On an open field of desolated lush forest, in a certain cave of an unknown plain.

Shrouded in darkness, it reveals no light. The cave have only a one-way path towards the outside, and inside of its sphere-like s.p.a.ce, there is a drawing encircling on the ground.

It is none other than the Seal of Magi. With the use of Mana, one could create such a seal to invoke numerous kinds of magical spells. Legend has it that, there exist… a human, without special powers and magical items, could manage to use all 8 types of base Magical Properties. Flames, Water, Earth, Wind, and the counterparts of it, the Thunder, Ice, Lava, Aero.

Thin cold water dripping from the ceiling as the Seal of Magi, glowing ever so brightly. It's light, strongly pierced through the darkness inside.

Emerging from the ashes, a jet-black figure menacingly appears out of the Seal.

A black short wavy hair, innocently sharp brown eyes with an annoyance exists just underneath them. following down from her thin lips, a seductive long neck, she has no a.s.sets.

Behind that slender figure, exist many scars… both the outside and the inside. However, the wounds she have on the inside are no longer much of a hurdle now that she has become what she did not expect to become, and it happened a long time ago.

Slowly, she opened her eyes and was greeted by multiple of unexplainable "screen" of [Notification], repeatedly popping up at the upper left corner of her visions.

*Fwoosh*

A flow of air burst out right in front of her, and coming out of it, is a dagger. Jaggy edged blade with a black wrapping of dark clothed leather on its handle.

Opening her dead eyes, the girl went limp and then fell onto the ground. Blood flowing out of her mouth as she tries to move, and her eyes starts blinking rapidly as she mustered up the strength to lift her arm from the ashes of the ground.

The girl coughs out blood, spraying them all out in front of her.

She let out a lot more of it, and with each of her cough, it feels as if the ground is slowly being flooded in a red sea.

Her thick dark red liquid, along with the crystal-clear water and the ashen colored sand, they are now mixed in together, creating a truly horrifying sight for a minor to see.

As she stopped flooding the ground, a crack of grin formed on her pale white lips. Muttering in a husky voice, "Hah… Tcehehe… Realistic indeed," she said.

Reaching out her arm, she grabbed the dagger from the ground and then lifted her body up. And Looking down on the red sea, she saw a reflection of herself.

Concentrating her sight onto it, a [Screen] suddenly appeared at the right corner of her vision. "Hmm… now that I think about it. The status is quite clunky, hopefully somebody notice this and report it. My eyes starting to hurt seeing all these menus, at least put a tutorial or something" she then navigated into it and then enlarging its content to the center of her sight.

She noticed something odd in that [Status Screen] of hers. "Purgatory? What the h.e.l.l is that, I thought I joined the Abyss. Hmm…" after a moment paused, she shook her head and thought, 'No, it's not the time to think about that. Maybe their real faction is that and not the Abyss. Doesn't matter. Either way, I got a religion, so everything now should go a tad bit smoother.'

Luosa expected that the status of the [Religion] would appear as the [Abyss] because… many "terms" she encountered are leading to that expectation, like the [Slave Necklace of the Abyss] for example, it has the term of Abyss in its name, and sometimes when an item has that, it belongs to that group, their faction… or religion.

She then focused on the Ability section, and stares at her skill intensely. "Now, what is the incantation for this thing"

[Wind Creation] ~ Dei Aeris madjun wil (Translate: The Air is under my will)

Description: Create Air to manifest a form of the formless Wind.

Effect: Cloak the equipment with many varieties of Spell Enchantment of the Wind.

"Heh, I can guess the Developer was drunk when making this, where and what language did they pull out that incantation from."

Sluggishly, she fixes her posture as she stands up and wields the dagger to her left hand. The blood on her mouth coated her teeth in red. As she's wiping the blood, she mumbled, "It's impossible for me to do the kill list right now, that should be obvious…" after a moment paused, she realized something, "Hm? Wait a minute…"

The girl, Luosa looked around, shifting her eyes left and right. She looks behind her, tilting her head, she turned it around, "Where the h.e.l.l am I?"

