Life Hunter 47 ''To Destroy You Of Course''

Arima gritted his teeth and the slaughter intent was retracted, he succeeded in restraining it before it could spread around the continent. He closed his eyes and his aura began to return to normal. Night and Lilis ware silently observing without hiding the confusion in their expressions.

It wasn't long before Arima sighed and his aura was totally dispersed. He looked around the room and clicked his tongue, he took a step and forward and stomped the floor. A wave of magic spread and the debris began to float and move. The wood was reforming itself as chairs and tables and the fissures on the ground were being forcefully closed.

He waved his hand and grabbed a chair that instantly reformed in mid-air, he then put it at the a table and sat on it. The room returned like it was before.

Karia looked in shock "(What control…)" She said in her mind

Lilis glanced at Night and the latter shrugged in ignorance. She looked at Arima and took a chair to sit beside him "So? What happened?" She asked

Arima sighed "Sorry, lost control for a bit" He said and paused "I want to ask you, that Seed of Chaos, can it work in a world without magic-circuits?" He asked

"Yes and no. To be exact, a world without magic-circuits is not a world that can't accept magic but a world that can't produce magic. Basically, it can't provide mana or change the human body. But a magical-being that goes into that world can keep using magic with the mana they have in their body, but after using it all, they'll never get it back" She explained to him "That's the same thing for the Seed, it can work in a non-magical world but only temporarily"

Arima stayed silent for a moment, so did everyone else in the room, they felt like if Arima couldn't talk, they shouldn't even have to right to say something, it was an extremely strange feeling.

"That G.o.d, where is Karaskan now?" He asked with a suppressed anger

Lilis glanced at him "Still in Heaven. Like I said, Heaven is infinite, it's almost impossible to find someone who wants to hide. He could have gone far in the world or even discovered things that the High G.o.ds don't know about" She said

Arima's eyes flashed with a cold light "I see, then I just have to go there" He said and looked towards Karia "Sorry that you had to a.s.sist to this, that was unexpected, I will take care of the Seed quickly" He said

"It's fine" Karia nodded and said. On the other side Lanya was still looking at Arima with strange eyes, with the time she spent with him, she had already made an image of him in her mind. Strong, kind, calm and also childish at times. But seeing him burst out in such anger, his expression distorted and his eyes expressing more coldness that she ever imagined, she felt her image of him fissure. She looked at Arima with fear and worry. Fear from what? She didn't know. Worry for what? She didn't know either.

Night glanced at her and then placed his attention on Arima. He shook his head and sighed. He knew Arima carried something like that, he was just surprised to see him releasing it like that, even more when it was because of a G.o.d's name.

Arima pointed his palm towards Karia and the latter tensed "[Ubi est anima mea?] (Where is the soul?)" Arima began to chant and Karia trembled

"[Non quia a Deo venisti?] (Does it come from G.o.d?)"

"[Nemo, homines nati sunt ab eo] (No, humans are not born from him)"

"[Id a parentibus?] (Does it come from your parents?)"

"[Non, quod homines non habent potestatem] (No, humans don't have that power)"

"[Inde ubi quis] (Then from who and where)"

"[Ne reveles scriptor] (Let's discover)"

Arima's eyes glowed in a strange light, the pattern in his pupil it started shining and spinning. A blue light appeared on Karia's chest and it grew brighter until it shrouded all of her body. That blue glow formed a strange gate that appeared in front of Arima. Karia had her eyes empty, like she was unconscious.

"I have to admit it, I'm impressed by your magic theory" Lilis commented

"Thanks" Arima said and smiled "By the way, every Seed possess an individual ego, right?" He asked her

Lilis tilted her head "Yes, but how do you know-" Lilis stopped, she suddenly understood something she already should have when Arima asked her about non-circuits worlds. She fell silent and Arima smiled to her.

"Well, let's go, I always wanted to see you again, you b.a.s.t.a.r.d" Arima looked at the gate in front of him, his smile became wider and transformed into a chilly grin.

"Want me to come?" Night asked

"No, I want to go there alone" Arima answered, Night nodded and closed his eyes like he wasn't surprised at all. Lanya didn't say anything.

Arima looked at the gate in front of him and it opened, what was behind looked like a vortex. He walked in and disappeared.

In an unknown place, the trees were red and blue, the earth was gray and the sky had two orange suns. In the middle of a forest, miles underground. A figure opened its eyes, white eyes, they looked very sharp and cold, and they were extremely clear and focused.

