Elder Gyrom had not only been killed but because this Yellow Goblin had evolved into a Red Goblin soon afterwards they could not lay a finger on him anymore.
A Red Goblin was considered a very valuable a.s.set to the tribe and whenever one was born they were treated as such.
Should a mere green or yellow goblin dare to kill an Elder Red Goblin of the Tribe the crime was punishable by the entire execution of the floor level.
Gorb.u.m thought to himself, how this Ja'Hack had only gotten away with it due to his evolution into a red goblin a loophole in Tribal Law!
If they had let Ja'Hack survive as a yellow goblin and word had caught wind to any of the lower floor levels they would have all paid the price for his actions.
This sense of disparity between them was something deeply ingrained into every Green and Yellow Goblin in the tribe.
For most goblin warriors the tribe came first before anyone or anything its well being was essential for the continued survival of the Goblin Race in the Dark Forest.
Not a single goblin here would even consider the thought of killing let alone attacking Ja'Hack now that he was an Elder Red Goblin.
He had the strongest claim to the t.i.tle of Elder on this floor level, even among Gyrom's sp.a.w.n.
If he was still a yellow goblin he would have been chased out or killed on the spot immediately for daring to kill an Elder.
But as a Red Goblin Ja'Hack had become not only immune from punishment.
But he had prospered from the situation unintentionally moving up in the tribe rank as an Elder a group second only to the position of Chieftain.
The position of Elder was his by default there were none here who could challenge his claim.
Not even the most skilled and bravest of Goblin Warriors here would dare go against Tribe Laws to avenge Gyrom.
Gorb.u.m would also not dare to lie about witnessing the challenge issued by Gyrom and Ja'Hack or find any reason to offend his new Elder.
To Gorb.u.m the tribe was above all else including his life he was a loyal goblin warrior to his tribe and loyal to his Chieftain.
Gorb.u.m: (" Oh Elder Gyrom To Think You Be Usurped By Such A Crazy Goblin! Bwoo-Hoo Bwoo-Hoo.. " )
Gorb.u.m was the most fearful of Ja'Hack and after today his fear of Ja'Hack was as endless as an ocean.
Gorb.u.m had feared Gyrom greatly and too see him dead and beaten in his current condition made his fear grow towards Ja'Hack.
Gyrom's sp.a.w.n were all meager Green Goblin's they had no right to claim there late fathers t.i.tle of Elder.
Even if they did tried they were still far too weak to even succeed at a challenge against that monster.
Gorb.u.m had loyally served Gyrom his entire life like his father and grand father before him.
He was one of Gyrom's few true supporters among the floor level and felt a strong obligation to protect his next of kin.
Right now his son Gyron was being too emotional and was lashing out at the new Elder a crime punishable by death or exile.
The risk Gorb.u.m was putting himself in order to stop and save Gyron was great.
He needed to act now if he had any hopes to save Gyron let alone survive this situation himself.
Gob.u.m feeling that there was no other options chose to forcefully knock Gyron unconscious and let him cool off before greeting the new Elder Ja'Hack.
Gyron: "GORb.u.m YOU COWARD! YOU PATHETIC TRASH! LET ME GO! AND KILL HIM! KILL HIM! NOW!"- (*Pow!)
Gorb.u.m whacked Gyron across the head knocking him unconscious and beckoned the goblin warriors holding him down to take him to his room.
He needed to be watched over until he cooled off.
Meanwhile every other goblin warrior in the room was bowing to there new Elder.
All except for one, a certain female Goblin Warrior named Gyra who was still standing tall seemingly unattached by the crowd's reaction around her.
Gyra had been standing still, staring at Jack dumbly with her mouth agape drooling as she watched him.
The initial shock of seeing her father dead angered her however she had a complicated relationship with him and was not as emotionally attached to him as Gyron.
She had been too distracted by Jacks newly enlarged appendage during his evolution to a red goblin to react accordingly to the situation at hand.
Gyra dozed off for a few seconds forgetting why she was even here in the first place getting lost in her delusions.
Until her brother Gyro nudged at her and reminded her of the situation he angrily whispered at her to bow.
Gyro: "Sister Bow Down Quick."
Gyra blushed madly and immediately bowed down alongside the other goblin warriors.
Gyro felt more angered that his dear sister was gawking at some other goblin than he was at the death of his own father Gyrom.
Her relationship with her brother Gyro was incestuous in nature something that was quite frowned upon by the other goblins.
The secret was widely known throughout the first floor level, but was a subject of taboo so it was never spoken publicly.
Anyone caught speaking of the taboo would be immediately burned to death by her father Gyrom.
Gyrom would not tolerate any disrespect to his name or bloodline to maintain the image of a strong and fierce Elder.
He cared very little for his children and if they served no use to him, they were tossed to the side and neglected like Gyro and Gyra.
Even Gyron who was his most pampered child was nothing more than a tool of power for Gyrom.
The other Goblin warriors had a gleam of hope in their yellow eyes they were all scared and intimidated by Jack and his new form.
The comparison between themselves and Jack was as different as the ocean and sky.
They looked puny and weak before such a huge and hulking goblin.
