month before the secret realm was available and it seemed like Asher was their only chance.

She thought about how all her friends seemed to have a good impression of Asher and how he didn't seem like a horrible guy and it was just helping him out with illusion techniques so it shouldn't be a big deal.

"Sure, we can start after we finish eating lunch."

Jade replied after hamstring her way into thinking nothing will happen with Asher, they soon sat together at the cafeteria after getting their meals.

"Oh my G.o.d isn't that Jade, why is she eating with the guy who beat up her fiancé????"

Voices rang out questioning her motives of being together with Prince Asher which made her face red in embarra.s.sment.

She looked up to see Asher eating confidently and calmly and didn't seem to be affected by the words around him so she breathed a sigh of relief and mimicked him and ignored them.

A deep voice sounded towards them, as they looked over they could see two handsome young men walking towards them

Asher stood up and walked towards his brothers and did some sort of handshake, side-hugged both of his good brothers then went back to sit down

"Oh, it's also lady Jade, what are you doing he-"

Ainsley stopped speaking and looked towards his brother Adam who also had a look of understanding on his face as they stared between Asher and Jade.

Jade quickly defended herself and said with a fl.u.s.tered expression "It isn't what you think, I was going to help Asher with his illusion techniques in exchange for a divine grade healing pill for Dexter."

"No need to explain yourself, we didn't say anything." Adam chuckled.

The 4 of them chattered about miscellaneous stuff before Asher and Jade finished their food.

"Peace out brothers, Me and Jade will start our training together." Asher and Jade got up and took their leave as everyone watched them walk out of the cafeteria.
