The Inheritor 20 Dormitory Part 2

The number '9' was written on the wall of the building. When Quinn went near the door, black card in hand automatically flew from his hands and floated in the air.

Then a light shot from the door and scanned the card. After scanning was complete the card returned to him.

After that the door opened and a middle-aged was standing behind it. He was the butler of the house as he was wearing a black suit which made him look like a butler.

[Greetings, Master Quinn; you are the first one to arrive to '9'. Please come in.] Then the butler led Quinn to a rather large hall.

[Master Quinn those arrive first has the privilege to select their room; here's the visuals of the building.]

Then a ray came from butler's eyes and a virtual building was formed. It was a three story building; ground floor was Main training hall. The main training hall was a common for all of them.

The first and second floor was private residence. First floor was the living room while second floor was private training room. The first and second floor was divided into four equal parts; one can only access his training room through his living room. Or the stairs for private training room goes from each one's living room.

Quinn saw the layout and found that everything room were exactly the same except for views they got from balcony, the two rooms in the back are facing the forest beyond the campus wall while the two rooms in the front were facing the opposite building.

Quinn decided to get one of the rooms that were facing the forest to get good pleasant scenery. After informing that the wants the room in the right corner in the back Quinn went to his room with the butler.

The room was a s.p.a.cious on as it only had a bed and a large closet. Quinn was satisfied with the room and went to check out his private training room. The stair case was in left corner of the room.

Just when Quinn went to the stair the butler stopped him.

[Master Quinn the private training room is locked; it will unlock after the cla.s.ses begins.]

Quinn wasn't offended as he understood that he had to follow rules. He wasn't that curious about his training room as he presumed that it will be the same as the main training hall.

"Sir what's your name? Why is the dorm so empty?" Quinn just asked casually.

[Master Quinn people will address me as butler M9] Quinn just accepted it as he wasn't very keen on the name as the butler was just an android.

[The dormitory is very empty because generally the students will only come in the evening.] Quinn guessed that Blake would have bought him early to flirt with that old lady.

[Master the PI and other energy devices will not work in school campus. The only device that works in the campus is the School Ring it will subst.i.tute your PI. Once you enter the school you will be disconnected from the outside world.

In the entire school dormitory is the only place the energy devices will function. The school ring will automatically deactivate once you leave the school campus. Dormitory is the only exception, you can either you school ring or your PI.

Master Quinn please give your card and show your left wrist where PI is injected. I will transform the card into your School Ring. In the dormitory when you remove your School ring the PI will re-activate. ]

Quinn didn't know if he should laugh or cry when heard that his PI wouldn't work. Quinn just got his PI did not get a chance to explore it, he was planning on exploring more about his PI when was in the school.

Unwillingly Quinn gave his card then butler M9 took his left wright and placed the black card on. Then Quinn lost his connection with his PI, and felt the same connection with the card.

Afterward the black card melted in butler M9's hand and turned into metallic liquid. Then it slowly formed into a ring. Butler M9 gave the ring to Quinn. Quinn had his storage ring on his right hand so he wore this ring in his left hand fingers.

[Master you can change the ring to any color you wish and if you want to use PI then remove your School Ring, it will automatically reconnect. There is information about the school and the dorm in the School Ring.]

After explaining about the School Ring butler M9 went out. Quinn immediately removed the Ring to re-activate his PI. When he was reconnected to his PI he let out a sigh in relief.

But when he saw the PI screen his intestines turned green as all the functions were down due to non-connectivity except video chatting. Quinn felt like he was holding a featured phone with video calling function.

He really felt helpless and thus he wore his School Ring. Just like the butler said it had info about the school. After reading it Quinn felt a frog in a well, it turned out that Natal Dawn School was the first and best School in Unigux.

It had a very long history and enough strength to back its name. Even in the universe it will be comfortably placed in top 10,000 schools. Don't look down on 10,000 as there are nearly infinite amount of schools in universe and getting within 10,000 ranks is a great achievement.

The school was located in the outskirts of Southern Ronadak. Actually the whole school is inside Pregrandis Lake. The lake was filled with small islands to be more precise the school is in an archipelago.

It's a monstrous lake in a roughly circular shape the size of the lake is about 70,000 sq. km. There are totally 10 dorms in the school each with same capacity. The capacity of a dormitory is 16,000 and so the total number of students studying in the school is 160,000.

When Quinn saw the numbers he felt dizzy, he could still not fathom how large this school was. Then there was a bizarre rule of not allowing any devices in the campus.

The explanation for having this rule is that the children growth would be affected by the energy devices and may have severe effects on the future cultivation so till graduation from the school there all fancy magical devices are banned.

Quinn felt tired from reading and hence he decided take a short nap. He slept for few hours and woke when the butler informed him that his other roommates have arrived.

When got down he say 3 kids fighting and scolding each other, well it was funny to watch but Quinn knew that he needs to interfere and stop them. After enjoying the show for some time Quinn shouted. As they were getting a bit out of control, and since they were going to be his roommates he didn't want them to have a unpleasant start.
