The red circle whirling in the air above and split them, creating a crack. Soon after, the air completely turned red and a spiraling force big enough in size for Rakuri to come in appeared.

After the red whirling air turned dark blue, she walked in.

Arriving back to Bakuyo's home. She went to look outside for her pair because she couldn't find her anywhere inside.

Rakuri hasn't returned home is because of the grinding she did, and she kept doing many more quests after those wolves extermination.

Siola too... has not yet to come back.

Going out of the house, and go to the back. She finally found her pair there.

Intertwining her tongue with Bakuyo right in the open. Rakuri was baffled and kept staring at them with a blank face, 'Since when did they get so close?'

Nibbling on her neck, she then continues to exchange saliva with her.

She was about to go and check, but when she shifted her eyes to Bakuyo, who is gazing at her with puppy eyes that is afraid of her leaving. Kurira chuckled at it and let her continue.

'Ah well, I'll deal with that idiot later.'

Rakuri took a large pouch out of her inventory and gently put it down on the table. It's a bag full of money. Several gold coins and a lot of silvers. Afterward, she left the house and went to the portal to continue her journey again.

The portal leads up to a cave near the Center Capital, it is a very desolated location, one would not come by and visit so often.

She pulls out her grimoire again and undo the spell.

Soon, she set out to the Center Capital. Walking towards it, she pondered in her own mind amidst the crowd. 'Hmm… so packed in here.'

'Ahh, right. I heard large guilds are recruiting, can't believe that alone shook the entire community like this.'

'Hmm… I wonder what should I do right now. I had fun grinding, but it's really boring to do it alone. Though, because of that, I have a lot of gold in hand. I wished I could find more quests that reward the same, but in F-rank, there is almost none.'

There are more that comes along with it, including a Common Dungeon Key, a badge of E-Rank, and 10 lockpicks.

The system for a rank up in Center Capital is unknown, even if one were to finish the same way as the other, they won't rank up at the same time. People a.s.sumed that it's judged by the performance, while most of it is true, sometimes it's not.

There is also a leaderboard being put all around the center capital for the best performing members, a trending basically. And there are also a different leaderboard for the amount of contribution people did and also there is an additional menu inside the Center Capital menu screen that listed all of its members.

Only names that chosen to be displayed are visible to the others, and Rakuri does not hide her visibility. Fame or anything like that does not matter to her.

'Welp, go back to grinding then.'

"Um, excuse me."

Her eyes shifted to the party that is approaching her, it was that knight and his party from a week ago. "You again?"

"Ahh, yes. I'm glad you remember us. I won't waste much of your time. We'd like to ask for your help."

"Help?" squinting her eyes, "What kind?"

"Yes, we noticed that you have ranked up. I take it you're good at this game, so we want to ask you again to join us. I mean, temporarily of course, would you like to hear us out?"

"Hmm…" thinking, 'Guess there's no harm in it.' she then said, "Sure."

The knight and the others' eyes light up, "Then, let's go to the canteen. We can talk there."

Rakuri nodded.

They went to the canteen and the knight treats her to some of the best meals that they have, and true to its hype... it tastes really good in her mouth. She's been holding off on buying unnecessary things, but to be treated a meal once in a while is not as bad as she thought it would.

"I'm called Suburbian Fortress, that cute a.s.sa.s.sin cat girl is Kucing-in-disguise and that priest lizard over there, his name is Baldheaded Grandma."

Rakuri burst out the milkshake she got on her hand, trying to hold off her laughter. Even his own teammates are holding off their laughter and the lizard is just staring at them with a blank face.

"Come on, Bian. It's not funny" he said.

When their reaction is like that, it really is not funny for sure, yep, 100%. "Gehehe, sorry dude. Anyway, back on the topic."

Sternly fix his posture, he turned to Rakuri, "So, there is this dungeon we want to raid. It has something Kucing wants and needed so badly. We'll even pay you and you can choose the items you want first, how about it?"