Many of the goblin warriors secretly felt relieved to see Gyrom dead.
Which goblin among them had not suffered any kind of injustice at the hands of Elder Gyrom.
Many of their friends and loved ones had been set a flame by the cruel fiend Gyrom so to see him dead brought sinister glee to there putrid hearts.
However when they took a better look at Gyroms beaten and mangled corpse they worried if this new Elder would be more vicious and worse than the one before him.
They all wondered what kind of Elder this new Red Goblin would be, would he usher in a new era of prosperity or drag them even further down into s.h.i.t,
Gyrom was a cruel and ruthless Elder who had ruled his domain through fear and intimidation, would this new Elder be any different?
This question lingered in the minds of the the Goblin Warriors present.
Jack was confused by the scene before him he had simply come to kill Gyrom out of revenge and spite to relieve the deep grudge burned into his heart.
Jack had no real drive or motivation to do anything like become a ruler he was a simple person who moved according to his desire and feelings.
If not for Plum's influence he would simply go along with the flow of things and hope for the best.
Jack wanted nothing more than to go home and see his dear sister again he wanted to be human and live the normal life he was suppose to.
But even this desire to return to his human body was being slowly twisted and tainted by Plums constant manipulation of his mind and spirit.
The more time Jack spent here the less he wanted to go home, he was beginning to grow accustomed to this strange and hostile world and enjoyed his time here.
Jack took s.a.d.i.s.tic joy in his power trip.
His new desire for power was something he could never have achieved as a mere human boy only being something he desired in his most desperate times of need like the Dark Room.
That feeling of helplessness and being powerless was something Jack never wanted to go through again he needed more power to prevent this.
Jack couldn't help but feel like his brain was becoming a convoluted mess of opinions and ideals.
His desires and personality felt mismatched and contradicted one another at times, whenever he thought too deeply and questioned his actions and morality.
It was not until Jack heard Chuck's calm and soothing voice comfort him that he was able to relax and clear his mind of any useless thoughts or problems.
Chuck: " Shhh Shhh there, there Jack everything's gonna be just fine partner. "
It was as if all his doubts and worries vanished and he returned to normal in an instant afterwords...
Gorb.u.m was the first to speak up, he was the only one who knew enough about the situation to fully grasp it.
He asked Ja'Hack if he was okay in a concerned yet nervous voice.
Gorb.u.m was unsure of why Ja'Hack looked in pain for a few moments before returning to normal just now.
But thought that he might have suffered some injury while fighting the previous Elder Gyrom.
Gorb.u.m: " Elder You Okay!? "
Jack: " Elder? You talking to me? "
Although he was very hesitant to say his name it was essential for the Elder of this floor level to be known by all the Goblins.
Gorb.u.m tried his best to properly p.r.o.nounce Jack's name but still managed to fail because it was still too foreign sounding.
Gorb.u.m: "Ah Elder Ja'Hack Please Let Gorb.u.m Explain."
Jack heard the familiar voice and recognized it to be that of the Goblin Guard he was chasing down earlier.
Jack: " The f.u.c.k did you call me? You wanna Die a.s.shole? My name is Jack! Not JHack! "
Gorb.u.m: "Eeek!, Me Sorry JHack."
Jack: " Grrr… (*Sigh), Forget it what do you want? "
Jack: "Wait did you say Elder JHack!?"
Gorb.u.m: " Yes! Yes! Elder Ja'Hack is new Elder, Gyrom Dead So You Elder Now. "
Gorb.u.m spoke with the utmost respect he could muster and tried to maintain a calm expression as he conversed with Jack but still panicked and frantically spoke.
Jack: " So that makes me like your new Boss right? "
Gorb.u.m: " Boss? What is Boss? "
Jack closed his eyes and looked down as he grabbed his nose with his huge right hand trying to communicate properly with this illiterate idiot while maintaining his patience.
Jack: "You're Leader that's what a Boss is , I'm your new leader right? "
Gorb.u.m: "Y-Yes! Leader! You Leader! Ja'Hack Is New Boss Of First Floor!"
Jack: "First Floor? Whatever drop the Elder part too. From now on you will only call me Boss you got that. "
Gorb.u.m: " Yes Boss JHack! "
Jack: "No, No, No Not Boss JHack! Just Boss Okay?"
Gorb.u.m: " Ah Yes Boss!"
Jack: " Good I'm glad you understand now. "
Jack smiled and felt a little relieved he wasn't sure exactly how he became an elder after killing the last one.
But somehow it had all worked out in the end and he was the new Elder Leader of the Goblins in front of him or whatever.
The details were a little fuzzy to him right now so he was going off the a.s.sumption that he was the king of all the goblins inside the cave now.
Jack was completely oblivious to what the floor levels were and the existence of a Goblin Hierarchy residing just beneath him.
Jack was a little worried when he saw the whole group of Goblins approach him at first.
He didn't think he could take this many armed goblins all at once and contemplated making a run for it upon their arrival.
But the situation took an awfully weird turn and Jack could only move along with the flow of things and hope for the best now.
The reason he made such a big deal about being called Boss and only Boss, was because it was getting annoying to have to correct his OWN NAME all the time.
