The Ghost Dungeon Master 31 The Fight In The Graveyard

On the other end, the gargoyles that were circling like vultures begin their attack on the goblins in doves from all direction as they realized they had been exposed by the recent shout.

Gargoyles that isn't active, all begin shedding their stone skin and grabbing whatever was in front of them, before flying into the sky to join the rest.

"Ahhhh, help me!" as screams and cries echoes throughout the different parts of the goblin army.

"Take aim... Fire!" the leading goblin engineer commanded as the dove of Gargoyles dive attack them. After the command was heard arrows and harpoons were flying into the sky. Since they had more people using harpoons now, as there wasn't a need for the siege weapons, they managed to hit one of the Gargoyles and pinned it down onto the ground.

"Soldiers go forward and killed it, mages save your mana." the goblin lord commanded.

Hearing it's command the goblins soldiers moved forward and strike as cautiously as they could, since the pinned down gargoyle is flailing wildly.

Though the goblins had managed to pinned down a few of the gargoyles they didn't have an easy time as well. Whenever the gargoyles swooped in, they had managed to capture some of the goblins from the formation and dropped them to their death from a height.

As the battle rages on, different commands could be heard shouting all over the places.

As the number of undeads in the graveyard dwindle, the goblins around begin cheering and relax as they to chat a little.

"Yo, it seems a bit noisy in the forest."

"Yea, is the leader going to ask us to go help them?"

"Not sure."

"Hey, enough chatting clear the remaining undeads." the spearhead leader shouted at them.

"Sir, all the undeads are destroyed what do you need us to do next? Are we going back to support them?" one of the hobgoblin came up and reported.

"No, we will stay here and setup a barricade, so that we can support the rest when they arrive. There is also the lord, do you think there is a thing that the lord can't handle?" the goblin knight said to the hobgoblin.

