Incapable Dreams 4 The Inciden

I walked out of my dorm and was going to campus when I saw Emily in the middle of the hallway. I paused and stared back at her. " So, are you going to leave me alone or what?" I asked. She doesn't reply so I walked past her. "I told you, we have to talk." She said from behind. "About?" I asked. "About your life." She replied matter-of- factly.

I halted and turned to look at her. "Look, I don't know who you are and it'd be nice to not talk about my life and you leaving me alone, so please stop this nonsense." I said really annoyed. I started walking again and this time, she didn't say anything.

when I reached my cla.s.s, I was five minutes late. "You are late." The teacher said. "Yes I know sorry." I said sheepishly. The teacher sighed in disappointment. I took my seat. "Okay everyone, we will be practicing makeup on our peers today So find a partner and get started. There will be a format on how you are going to use each makeup product. You are going to do it on one person then tomorrow, its going to be your partners turn, understand?" The teacher explained.

"Yes Mrs. Diàs." The cla.s.s said in unison.

I found my friend, Martha and went over to her. "so, who's going first me or you?" I asked. "You." Martha replied " I tried a new look on myself and it was good. So I thought I would try it on someone else." She showed me selfies of herself with the makeup on.

"It is good." I said. Martha didn't even look at the format, and started putting makeup products on my face. It was going smoothly for like twenty minutes until Martha gasped. And then started wiping my face with eyeliner and lipstick. " What are you doing?!" I shouted.

The cla.s.s stared at us. Martha didn't reply and continued swiping makeup on my face. Then she stopped. She looked at me and walked out of the room.

The cla.s.s started laughing and pulled out there phones and took pictures of me. "Okay cla.s.s that's enough settle down!" Mrs. Diàs shouted. The cla.s.s quieted down, but kept staring at me. "Amelia, go wash your face please." Mrs. Diàs said looking at me.

I got up from my seat and walked out of my cla.s.s. But I wasn't going to the bathroom I was looking for Martha. And I saw her near the girls room.

"Martha?" I asked approaching her.

She turned around. "I- I-m so sorry. I don't know what happened I didn't even meant for that to happen. It was like someone was controlling me." She stammered.

I was confused. I mean, she did seem lost like she wasn't focused.

" Are you sure?" I asked. "Yes and I don't feel good I'm going to the infirmary." Martha said. "And you should wash your face."

She walked away and I was alone in the hall. I walked into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I looked awful.

I washed my face but stopped when I heard footsteps I turned around and saw Emily. She had a wicked grin on her face. "That was hilarious! You deserved it." She laughed.

I glared at her. "My pranked worked on you." She continued.

prank? What prank was she talking about. I had no idea.

Emily saw my confusion because she laughed and said, "Oh, your so naive Amelia! Don't you know?"

Know what? I thought. Then I recalled what Martha had said "It was like someone was controlling me."

"You! You did all of this didn't you?!" I yelped.

Emily rolled her eyes "Duh!" She said.

"B-But how...?" I asked. "Are you a witch or something?"

"If you let me explain, you will understand."

Emily said, now looking serious.

I sighed. I wanted to know everything. I mean what was going on? I had no idea.

I looked at Emily, and I knew I had to know the truth.
