Previously on the Kings power:
*"There is a legend that the royals believe in, "The Kings Power" that is what they call it, they believe that whatever is in these tombs, can defeat the darkness if all is collected, but, be warned, these tombs are well hidden among our land, only a very few has been found." Snow's grandmother explained.
---
*"Hereo or Foe? That is what everybody wonders, with her black hoody and soundless black boots, she saves everyone who is in danger. We don't know much about her, or where she comes from, but what we do know is,
she's already got a name, vigilante. She first appeared two nights ago, and it looks like she's going strong. Should we welcome her with open arms, who is this girl, and who will she save next?"*
-----
*"Lets see who is under this hoody," one who snuck up from behind tried to pull of the hoody and reveal Snow's face, but unfortunately for him, Snow knew he was behind her, and before he could even touch her, Snow spun around, grabbed him by the collar and threw him into one of the shop's racks in front of them.

He groaned before sitting upright, Snow could hear him curse under his breath, but she didn't bother to hear what he had to say.
Out of the corner of the room there came a chuckle, "well, what did you expect would happen? You can't go revealing faces that aren't meant to be revealed," the voice said, before stepping into the light, he too wore a mask, but his bright blue eyes shone clearly through the darkness.*

*It's been three days since Yuna pa.s.sed away, and today is her funeral.*
----
*"How have you been doing?" Noctis asked her, when he reached her.
"I'm fine."
"I'm glad." Snow didn't know what to say to him. She could feel the tension between them.
"Listen, Snow, I just want to apologize for the way I've been acting. Before Yuna's death, and then ignoring you after her death. I should've been there for you, and I'm sorry for that." Noctis searched for Snow's eyes. She didn't expect him to do that. She didn't expect anything from him.
"It's alright, I know you've got a lot of things on your plate." Snow smiled a small smile, she missed his friendship.
"I will see you tonight, Snow, then we can talk properly. There is something I want to discuss with you." Noctis told her before moving on to talk with his father.*

*Noctis' pov:
The day before:
Noctis sat in his father's study, with his father and Cid. They have been busy investigating the recent robberies that is occuring all around the city, The Black Vigilante helped catch some of the crew members, but she has been MIA for a few days now, so they can't rely on her to catch the leader of the group. Cid questioned all if them, but turned up with no information. Only one of the guys, with the "too much tatoos" as Cid described, had run his mouth about their little operation. Apperentaly there is, as they call him, "The Big Boss", he is the brains of the whole thing, but he wouldn't give any names. Then there is his right hand man, which we are most interested in, because he is the one in charge when they rob a place. He goes along to make sure they get what they need, and to make sure everything goes smoothly. Other than that, he didn't reveal anything else.
"Sir, I got the report on the robbery that occured three days ago, just like you requested." Cid told the king, handing him a piece of paper.
Noctis' eyes widened, "What robbery?"
"There was a robbery Down Town late afternoon, they only stole food and a few other things needed for basic living." Cid filled him in.
"Why didn't I know about this?" Noctis demanded, looking between them.
"My son, don't you think I haven't noticed how you are losing the only girl you have ever loved, because of this, and even if I have told you, what would you have done. We didn't have the report yet."
"You could have still told me, I will be king in a few months, when you retire, Father, I have the right to know what is going on in my kingdom."
"Yes, you are right, but it is still my choice if I want to include you in things." The king told his son, making it clear he will not argue with his son on this topic.
Noctis hated when his father did this. He wanted to be part of everything. He wanted to show Snow that he can be a king, and maybe one day she can become his queen, but she has to have faith in him to be a good king. His father is right, because he wanted to prove himself to Snow so much, he lost sight on what's important: spending time with her. Instead he was too busy, and that led him to be rude toward her, and making her think that he doesn't care about her or her feelings. Now Nate saw the perfect oppurtunity to come between him and Snow, Noctis thought bitterly. Then realisation struck him, Snow told her friends that when she wandered around, she ended up Down Town where she met Nate, and that was around the time the robbery accured, from what Cid has told him.
Noctis had to talk to Snow about this, she has to know who he might be.

Snow's pov:
Present:
When Snow got home she said goodbye to her grandmother and immediately went to her room. She didn't bother to undress and just fell face first on her bed. It did not take long before she fell asleep.
When she woke up the sun had nearly set. Only then did she undress into more comfurtable clothes, and headed downstairs to find something to eat. When she arrived in the kitchen she found Noctis already making something for him to eat. He turned around when he heard someone in the kitchen.
"So you finally returned back to the living. Welcome." He turned around propping the slice of bread in his mouth.
"I didn't know the crown prince ate bread. I thought you only ate royal food." Snow s.n.a.t.c.hed one of Noctis' pieces of the counter and into her mouth.
Noctis only smirked.
"Well, look at that, you've been living with us for almost a week and a half, and you still don't know me as well as you think."
Snow rolled her eyes before turning to make food of her own.
"Your majesty, the king has requested your presence in his study." The king's right hand man and Commander of all the troops in the Crown City came into the kitchen. Snow only saw him a couple of times, but never talked to him. He had a scar on his left eye, with his head shaved bald. She heard rumours that he was the best fighter of his generation, but has never seen him in action.
Noctis sighed. He finished his bread before following the Commander.
Snow sighed, there he goes again. Always off to royal duties. She finished up and then decided to go train for a while before dinner. She went to the training room and picked up a sword from the weapons rack. She practised her stances and her basics of sword fighting. After a while her mind began to wander.
Snow stood in front of Yuna's coffin. Yuna's hair was loose around her. She was dressed in a sleeveless dress with soft make-up, just like she always wanted. Her burn marks was still covered with bandages, a request made by her parents. Snow thinks it is an odd request, but she respects their wishes, whatever they may be. Snow took one last look at her best friend, a single tear rolling down her face, before she moved away.
Snow saw her knuckles turn white from gripping the sword. She remembered how Yuna's parents cried the whole time. She knows that they don't blame, that it couldn't be helped, but Snow wishes that she could take away their pain.
Then suddenly Snow screamed slicing her sword sideways. She felt energy leave her, and for a moment it was quiet, until Snow heard cluttering and the sound of things falling to the ground. When she looked around her, she saw things were sliced in half. Then she realised that when she sliced her sword, the energy she released, must've sliced the things all around her.
Snow looked at her hands, studying them. She sat on the ground with her legs crossed. Why couldn't she save Yuna? She didn't have the energy that's why, a voice told her. She tired out her abilities too quickly, and strength has a role in it too, because how stronger you are, the longer you can fight in battle and the more energy you have to use your abilities. Snow sighed, she went to lay on her back, spreading her arms next to her. She looked up to the ceiling. After all the training she put in on her own, and with Noctis, it still wasn't enough. She could still not save a person she cared about. Will she ever be strong enough? Snow closed her eyes.
Yes. I have to. I have to master all my abilities. I have to become stronger to protect my family and friends, I can't go through this again. I have to. For Yuna, because she would want me to live up to my full potential, and I don't know how yet, but I will obtain the Kings Power and stop the demons that roam this earth.
Snow got up with fierce determination. I will become the best warrior just like my mother.
"Miss Snow, I'm sorry to interrupt, but the food will be ready in an half an hour. I just thought you would like to know." One of the servants told her.
"Yes, thank you." Snow cleaned up before heading to her room to shower before dinner. I guess the training will have to wait, Snow thought.
Snow quickly showered and dressed into more appropriate clothes. Then she made her way to dinner.
