Adam Black The Grand Sorcerer 4 Chapter 3

I had learned the signs of abuse from a book a few weeks ago in my previous life, flinching every time someone makes contact, being unusually shy, all of those warnings were all something she had.

I was a lucky one but I guess she wasn't.

I think it is time for me to interfere more. I will try to get her out no I will get her out of her sh.e.l.l get her away from the Dursley's, but first I must get my wand and my pet first.

Although I myself don't necessarily need it. It is mandatory to get one for Hogwarts.

I had just entered Ollivander's where I had met my mother who had informed me that Draco and Dad had already left.

I noticed a small distaste in her tone of voice, it seems that My mother shares the same sentiment as me to the rest of the family.

???- "Well h.e.l.lo there young lad"

I calmly turned my head towards a person that I'm guessing to be Ollivander, he looked quite surprised

Adam-"h.e.l.lo, I'm guessing you must be Mr. Olivander?"

Olivander smiled.

Olivander-"Indeed I am, I must admit I am surprised. I thought you'd be startled and reach out to attack me.

Adam- "Always expect the unexpected"

He looked at me curiously

Olivander-"indeed, "

He turned towards my mother who looked at him impatiently and said.

Mother- Yes, yes we noticed, May you do this quickly? We are in a bit of a hurry."

Olivander- "Of course madam"

He turned back me not offended in the slightest.

Ollivander-" Well now Mr. Malfoy, let's see"

He pulled out a long tape measure with silver markings.

Olivander- "Which hand is your wand arm?"

Adam- "I use both hands but My right is the dominant one"

Olivander- "I see"

Olivander stepped forward and began measuring me from every inch of my body, from shoulder to finger wrist to elbow shoulder to floor, knee to arm put and around my head.

Olivander- "Every oliver wand has a core of a powerful magical substance, we use Unicorn hairs, Phoenix tail feathers, Dragon heartstrings .none of Olivanders two wands are the same."

He then went to the shelf and started pulling down boxes.

Olivander-"Yes this will do"

The measuring tape crumpled onto the floor in a heap.

Olivander- "right then Mr. Malfoy try this one breach wood and Dragon heartstrings just take ut and give it a wave."

Adam- "ok"

I did exactly what he said. *Crack* The wand split apart.

Olivander looked on in astonishment.

Adam- "uh"

Olivander -"How unusual"

Ollivander took the broken wand from me and started a.n.a.lyzing it

Adam- "What's unusual?"

Olivander stopped hat he was doing and looks at me.

Olivander- "Your magic, is far too dense to be able to use a wand."

Adam- "dense?"

Olivander- " Yes, your magic it's extremely rare but you occasionally find magic users with extremely dense cores."

Olivander put the broken wand back into the box.

My mother suddenly stood up she looked alarmed.

Mom- "What does that mean for my son?! well he still is able to attend Hogwarts?"

Olivander shook his head

Olivander-"no-no it just means he requires a different focus hold on for one moment." Ollivander went away.

Adam- " I am suddenly very relieved that Draco is not here, do you know what he'll say if he was?"

Mother scowled

Mom- "Unfortunately yes, honestly where did I go wrong with that boy? A Weasleys more Slytherin than him.

I decided not to mention that it was mostly dads fault for spoiling him so much.

Ollivander came back with a slightly strange but very familiar magic sword.

Olivander- "Here you go forgive me if its a bit rusty it's been sitting on a shelf for a long time."

I reached out and grasped the sword by the handle, did a couple of practice swings

"Sword form modified: Dagger and instantly it glowed, shifting to a silver dagger with a golden handle It fit perfectly in my handle.

Olivander stared as I did a couple of practice swings while grinning

Olivander- 'after all these decades I finally get to see what it does, intriguing indeed.'

Olivander got himself together and said

Olivander-" You should probably change this into a wand now So people won't be startled about a kid with a blade."

[Form Modified: Wand!]

The sword glowed before it turned back into a wand.

Adam-"Huh,"

Olivander reached out and took the book from his shelf and handed it to me I looked at him as he said.

Olivander- "Here's an instructions manual I suggest you figure this out before accidents happen."

Adam- "oh ok, thanks"

I grabbed it from him.

Mom-"Alright then son come along we must hurry"

Adam- "Thanks again Mr. Ollivander"

Olivander - "Anytime"

After that, they both payed for the wand before they left the wand shop and headed towards the next stop.
