Life Hunter 104 "Congratulations"

When the sisters realized Arima was going to take back control on the fight, they decided to try everything in a single attack. They both gathered their mana. At some point, Arima felt a huge weight on him and he had to land to withstand it "(That's not gravity. It's atmospheric pressure)" He said in his mind and glanced at Lena.

And above him, Ofia was already ready to shoot an arrow. But the latter was not ba.n.a.l, Ofia compressed as much light as she could in it and it radiated with a strong shine that illuminated the sky.

Arima's 'sigil' revolved and the fireball in the sky split into many smaller parts that all attacked her at the same time. But Lena did her best and made a windshield to protect her sister. She started to sweat and her appearance was threatening to return back to normal.

It was the same for Ofia, her composure wasn't that good, the arrow she had placed on her bow had already been more compressed than her limits should have allowed.

Arima smiled and took out Superbia, he judged that it was improbable to escape that arrow in time. As he was filling his rifle with lightning and plasma, he also continued to make thunder roar and attack the girls' defense. Arima was, in the end, sent flying away and a few of his bones broke. Ultimately, those girls had injured him. Although he healed the bones in a second. And that if he didn't restrain himself, the girls would have most likely failed to even touch him without hurting themselves.

"Well, I know it's a bit conceited of my part, but congratulations in injuring me" Arima declared and Ofia started laughing, even her sister who was so usually quiet started laughing. The eagle she had for soul beast landed on her shoulder and snickered.

Arima clapped his hands and the two princesses felt a warm feeling in their whole body. They then realized they had recovered every bit of mana they had lost along with their physical and mental strength.

They had never seen such an effective healing magic "You can be proud, you'll surely never lose against someone of the tenth level and below if you are together. You're the best pair for the tournament" Arima smiled and said "You two can rest now, you'll continue tomorrow"

Ofia and Lena enthusiastically took the offer and Arima transferred them back at the FDA. When the other students saw Arima coming back in midair to oversee them and the two sisters leaving, they felt extremely motivated.

Lanya smiled wryly as she knew that now, Ofia and Lena were as strong as her if they were together. She became even more eager to learn the method to raise her level that Arima had told her about before.

At the end of the day, Lanya went to Arima and asked him about it. The latter just smiled "Don't be hasty, it would be a bit unfair against that woman if you fought her in the earthen realm" He said and then thought of something "I know. If you can't wait, give me your rapier"

Lanya complied and gave the soul link she had with her rapier to Arima. The latter retrieved it and smiled "I'll give it back to you tomorrow" He said and waved his hand. Lanya reappeared in the cla.s.sroom and Arima went into a time dimension.

Afterward, he got Karma's help and hammered the rapier with her. He also melted the blade and changes the structure's form. He then used mithril and orichalc.u.m to create a strange system on it while reforming the blade.

After five hours or so of work, Arima finally added the last part. A trigger in the upper part of the handle.

The next day, Arima handed the rapier back and Lanya stared at her sword with a peculiar look. The blade was a bit larger and there was now a trigger on the handle. Two small rectangular tubes were fixed on each side of the blade. And when you injected mana in a small part above the handle, the blade would literally bend to the front and reveal a sh.e.l.l case.

"Here" Arima threw some special gauge sh.e.l.ls to Lanya "Keep them in your soul. I'm sure you can do it alone now" He said.

Lanya nodded and put bound them to her soul "Now, put one in the chamber" She took one of the sh.e.l.ls and put it inside the rapier before 'closing' it.

Arima nodded then looked around, he extended his hand and the soil around them started trembling, a few seconds after, a ma.s.sive boulder emerged from the ground and was placed there. Arima put his hand on it and directed his mana inside.

"Try to destroy it with the rapier, without using magic" He instructed.

Lanya nodded and gripped her weapon before planting in on the stone with a strong motion. The blade easily cut through and a huge part of the rock blasted. If it wasn't for Arima's reinforcement, it would have been, of course, completely destroyed.

Arima smirked "Press the trigger"

Lanya hesitated a bit before pressing the trigger of her new sword. The sh.e.l.l inside the chamber was stimulated and exploded. Then, from the two little tubes, numerous pellets came out with a strong detonation sound.

"Anyway, let's start for today" Arima declared and everyone started their training. For the next few days, that training stayed the same but changed after the fifth day.

The four students who were being taught personally were already stronger by at least half a level at that stage. Kine learned to use blood aura, under the strict routine of Night. And in the end, Night also gave her a drop of his blood, which raised the Blood Eater's level.

Airon was a tired both mentally and physically, his training consisted more of being used as a test subject to directly feel the effects of darkness magic. But thanks to Chulainn, he was certainly stronger with dark magic now.

Balan had successfully learned the fifth arts of the White and Destruction categories and Melody also tried her best to learn the second destruction art but only managed to reach a basic level with it.

Ofia and Lena continued to work on their soul connection every day and improved the efficiency and manspirit consumption. And finally, there were the last four groups of ten. Arima stayed with them a bit more time than everyone else and helped them create a telepathic link and master the fifth white art.