"Alright sir, I'll get the men to start barricading the area." After the hobgoblin replied, it begin handing out task to the other goblins.

~~~ Back at the dungeon master room~~~

After the ghost sent Tempest off to the begin checking his skills.

Realizing that he would need new equipments for these new summons he went into the item shop and purchase, 5 sets of iron armors, 1 bow, 1 quiver and arrows.

Next , he took a looked at the dungeon live broadcast screen and saw that the wild undeads have all been killed in the graveyard level, he then begin summoning the extra zombies and skeletons and begin equipping them.

After he did that, the ghost teleported into the second dungeon together with his undeads and took possession of the wraith knight.

"Neigh" A eerie called from the horse resounded through the graveyard from one of the crypts.

Thinking that it wasn't anything, the goblins carry on with their work as they chopped down the trees to make a temporary barricade.

Suddenly, the group of goblins on the left side of the graveyard were sent flying.

"AHHHH!"

One of the goblin nearby saw what had happened and begin shouting trying the alert the rest of it's platoon, "THE WRAITH KNIGHT IS HERE!"

"Don't panic, he's a cavalry unit, we are pikemen try to remember your training!" the goblin knight shouted out. Within record time, the goblin begin gathering themselves together and form a square formation with multiple spears all pointing at the direction of the wraith knight.

The wraith knight circled around and charged towards the goblins, as soon as it impacted the pikemen, the charged was speared to a halt.

Realizing that he wouldn't be able to continue killing them by charging the wraith knight jumped off his horse and commanded his undeads to come to his location.

"Awooo" a howling sound came from behind the goblin group.

Like a black shadow consuming everything in it's wake, only dead bodies of goblins were left behind.

As soon as the shadow completely pa.s.sed a small black lump was left in the middle of the corpses.

"What's that?"

"Not sure, why don't you go check it?"

After being perked up by it's comrade, the goblin walked up cautiously to the black lump to check what it is. Two little red eyes appeared, and it meowed at the goblin.

Thinking that it was harmless, the goblin dropped it's guard, turned around and said, "Bro, It's a harmless kitten."

The goblin that it was looking at started shivering and pointing at something behind it. As the goblin turned it's head around to look, it could feel something had jumped over it and the kitten it thought was harmless have it's claws right in front of it's face.

That goblin fell face up to the floor with blood sprouting out from it's neck, it's comrade was pounced on by a large black wolf that had instantly killed it by biting it's neck.

"Attack!" the other goblin knight saw what happened an immediately issue a command. With some hesitations the other goblins around were trembling with their swords in hand before following their leader.

"Meow" Kuro sat on top of the dead goblin and begin licking it's paws, hearing Kuro's command the zombie wolves begin rushing in and attack the goblins. Fenrir looks back at Kuro and tilted it's head in confusion, wondering why Kuro is just sitting there. However, after a few seconds Kuro slowly melted and became transparent before it disappeared. Although Fenrir who could feel Kuro around the area, it didn't know what happened as it looked around and gave out short howls.

Kuro gave a short meow in reply, hearing Kuro's reply, Fenrir immediately dodge the incoming strike from the goblin knight that had attacked it from behind.

"How did you?" the goblin knight was shocked as it was for sure it's strike would hit Fenrir.

Fenrir looks towards the goblin knight and snarled. Fenrir immediately took a lower stance preparing to pounce on it. Seeing Fenrir's stance, the goblin knight raised it's shield to prepare for the attack.

Fenrir pounced toward the goblin knight with it's entire body weight causing the goblin knight to be pinned down to the ground. The goblin Knight's subordinate saw what happened and rushes over to help, but before they could use their weapons to attack Fenrir, they realized their throat had been cut, as they dropped to the ground they saw a small kitten landing together at the same time. While Fenrir is ferociously trying to bite the goblin knight's neck, the goblin knight is using its shield with both of it's hands to try and block Fenrir's bite.

Without a commander leading the goblins the entire platoon begin to collapse in mere seconds as some of the goblin begin retreating back into the forest. Meanwhile, the spearhead goblin knight didn't know what the commotion at the back was about, as it was currently in combat with the wraith knight.

"Advance!" the goblin knight shouted as the entire platoon took a step in sync with all their spears pointing straight ahead. With every shout they took a step.

Seeing that the goblins were advancing without a gap in their formation, the wraith knight begin casting his spells, as the skeleton warriors and zombies walked in front to protect him.

Realizing that they would not be able to defend from spells, the goblin knight immediately shouted, "Chargeeee!"

Immediately after hearing it's command the entire platoon charged forward menacingly towards the wraith knight. The wraith knight shot his magic spells to take down as many pikemen as it could, before using it's shield to block the incoming attacks from the spears, as his skeleton warriors and zombies were being pinned down.

Without hesitating, the wraith knight lifted his bone spear and shield and begin using his skill charge at the two goblins that were attacking him. Successfully piercing through the ranks of goblins and ending at the other side of the platoon, the wraith knight turned around and raises his shield and spear. The next moment, Fenrir and Kuro walked up and stood in line with the wraith knight, as the remaining zombie wolves came over and stood behind them. The wraith knight pointed his spear forward and the zombies wolves rushed into the goblin platoon, Fenrir immediately pounced forward while Kuro turn invisible and the ma.s.sacre begins.

Meanwhile on the other end of the dungeon, Tempest brought the undeads down from the stairs, as she began to attack the rear of the goblin army.

"My Lord they are attacking from the rear!" one of the goblin knights came forward and report to the goblin lord.

"Inform the rest, we will pushed forward and try to get out of this foggy forest." the goblin lord commanded as it begin to command the rest of the goblins here to move forward.

As they moved into the clearing, what awaits them was the wraith knight already back on it's horse looking towards them.

The wraith knight scanned through the goblin army, looked towards the goblin lord and said, " What took you so long!"

"I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!!" The goblin lord became enrage as it saw it's subordinates were all dead on the ground.
