If becoming an apprentice wizard was a process of acc.u.mulating mental strength and stimulating runes, then becoming an official wizard was a whole nother ordeal.

To become an official wizard, one needs to compress their mental power to a point where it implodes inwardly creating a mental s.p.a.ce

And in this mental s.p.a.ce, a rune can be inscribed on it serving as a natal rune, somewhat similar to Elric's soul inscription but for they who didn't have an A.I chip to do it precisely, it is much safer.
