“Well, we have a checkup tomorrow, so don't forget your gym suit.” (Kawabuchi)

Our homeroom teacher Kawabuchi tells us in cla.s.s one day.

 “Aww.” (Girls)

The main reason for the unhappy voices from the girls’ in the cla.s.s is that we are reminded of our weight.

Our height and weight is measured in the gym, the hearing and eye test is in the audiovisual room, and the medical examination is in the nurses office.

After 1st period, we go to the dressing room in the gym to change clothes.

[Nervous laugh] “I wonder if the internal examination is going to be done by a man this year?” (Chiaki)

I take the health examination form and hand it to the lady. When the plate comes down from the top, it hits my head and it stops.

She then fills the numbers in on the form.

“OK, you’re done.”

I look at the form she handed me. I weigh 37 (81½ lbs.) kg and I’m 146 cm (4’ 9½”) tall.

Wow, I'm too small.
