Chapter 52: We Surrender!

"Come out! Come out!"

"You demons have been surrounded! Put your hands behind your head!"

Inside the mansion, Elric and the rest could hear the voices of the inquisition team getting closer and closer, it seemed they were about to break in at any moment

"Young master, what is going on?" Asked Davis as he noticed the wrong expressions on Elric and George's face

"Davis, Alvin, you might want to look at this"

Not in the mood to talk, Elric directly handed them the wanted notice

And just as he expected, upon reading through it, their expressions Immediately became the same as his.

"d.a.m.n! When did we become demons!?"

Looking at the papers in their hand George scolded fiercely as he couldn't help but want to tear it.

"Calm down George, however young master, what should we do we're surrounded!"

"And if we try to escape, the other clans men would surely be executed tomorrow!"

After trying to appease George, Davis quickly pointed out the crux of the matter

Hearing Davis words, everyone Immediately realised they seemed to have few options

Just as they were about to continue discussing a solution to the matter, the shout of the inquisition team sounded again, at this time from the tone of their voice it seemed they were about to run out of patience

Immediately before they could react, a group of about a dozen men stormed into the building meeting them head-on.

Wearing a white cape with a large cross sign on it, and holding a cross-blade sword in hand, his dark skin and b.i.t.c.h black eyes made him look extra fierce.

"Demon! Do not resist! On the orders of his highness and my lord the G.o.d of light, you are hereby to be arrested and purified!"

As he spoke, the blade in his hand seemed to glow with white light as if it could wait to decapitate Elric's head off

"Haha I think you've got the wrong person, why don't we sit down and discuss this over some wine?"

"Afterall, I for one have never harmed anybody, not even a fly or the smallest ant, who knows we might be able to help you find the real demons"

With a slight smile on his face although worried, Elric tried to stall for as much time as possible while he figured out a solution freew(e)b

Thankfully Davis on the side seemed to have guessed Elric's intention

"Yes yes, I'll go get some wine"

Saying that he was about to leave the room to go get some

Unfortunately just before he was able to take a step, the inquisition team head quickly slashed out a blade of light from his sword in Davis directly

Hearing Micheal say this, Elric couldn't help but be stunned at how someone can say something so shameless so calmly

Thinking of how he obviously slashed the sword toward Davis and turned it into an automatic attack on demons Elric couldn't help but be left speechless,

However, rather than admire his shamelessness Elric had more important things to do.

"Okay Michael, I understand what you mean however can you give us a minute to discuss"

Taking a deep breath, although Elric had somewhat thought of a plan however he still needed to inform George and the rest

"Sure however you have to make it quick, who knows if my sword might automatically attack again"

Although he said that with a smile, Elric could still fill the threat in his tone

While angry at being threatened, unfortunately given the current situation and his plans Elric could only hold back even though he wanted to force-feed him a fireball so badly.
