Chapter 8

Looking at the maple tree in the park, and listening to the breathing sounds of Yamazaki and Miwa-san, soothes my aching heart somehow. A gentle wind blows past, and a floating leaf landed in front of me..... I picked it up to notice that the maple leaf had already became slightly reddish.

"It's almost autumn already huh.... Around this timing last year, I was with my tou, kaa-san, and nee-chan here flying some kites......" I mumbled.

"Hiroto, then how about we fly some kites now!!" (TL: alright don't hit me, sobsob) Miwa-san upon hearing what I said, stood up pa.s.sionately and suggested.

"Yeah Hiroto, come on, let's fly some kites. (TL: wait wait, it's really what the text said!!) I heard this from an otaku pal before, when you write your wish onto the kite, then you let the kite go after flying it, your wish will be seen by the sora-kami (TL: sky-G.o.d) , and he will grant your wishes." Yamazaki exclaimed about with a flair of wisdom.

"Really? ? ? But we don't have any kites with us now." I became slightly excited upon hearing that and started asking.

"There's kites at my house, last time my relatives brought their kids over to play, and they insisted on playing with kites, but after I bought them, they started playing video games, and the kites now were untouched in my house, I'll go get them." I haven't had the chance to stop Miwa-san when she hurriedly ran off, leaving me speechless. Without any other option, me and Yamazaki had to continue waiting in the park for Miwa-san.

"I'm going to give some kites to Hiroto, ahhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm so excited, Hiroto's troubled expression just now also looked sooooooo cool too, ahhhhhhh I love Hiroto a lot~ ~ " Miwa exclaimed as she ran.

After ten minutes of boredom waiting for Miwa-san, me and Yamazaki sighted a flushed Miwa-san approaching, panting as she handed over three kites, a marker and a scissors.

(TL: Recall before in front of the book store that she mentioned that her house is wayyyyyyyyyy far from Hiroto's. You gotta respect that.)

The designs of the three kites respectively are two b.u.t.terflies with two different colors and a pig-ish looking kite.

"Miwa-san, I want that black b.u.t.terfly kite."

"No way, that is specially for Hiroto."

"Whaat, especially reserving it for Hiroto, then I'll have no choice but to take that white b.u.t.terfly kite then." Yamazaki said.

"No way too, that is mine, yours is this piggy-designed one." Miwa-san s.n.a.t.c.hed the white b.u.t.terfly kite from Yamazaki's hands and thrust-ed the piggy kite onto him.

"Ehh, you can't give me a kite based on how I look, right..." Yamazaki pouted.

"Ahahahahahahaha......" Seeing the melancholy face of Yamazaki triggered me to laugh raucously somehow.

"Hiroto, you laughed, when you laugh, you looked really handsome too..." Miwa-san started to praise me.

I stopped laughing- the sight of seeing my two friends in front of me playing around, made my depression of losing tou and kaa -san vanish; in short, I do feel rather blessed to have these two friends.

"Alright, alright, quit playing around and let's quickly write our wish onto the kites, to let him fulfill it." I said.

Yamazaki and Miwa-san then took a marker and wrote on their kites respectively , while I started to ponder about what wish I should make.

"Hiroto what are you doing, quickly write down your wish, we

Because the autumn wind is strong, Yamazaki and Miwa had already set their kites up in the skies easily without effort, but I'm still thinking over what kind of wish I should make..... after some deliberate thoughts, I wrote it down, then ran over to Yamazaki and Miwa-san's to set my kite up into the sky. Watching the kites flying ever so freely up in the sky, I couldn't help but to feel slightly envious.

The sun gradually set for the evening, and the three of us were sweaty from chasing our kites throughout the park.

"Right, then. Hiroto, at this part, we should cut our kite strings, to let the sora-kami fulfill our wishes." Yamazaki said.

"Sure." I took a scissors and cut off the string, followed by Yamazaki and Miwa-san; and watching the kite furthering away in the orange sky horizon, I felt slightly down, praying that my wish would come true.

Yamazaki's kite wrote: "I wish for Hiroto to stay strong even after losing his tou and kaa -san"

Miwa-san's kite wrote: "I wish that Hiroto would fall in love with me, and we will live happily ever after."

And my wish is....

"To find my missing nee-chan, and to work hard to make her live a happy life."

Miwa-san pa.s.sed me and Yamazaki some of the mineral water she bought from the eatery near the park.

"Thanks, Miwa-san." Sorting out my muddled feelings, I thanked Miwa-san.

"Hiroto you're too courteous.... don't need to call me -san, just call me Miwa will do." Miwa spat out her tongue cutely as she winked at me.

"Thanks, Miwa."

"Doo itashimas.h.i.te, we're good friends after all."

(TL: doo itashimas.h.i.te means: don't worry bout it.)

I twisted the bottle cap only to find that it was already loose.

I glanced at Miwa a perplexed expression, but then shook my head, just earlier we were together flying wish kites, but now I'm going to suspect a friend of mine, what a bast*rd I am.

I leaned back my head and drank the water hungrily, but because I drank too fast, some water leaked from the corner of my mouth, causing my collar to be wet.

"Hiroto, Tamazaki, I have something to do, tomorrow I'll help you to apply for leave, and let's go out to play together, remember to give me a call~~" After saying, Miwa hurriedly dashed off.

"Well Hiroto, let's go home."

"Mm."

5 minutes later.

"Ahhhhhhhh Hiroto drank my saliva, Hiroto drinking water looks so handsome aaaahhhh, if only I could finish Hiroto's wish, then Hiroto would surely love me toooooooo aaaahhhhh I'm so excited........ but I thought I saw Hiroto's kite fly over to this direction."

Miwa murmured to herself for a while, then searched the gra.s.sy area for a few minutes, but still is unable to find any trace of the kite.

"s.l.u.t, are you looking for this thing that I'm holding?" Suddenly, an extremely pretty lady appeared from the bushes, her hand clutching the kite that was previously Hiroto's.

"Quickly return me my thing."

"Your thing? But this kite clearly belongs to my ototo-kun, it even have his writing on it too."

"You are Hiroto's nee-san?"

"s.l.u.t, let me warn you, ototo-kun belongs to me, and only me, I forbid you to go near him, if not I'm going to kill you ~"

"Humph, I'm sorry but Hiroto is my prey too, he belongs to me and only me, even if you're his nee-san, I'll tear you apart into pieces ~"

Miwa glared at the extremely pretty lady standing in front of her, eye to eye contact without any trace of fear, and even after discovering that the other party is Hiroto's nee-san she still didn't relax, for every time that she mentioned Hiroto, that lady will also show the same eye expression as she did too.

"Very strong, this lady is just as dangerous as I am, chances of winning is about 50 per cent."

"s.l.u.t, you're appraising me aren't you, heh heh."

Just when the tension between the both of them nearly hit breaking-point, a sudden phone call broke the stalemate: It was Asaka's mobile phone, she picked it up and conversed for a short moment.

"s.l.u.t, I still have something important to do, this time I'll let you off first, but remember, do not go near my ototo-kun, if not then I won't end it with just killing you ~"

"Humph, only knows how to scare me?"

Asaka ignored Miwa, she grasped the kite and walked away.

"Aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, what is Hiroto's wish" After seeing Asaka walking away, Miwa knelt onto the floor and screamed.