It seems she didn't realize it until now. Sometimes when she focused on something, Luosa tends to completely ignore her sense of surroundings.

Her eyes narrowed down to a slit, "Judging from where I log in, where my house was, I should've sp.a.w.ned in the Park of the Lost, at the center of Sonata Kingdom. But, hmm… this is weird. Did something go wrong, or did Ludwig really did want to send me here?"

She closed her eyes to collect her thoughts; Sonata Kingdom is one of the most coveted areas in her past life. Densely filled with many Quest and Activities, a large number of players would even stand in line for a queue to access the Kingdom.

After a click of the tongue, she couldn't come up with anything. Luosa then navigated through the Screen [Messages] in her head.

"Hmm… a Predetermined path? All right, sure. But 2/10 score, huh… that's bad, the bonus and rewards are plenty strong and useful, what a waste."

Looking down a bit further, her eyes lit up. "Oh, I can log out now? That's great, and here I thought I wouldn't be able to get out of this game, like that one stupid a.s.s shows from j.a.pan. Hmm… I forgot what it was called, but the guy was insanely op and quickly surpa.s.s everyone."

Indeed, I also hope that this series will not go onto that direction, just imagine the cringe. I wish you could hear me, Siola. Our creator tends to be so easily influenced by this, so we need to be careful and keep reminding him.

The edges of her eyes grew wider as many bling and special effects gathered throughout her surrounding, celebrating her victory.

Some people that was yelling went to her. However, they are not coming to scold her or anything, but they brought with them a medallion alongside a large cup of trophy, and credit money. They put them all on the ground right in front of her respectfully. She once thought, (Hehehe, look at them… Pathetic.)

Luosa's eyes widened as she gasped, "Goodness, why I remember that one, now of all times!" nervously playing with her fingers, "T-That was an accident, I didn't mean to do that. I'm totally not treating them differently from me, yeah, it's not like I treat them like, err, well, I was just nervous. Goodness, who the h.e.l.l am I explaining it to. Besides, it's her fault for running into my [Death Grasp]. I was hoping they wouldn't think of me as criminal, well they didn't but… everyone in the league avoided me after that match."

Luosa gritted her teeth in annoyance while munching her clothes, "Nghrr, that was supposed to be my debut as a newcomer, not only the deal went south, that b.i.t.c.h took the credits and played the victim!" spitting her saliva, "Tch, pro my a.s.s. A dripping sound of water keep echoing under her ears, Luosa closed her eyes as she starts to organize her thoughts, calming herself down. "Dammit, I could've gone to the Capital then, and none of these would've happened."

She then remembers the look of a certain woman, it was her spouse, her expression tells one thing… disappointment. Luosa shook her head rapidly, "No, no, no!"

"G.o.dd.a.m.n it, get over it, Siola. We've already pa.s.sed that…" puffing her cheeks, "Mrrmmph" she thought, 'I supposed my progress was slow, but it's effectively because of that, I could win the game. Training every single day, learning every tricks and combo, creating my own way, exploring even deeper depth to all I have, making full use of everything I got, and with that, I found myself… a recipe for success.'

"Still… there are many others that have far surpa.s.sed me, well, not necessarily surpa.s.sed per se, but the old veterans of the game still retain their spots, and I was only scratching the surface of the true domain of the professionals" she chuckled, "Hah, the new Top 1000 Player they said" she hears her friend laughing with tears in her eyes, (Bwahaha, don't worry, babe. A gentle smiled appeared on Luosa's face. She glanced at the light reflected by the water… it's lighting up the pathway toward the exit.

"Right… just 999 Players left to go." Luosa's heartbeat is racing so fast, she's marching toward the outside… with a bright smile on her face.

"Ekolia in Realism Mode… Heh, let's see what you got for me."