"Hmm…" thinking, 'Just what kind of an item is that.' Rakuri then responded, "I suppose I don't need to question why you want me, but I have to ask why do you need me?"

He paused for a moment and formed a hardened face, almost… nervous. "The dungeon we're going to raid is called Cracking Husk Dungeon. And all three of us are less than level 50."

"But I'm also less than 50?"

"Yes, but we figured that you were... um, judging from your equipment. No offense of course. But, since you were climbing the rank pretty fast, we thought that we want to invite you with us. And err, it's just an a.s.sumption, but… are you a smurf?"

"8 Golds?" Fortress's eyes widened. Rakuri thought for a moment, 'Was it too much?' but then he responded, "Is that all? Are you sure?"

Sighing a sigh of relief in her mind, she responded, "Yeah, I don't need much."

The party gleaming in bright and glimmering eyes. They agreed to it right away. Now that the deal is done, Rakuri joined their party and set out to Cracking Husk Dungeon.

Pa.s.sing through many landscapes, they arrived finally to a river. It is a place where they could find the dungeon. Following down the rocky surfaces, there is a cave inside the waterfall.

"This is it, huh," said Kucing.

"Yeah, where we got our a.s.s kicked." Responded Fortress.

They walked in right away and the lizard, Baldheaded Grandma uses his ability [Candlelight] to light up the surrounding area. It is not by much, but they can see further using it than normal torches.

"This place is crawling with those giant spiders. We should watch out for the ceiling, something might come down from above" said Fortress.

The ground is damp and watery, the atmosphere is cold.

Rakuri pulls out her daggers.

"Hm? Wait, you're an a.s.sa.s.sin too?"

"No."

"Oh…"

"…"

It was silence for a moment, Rakuri shifting her eyes left and right, wary of the surrounding area. Fortress is a tank, and he's been positioned to the front. The a.s.sa.s.sin is right beside him, the priest is beside Rakuri.

Kucing asked, "Have you been here before, err…"

Indicating that she hasn't catch her name, Rakuri went and said her own name, "Rakuri."

"Right, Rakuri-san."

"Yeah, it's my go-to dungeon to farm. Many good pieces are laying around here. By that, I mean after everything ends."

The party's mood soon lights up. They wouldn't believe it if it's coming out from another person's mouth, but they believe her. Rakuri said it in a way that is very rea.s.suring and it felt like it came from a real experienced person.

A dungeon has three layers, and at each layer there exist at least 4 mini-bosses.

"This place isn't so hard to beat, but the annoying part is the backtracking... well, that's just my opinion, I hate it that you have to walk back again. But anyway, the pathway is simple and linear, but the mini-bosses are far in between."

"Err, mini-boss? Do we have to fight them too?"

"What, you didn't?"

Fortress shook his head, "It's more like we don't have a chance to fight them."

"Welp, if you don't kill them first, the boss will be harder to beat. Those mini bosses will join at the later stage of the fight, so we have to kill them first before proceeding to the main boss."

"Err, okay. Can we really kill them though? How many are they?"

"About… 8. Two in this layer, and the other 6 in the second layer."

Hushing in screeching voice, they can hear a mild subtle sound that brings terror to their hearts. "Oh G.o.d, I don't want to die again. Bian, you better watch your front!" yelled Baldheaded Grandma.

"Leave this to me," said Rakuri, "Suburbian, you'll march with me and keep using [Cutting Edge], and please don't miss, at least you should get their feet."

Fortress nodded, "Mm."

"Kucing will a.s.sist us on the side whilst protecting Grandma, and you, since it seems you don't have [Magelight], just move around and light up the area. Try not to get hit."

Rakuri shifted her eyes to the front, she opened her palm wide and flames start whirling them around. Bashing them together, she created a ball of fire in her hands and then smash it to the ground.

*Bwoooooooomph*

It is a mere flash, but the flames spread across the entire area, lighting them up and revealing the nasty spiders that are crawling around. There are many of them, it is easy to count that there are at least 30 of them.

