Tendrils of red and black demonic energy swayed over to him but were pulled back into the skulls before they could get too close.

Hao Xuan's thoughts were running wild as he conversed with Baracus trying to find out what was happening.

'Baracus what the h.e.l.l is going on? Why can't I invoke my Law? Or even move a finger?!'

'No foreign elements detected within the bloodstream. No foreign energy was found within the host's body. Most probable cause: Black Magic!'

'Black magic?? This motherf.u.c.ker cast a spell on me that quickly!? I have never heard of a spell that can stop a Law from being invoked. It's doing three different things by also disabling my physical form and freezing my internal energy! How the h.e.l.l is this even possible??'

'Unable to answer. There is not enough information about demonic lifeforms within the database.'

Meanwhile the Capra demon was at the end of its tether waiting for Hao Xuan to respond to its one-word queries.

"TUSK!"

"GIVE!"

"KILL!"

It screamed over and over again until it couldn't take anymore and by using the blunt end of the bone spear it began to hit Hao Xuan in the stomach.

"TUSK! GIVE!"

And despite all the pain Hao Xuan wasn't even able to scream outwardly.

'Motherf.u.c.ker! What do I do now?! At this rate I'm going to die to this little c.o.c.ksucker! And it's not even that strong, just this one stupid ability will be the end of me!'

And while he was busy getting his face kicked in Baracus was running simulations on different ways to get out of this sticky situation. Thankfully it only took a few seconds to come up with one that wasn't all that terrible.

'Possible Solution: Use the power of the Lycan bloodline to counter its ability.'

'Do you think I haven't tried that already?? I can't even feel my face let alone control any part of myself. It feels like my brain has been quarantined from the rest of my body.'

'With permission from the host the system can try and manually activate the bloodline.'

'Manually? What does that mean? ARGH!'

The Capra demon started putting in more and more effort trying to beat the answers out of him, not even realizing that he couldn't answer back because of its powers.

'It can be done by using the nanites to induce required conditions within each blood cell separately. The process will take significantly longer and will not be as efficient but host should regain some level of control. Continue?'

'Yes for f.u.c.k sake, do it, I give permission! Start from the face so I can talk to this stupid piece of demonic s.h.i.t!'

On Baracus's command the nanites from all over Hao Xuan's body began to congregate towards his face where they started zapping each and every blood cell individually to mimic a neuron response.

As expected it started to work but the process was even slower than what Baracus had expected. It took over thirty seconds just to free Hao Xuan's mouth.

'You should be able to speak now.'

Hao Xuan tried and by some miracle it did in fact work, albeit barely. He could not open his mouth or even yell, only left with the option to basically talk 'loudly' through gritted teeth.

"Stop...stop hitting me. I will...give you the tusks back..." he muttered in the most monotonous tone of voice imaginable.

"Listen to me...you stupid demon..."

The Capra demon finally heard him through the sound of beatings.

"TUSK! GIVE!"

"I will give just...free my hand...I can't do it without it..."

Its face visibly contorted in confusion as it looked at his hands.

"HAND?"

"Yes...free hand, then I give," he gestured with his eyes which somehow made it even angrier.

"GIVE TUSK!"

Hao Xuan was on the verge of tears but he couldn't cry even if he wanted to. All he could do was speak in a moderately loud but emotionless voice like a robot.

"Stop...listen to me...I need my hand, you understand? I can't take it out...without my hand...it's in my storage s.p.a.ce..."

It paused for a moment upon hearing the mention of a storage s.p.a.ce. It checked his hands, neck, and ears for any jewelry but found none.

"I don't have...a storage ring...it is inside me...you understand? Inside of me..."

The Capra demon pointed the spear at his chest readying to strike.

"NO! Listen...to me...you can't take it out...by force...kill me and they...are gone..."

He said a few other words that the Capra demon probably didn't understand but finally it caved in.

It used the bone blade to expertly cut off most of the ligaments in his wrist so even if he wanted to attack it wouldn't be possible.

And if Hao Xuan did not have Baracus at his side the demon's plan would have worked.
