[1] This is not the same Lu as in Lu ChangQing. They are both p.r.o.nounced the same but the Lu used here is 路 as in road while the one in Lu ChangQing is 陆 which means land.

[2] The actual phrase he used was a snippet from the book 《济公全传》section 176  from the Qing Dynasty. The snippet means 'disaster is unavoidable', but the whole thing means 'Misfortunes and blessings depend on each other and can transform each other. Comparing bad things can lead to good results, and good things can lead to bad results.'

[3] It's called 入魔. It's a period of time where people that can happen due to a buildup of negative emotions or when leveling. Sometimes also when someone from the normal cultivating route succ.u.mbs to their inner demons and falls to demonic cultivation.