The s.p.a.ce is wide and there are only a few foxholes in the area.

"Welp, watch your steps."

Raising her foot high, she stomped the ground hard, creating an earthquake.

The party's eyes quickly lose their footings, but they recover pretty easily, "Holy s.h.i.t, what the h.e.l.l was that?!!" screamed Fortress.

"Let's go!"

Rakuri propelled to the front straight to the darkness in sight, but the spiders are easy to spot.

���Eh, wait what?"

Fortress was baffled and unprepared. Kucing yelled, "Bian-san, Rakuri already gone."

"Ahhh!!"

He quickly went to join her.

'Spiders… heh, this has never been any easier.'

She coated her dagger with fire from [Flame Creation] and went to slice the spiders apart. Fortress follows behind her and tried to finish off the spiders who survived her attacks.

She stabbed it into its head and repeatedly slice its eyes again, she went around and mounted the spider and then pierce the back of its head with her dagger.

Rakuri is not struggling at all, and Fortress is trying really hard to catch up to her speed. However, the other two members are the ones that are struggling in the fight with the many spiders that are on their surroundings.

The said spider opened its mouth and fires off multiple webs and Grandma got hit by it, he can't move his feet around, but his body can't.

"Geh, holy s.h.i.t! I'm stuck!!"

The base priest skills only have the support-type ability on them, so he can't get out of it. And he doesn't have any other spells.

Kucing tries to help him by cutting off the web, but it's hard and takes too long. Her hair suddenly went up as the spider jumping at her. She screamed, "Fade!"

*Fwoosh*

The a.s.sa.s.sin used her skill to disappear out of trace.

[Fade] Allows you to be invisible for a short period of time, in addition, you will gain a slight boost to movement speed the second this skill activated.

The spider hits nothing, but it got another prey close to it instead. However, Kucing won't let that happened. She reappeared behind the spider and stabbed it on its head. The spider is still alive, and she went slice it again and again.

*Blash*

Her hand suddenly got webbed from another spider coming at her.

Three more are coming from behind it, and there are many more coming from every other direction. She starts sweating. "Guh, just leave me! Join the others!" yelled Grandma.

*Stab*

Piercing the spider's head, she yelled, "I can't leave you here, we're only just started!"

"It's okay, once I ressed, I'll go back here."

Kucing's face hardened, as her cat ears move, she realized that she won't make it, and the skill [Fade] is on cooldown for another 30 seconds. [Shroud] is still available, it is the same as Fade, but if she uses that, she won't be able to activate [Fade] again for another 100 seconds.

What Grandma said was right, she has to go before it's too late.

But then…

*Bwoooomph*

A blast of flames emerges from around them, creating a trail of fires all around. "Kriiiiieeeeeeeeeeh"

As the screeching sound stopped, the spider could not pa.s.s the flames, they know it's their weakness. They turned around and saw Rakuri heading their way, fully cloaked in flames. Kucing's eyes widened in shock, "That's… tier 4 spell, [Immolation] ! How? Didn't she say she's not even level 50 yet?"

"Gah, you stupid cat. Stop that cringy a.s.s s.h.i.t. Just go a.s.sist them already!"

Rakuri of course did not forget about them. The cloaked flame in her hand, she throws it away and it hits directly at Grandma's body. "Gyaaaaaaaah!" he felt the burning of the flame to be painful and it spreads out... right to his tail.

When he got freed, he rolled around on the ground while casting his healing spell. Gesturing as he talks, "Gaaaaaaah dammit, that f.u.c.king hurts, dude. I was this close to be turned into a steak!"

"Hey, friendly fire is active, be careful," said Fortress.

"Heh, my bad."

As the spiders coming at them, someone else is coming on her behind. It is Kucing, she leaped onward and then thrust her daggers to one of the spiders. Rakuri boosted her speed once more and sweep through the spiders in style. Fortress soon joins them and they are wrapping up the battles with them as the victor.