Every time one of these idiots tried to p.r.o.nounce it they would call him Ja'Hack instead and it annoyed him to no end.
Jack wondered if this is how those foreign kids feel whenever someone tries to say there name in cla.s.s like Jesus or Rui Hao and totally mess up the p.r.o.nunciation.
Jack needed to test out his new skill and deal with these guys later he lacked too much information on the world around him and could not help but feel lost at times, like he was right now.
Jack decided to make up an excuse to be left alone for the time being and learn from his cannibal collector skill.
He had trouble thinking of something convenient when out of nowhere something popped in his mind.
Jack fixed his posture still standing bare b.u.t.t naked, but tall and proud among the crowd of bowing goblin warriors in front of him.
And with a loud and confident voice he spoke to them as a someone in charge would leaving no room for opinion or debate.
Jack: "My name is Jack! And from now on I will be your new Elder! You will all call me Boss or Die!"
Many of the Goblin warriors paid very close attention to the threat at the end and audibly gulped.
The Goblin warriors thought very carefully about each word coming out from his mouth.
They had never heard such a strange word before this "Boss" and this new demand to be addressed as only Boss or face death felt a bit drastic to them.
They were already starting to dread the rule of the New Elder by the absurd and strange demand he enforced.
Jack: "And as your Elder my first order is for all of you to go back to sleep!"
The goblin warriors and Gorb.u.m looked on at Jack in confusion and felt that his order was too strange given the current circ.u.mstances.
Could they have misheard him they all thought.
Given the brutal way he had disposed of a powerful Elder Goblin like Gyrom no one wanted to test this new Elder's tolerance and ask a question.
None of the Goblin warriors had pre-dated Elder Gyrom and did not know how the selection of a New Elder should pan out.
They all a.s.sumed it would be some grand event with a huge feast to introduce a new floor level Elder.
Some among them were even disappointed by the lack l.u.s.ter order and expected more of a new Elder's introduction as a ruler of a floor level.
But they all felt that this was too abnormal and unorthodox to be this simple and underwhelming.
Every goblin except Gyra thought this, she was still mesmerized by Jack's imposing and strong figure.
Gyra had never seen such a goblin in her life look as strong and tall as Jack was now.
Let alone one that had such a large manhood, the average size for most green and yellow goblins being only 3 inches to 4 at most.
She completely ignored Jack's words and was too involved in her fantasies to take in the seriousness of Jack's absurd demands.
A switch in Gyra's brain had been turned on both metaphorically and physically she was too lost in thought to pay attention to the world around her.
Gyro noticing her strange behavior became increasingly jealous over his sisters actions and became annoyed at how she wasn't even paying attention to the situation or him!
Gyro clenched his fist, he felt insecure and insignificant when looking at Jacks G.o.dly physique and large d.i.c.k.
He vowed then and there to one day cut it off and force feed it too Jack before killing him and becoming the new Elder.
Gyro wanted to prove to himself that he was the better man among them.
He denied his insecurities being the cause of his animosity placing his vengeance on the justification of avenging his dead father Gyrom.
If Gyrom could learn of his sons twisted logic for avenging his death he would have personally jumped out from his grave to give his son a good beating.
For daring to avenge his death and justify his actions on something as ridiculous as Gyro's insecurities.
Gorb.u.m: " Boss You Sure? You Not Want Gorb.u.m To Get Tribesman First? To Meet Boss? "
Jack: " Hmph! Tell everyone to gather here tomorrow morning for that. "
Jack: " Right now I want all of you to go back to sleep! "
Gorb.u.m: " But Boss. "
Jack: " But Nothing! And don't bother me until tomorrow morning. "
Gorb.u.m: " But- "
(*Slap!)
Jack: " You Heard Me Now Scram! "
Before Gorb.u.m or any of the other goblins could speak Jack picked up Gyroms head in one arm and used the other to drag his limp and contorted body into his Cave Room disappearing behind the crimson stained drapes.
He left no room for questions and continued on with eating Gyroms brain.
Jack dragged his body along with him because he was extremely hungry after evolving and needed to eat.
Gorb.u.m was stunned for a moment before turning back and walking away he was the first one to leave.
After being humiliated like that in front of all his Goblin brethren he was done for today.
Gorb.u.m felt exhausted and wanted an end to his terrible bad luck and fall asleep as soon as possible returning to his cave room.
Gorb.u.m did not utter a single word and only left silently as his figure disappeared into the dark cave tunnel.
The rest soon followed after discussing amongst themselves quietly as to not disturb Elder Ja'hack.
They all had mixed opinions and when they returned they would spread word of what had happened to all of the goblins in the floor level.
Only Grya remained bowed down with a sad look on her face as she stared at the spot where Jack disappeared too behind the drapes.
She wanted a piece of that fine red a.s.s and day dreamed of having him one day.
Gryo noticing this bit his lip in frustration causing it to bleed as he dragged Gyra along by the arm with him.
Gyro: "Come Sister We Go."
Soon every goblin had left but Jack still waited until all the echoes in the cave faded into complete silence before beginning...
Jack was finally alone.
