Zhang Yunyan was arrested by Wind-blown Monster and Turtle Demon to the Black Tiger Cave. She felt upset. She knew she had no ability to fight against the two monsters without souls and to break out the block and take Iron Egg out of the cave. She was anxious and desperate.
Time would not wait for people and it only left a little for her. Black Killer would come back soon, so she had to seize the time to find a way to escape from the horrible demon cave.
It was easy to talk about, but not easy to make a decision. However, where was the way out? What was the plan of escaping?
Yunyan had no way out and no plan to change her situation. The disaster was about to come.
At this moment, Iron Egg's words reminded her and she started to think of another way—found a way out inside of Black Tiger Cave.
Although Zhang Yunyan was lack of confidence, she finally came up with a new idea. She must try hard and hope to escape the demon cave with the poor kid.
She wiped the tears on Iron Egg's face and wore a bitter smile. "My good boy, you have reminded me. I should find a way out inside the cave."
Iron Egg regained hope in his mind and his fear was relieved.
Zhang Yunyan thought for a while and said, "Iron Egg, it's dangerous inside and might be some harmful things for people. You will get hurt by accident. Just stay here. When I find the way out, I will come back to you immediately."
Iron Egg was very scared to stay here alone and insisted to follow Zhang Yunyan. In this Black Tiger Cave full of monsters, she was the only one he could rely on.
Yunyan thought for a while, but still dared not take risks with Iron Egg and did not have enough hope to find a way out. She knew little about the demon cave and there might be plenty of unknown risks and disasters. It was better for her to bear them alone.
There was not much time left for Yunyan, so she could not delay any more. She had to take action right now and try hard to get out of the demon cave with the kid as soon as possible.
Zhang Yunyan no longer hesitated. No matter how many dangers in the Black Tiger Cave, she needed to take risks. It was your destiny to die or not. Even if she did not believe destiny, she could only be at the mercy of nature.
Yunyan took Iron Egg to a small hole that could only accommodate one person and moved a few large stones to block the hole. Then, she asked the kid to wait here silently.
In order to calm down Iron Egg and make sure that he would not run around, she had to do this and it was the last plan she could arrange.
Zhang Yunyan knew it was not a good place to hide and when Black Killer came back, he must search for the cave and the kid must die. Therefore, she had to take time to find a way to escape.
Iron Egg was hiding here and finally calmed down. She said some more words and left.
In the Black Tiger Cave, the large and small caves were twisted and stretched. They were connected with each other, which were like the mazes and made people confused.
The demon cave was gloomy and silent. The scaring atmosphere was daunting. It seemed that everywhere was full of killing intent and people would suddenly meet dangers and be killed.
Zhang Yunyan was walking while checking around. She dared not be careless.
She knew that it was Black Killer's territory which he had managed for many years. There might be quite a lot of traps. She did not know what kind of danger she would meet, so she had to keep alarmed all the time.
In the search, Yunyan warned herself that she should be more and more careful and could not be trapped again or even die, because she was not alone in the Black Tiger Cave.
She was not just looking for the way to live for herself, but also a more important little boy was waiting for her, Iron Egg. Saving the kid was an urgent task for her, arduous and heavy. She must rise up and work hard to complete it.
Outside the cave, there was a turmoil in the quiet forest, which made those who still had their souls scared. Those walking deaths were still digging their own graves, facing the coming dangers.
In the demon cave, it was horrible, gloomy, and quiet. It was suppressing and suffocated, hurting the tight nerves.
Zhang Yunyan was worried in her mind but her mind was determinate. She had to save that young life and complete this arduous and sacred mission.
However, the reality was too cruel and her life was in danger. It seemed that there was no hope for her to escape, so how could she dream about her destiny to complete the mission.
Yunyan also had a hint of fantasies, which was a kind of self-motivation and the driving force of struggle.
In this gloomy Black Tiger Cave, Yunyan might be the only one growing here and the only creature fighting for the destiny. She would not give up and fight to the last moment of her life. As for whether she could escape out, she could only follow heaven.
Zhang Yunyan had been wondering since she was young. Numerous misery and dangers had given her rich experiences and built her with a stubborn and unyielding nature. She had become a heroine who was brave enough to fight for death.
Even some males in the martial-arts circles could not match with her on characters and personalities.
The Black Tiger Cave was gloomy and silent. Zhang Yunyan walked alertly. She was listening carefully in case of sudden danger.
She hoped to find a way to escape. If a piece of hope showed up, the poor Iron Egg could escape from death.
The demon cave was winding and stretching to all the direction. It was very quiet.
Zhang Yunyan listened to the sound while walking. There seemed to have no sound and no sudden light. She was still in confusion.
She was anxious and a little bit disappointed. She was still trying to seeking for the hope to escape and prayed for finding the "there is a way out" chance.
Quiet, quiet everywhere, she did not know where the "birds' twitter and fragrance of flowers" place.
Gloomy, gloomy everywhere. She did not know where she could return to the sun-drenched paradise.
The horrible silence and the gloomy darkness heavily hit on the unyielding heroine's mind, but also provoked the courage and strength to struggle.
Zhang Yunyan was searching and had been searching all the time. In order to complete her mission, she was not stopping searching and hoped to bring the poor kid the hope of life.
Along the way, she did not hear any suspicious voices, nor any terrible dangers.
However, Yunyan found out something. Beside some holes, on the wall close to the ground, there were some shining lights.
Those lights were not large, which looked like an incomplete moon, gloomy but clear.
The "incomplete moons" by the holes were nearly the same at size and location. Each hole had a similar scene and no difference.
Although the appearance of these "incomplete moons" was plain, this could be called the difference, so she could not ignore them and conjectured them.
In this regard, Zhang Yunyan was suspicious, but did not figure out the reasons.
Why did those flashing "incomplete moons" show out by the holes, but some of the holes did not have the "moon"? Why the location of the "moons" were all nearly the same?
These flashing "incomplete moons" were small and inconspicuous, but very obvious in the darkness. It was not like a casual phenomenon, but should be intentionally made.
She thought about it for a while but could not figure out the reasons. It was likely to be a kind of mark. As for why there would be such kind of marks by those holes, it must have its reasons, but she could not know.
In order to understand the secrets, Zhang Yunyan had repeatedly entered the holes which were engraved with the marks of "incomplete moons".
There was no difference between it from the other holes. The wall was rough and uneven in the surface. The color of rock was also the same. Besides, there was nothing inside.
Yunyan was very puzzled. If these "incomplete moons" were a kind of marks, what they were foretelling? If those were made casually and represented nothing, why it chose to show up by some holes? Those flashing "incomplete moons" were nearly at the same size and location. Why?
Mystery, this was another difficult mystery. She could not figure out the answer.