"Someone just entered in contact with one of my Seeds" His voice resounded, it sounded very ethereal and old "The problem is…" The figure moved a bit "Only Life Hunters can have that kind of soul" He said and began to laugh "Maybe something interesting will happen really soon" He nodded underground "That person seems to have endless hate against me, I wonder why?" He said and started pondering "I don't remember offending a Life Hunter, the last time I met one was around two hundred thousand years ago"

"Well" The figure closed his eyes one more time "Maybe the time where I will come out is near"

He was indeed Karaskan.

Arima observed his surroundings, he was in the middle of a sea with clear water, the sky was perfectly clear and light blue. He looked down at his feet and saw he was walking on water without using any magic.

"So, that's the manifestation of a soul, this kind of pure environment, as expected of an elf" He said "But…" He paused and his eyes fell on an island that was miles away from his position. He could see a dark aura polluting the whole island.

His eyes became cold and he transformed into a black flash that flew directly to that island. Arima used 'Zeus' and directly broke through the sound barrier, the sonic boom created a depression on the water and the sea split in two on the path Arima took.

He arrived at the island and landed heavily on it, creating a crater. Arima slowly walked out of the crater with lightning spreading around him.

"Get out!" He shouted in a voice amplified by magic, his shout alone broke numerous trees and rocks around him.

At his shout, the dark aura covering the island started converging into one point in the sky. Arima raised his head to look at it. The dark aura slowly condensed into a dense black smoke which also started condensing into something else. The final result was a creepy black slime that kept moving strangely and bulging at some places.

The slime suddenly formed some eyes and looked at Arima from the sky. The slime moved awkwardly before starting to fall from the sky. It took it a few seconds to finally crash just in front of Arima.

Now that he was this close, Arima could accurately judge that thing, if it was measured like a sphere, it would be around five meters in diameter.

After landing, the slime kept changing form, its body started looking like a humanoid one. But the legs were bended, a pair of wings appeared on its back and the head grew some horns. In the end, a huge black gargoyle was left standing there. Its strange sharp silver eyes stared an Arima.

The two kept staring at each other "Why do you seem to know me, Life Hunter? And why do you hold that much hatred towards me?" Until the gargoyle asked with a voice that sounded like Karaskan's.

Arima's expression twitched when he talked and his expression became colder "You may not know me, but I remember that voice perfectly. It had been exactly 120 years since last time I heard that voice, but I'll never forget it" He said

The gargoyle tilted his head and made a strange sound "My voice… are you maybe someone who met another Seed? But, it shouldn't be, there's only me in this world and your power is not enough to travel between worlds" He said "But you're still a Life hunter, maybe you have your ways" The Seed brushed it off "So what do you want from me, Hunter?" The Seed asked

"Well" Arima called Karma "To destroy you of course" Arima gripped his katana "First, I want your life force, two, I need to kill you to be able to get rid of this anger. Having it going wild like that is not to my liking, three, I want your memories" Arima said and unsheathed Karma "[Primum, Secundum, Tertium, Gaudete] (First, Second, Third, Break)"

Arima directly released the three seals and Karma's aura spread. Arima strongly waved Karma against the gargoyle. The wave produced cut the latter in two and everything behind him was razed from the surface of the island.

"…That's a transcendental weapon. A sword that went to a higher level than a cla.s.sic soul weapon" The upper body of the gargoyle said while floating in the air. The legs moved alone and jumped to reunite with the torso "Mm, looks like I won't survive this fight if I attack you head on" It commented with an emotionless voice.

The gargoyle flapped his wings and flew higher and its eyes glowed with a bright silver light. The island did the same and transformed into a giant silver slime that tried to trap Arima.

The latter gathered his lightning on Karma, he then added fire at the same time "[Forta.s.se Aeterna Noctem] (Flamboyant Eternal Night)" He chanted and swung Karma towards the ground after jumping once.

A huge black wave made of fire and lightning struck the ground and exploded with the roar of thunder. The whole silver island became totally consumed by a black sphere. When the sphere vanished, the island had disappeared. And the water fell to fill the huge depression.

From above, the gargoyle watched the scene unfold "That's impressive, to create a magic this destructive so quickly" He praised and turned his head to look behind him.

Arima was standing there with sparks at his feet. He pointed Karma at the gargoyle and smirked "Now, let's go, I want to destroy you completely"
