I was baffled; hearing I was so high tier, ESPECIALLY considering the kind of person I was.
I was utterly confused, probably for the first time in my entire life.
[In your history of corruption, not all the individuals you harmed were innocent.]
I recalled when ORDER mentioned how emotion and intent didn't have anything to do with your karma; it was the actions that were judged.
As deranged as I was, I did my best to live with the world's social norms.
As tiring as it was, I tried to target more of the bad folk I happened upon. That didn't mean innocents were spared, however.
It made me think about who I could have damaged, to the extent that it would be considered "good."
[There were two primary individuals responsible for your positive karma. The first was {Soul} Alfred Capo. He possessed a large amount of negative karma that affected several states in America.]
I'd heard of him before; a lot of people had.
One of the largest names in criminal history. He was a major gang leader, drug lord, and business man that managed to evade authorities since nothing could be traced back to him in the legal system.
I'd heard of him…but never met him. That's the kind of person you'd never be able to forget.
"So how was he involved with me?"
[You corrupted his daughter into being a sociopathic, obsessive lover with a tendency to be violent in pursuit of your affections. This action brought you negative karma, but became negligible as a result of the effects that followed.]
"I've messed with a LOT of woman, ORDER . I don't-"
Realization hit me like a freight train at that moment.
"Oh, that's right…there was Connie." I said in surprise. "You mean, her?"
ORDER didn't answer back, but I knew what the silence meant.
Connie…
She had a screw loose, that woman…like me
That's probably why we were able to connect so well. I had a lot of flings in the past, but she was one of my favorites.
I remembered her because Kitty had been extremely jealous of our relationship at the time. Connie's the one who sparked my crime of adultery with her, in fact.
It's amazing what envy can do to a person.
Anyways…She was crazy, but the same could be said about her skills in bed. She was a freak from the first time I took her virginity. Highly experimental, daring, and a flexibility that would make a gymnast red in the face and envious beyond measure.
I'd read a lot of novels in the past: Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Wuxia, j.a.panese light novels; you pick a genre and I've read it. I didn't discriminate.
I believe she's what you'd call a real life yandere.
I never thought a woman like that could've existed beyond the pages of a book, but I was proven wrong.
Once she began to make a shrine for me like Helga from "Hey Arnold," I dipped. It started to stretch into territory that would not end well.
I know you shouldn't stick your d.i.c.k into crazy, but it was unbelievably fun.
I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

But really…
"To think she was the daughter of THE Al Capo…"
[{Soul} Alfred discovered your act of copulation after she was found pregnant.]
Dodged a bullet there, I suppose.
Literally and metaphorically.
I WAS curious, however, what our child would have become. That birth had "chaos" written all over it.
I wish I had the chance to develop them.
[In retaliation, he planned your a.s.sa.s.sination, but was mercilessly killed by his own daughter in an effort to preserve your life.]
You have my grat.i.tude, Connie.
[Because of your corruption, you saved several states from a menace that would have spread further and lived for eight more generations.]
"Go me, I guess?"
I didn't really care.
[The second was {Soul} Osa Binla.]
"Now THAT'S a name." I exclaimed. "What did I have to do with him?"
Osa Binla…
A world renowned terrorist, famous for initiating a nuclear launch into a third world country for experimental progress. He utterly decimated a population without care, and continued to perform other smaller scale attacks to other countries.
I found it to be a bit in poor taste.
From one insane to another, he could've done better.
I just find physical destruction too simple; it's just not my cup of tea. I'll indulge in it, but its never as fun as the complete character breakdown of an individual.
[You broke, mentally, one of his close confidants and convinced them they could be, and deserved, more; that he should take action. He complained at a bar to you about how he was unappreciated and felt frustrated at being called out for his short comings.]
"Who was this?"
It didn't ring a bell.
I genuinely had no idea. I affected more people than I could count, so I couldn't be bothered to remember every single person.
[It was [Soul] Khalid, whom you met at 'The Drum Inn'.]
It sounded familiar…
But I still couldn't remember too well. He must've been an easy target.
[You were not aware, but the boss {Soul} Khalid was referring to was one of the worlds most hated criminals. Dut to your words, {Soul} Khalid ended up betraying his leader and a.s.sa.s.sinated him.]
I became a hero without even trying? That required talent.
[Because of your actions, several major continents avoided nuclear bombings and fallout that would have scarred the earth.]
That sounded more than a little significant.
Nuclear war wasn't a joke, because the repercussions effected everyone.
"Even after essentially saving the world, my tier is still only 5 out of 9?"
That had me curious.
I wondered how the system determined karma, but the details would probably bore me.
[You still possessed an excessive c.u.mulation of negative karma that took away from the positive. While the world would be scarred, it would have adapted with time. It is presumptuous to say the world was saved.]
So, I technically didn't "save" the world, because it wasn't going to die or be destroyed in the first place.
Instead, it would be safer to say I prevented the world from being set back for thousands of years.
"So…what can I ask for?"
[There are many things you can trade your {Tiers} for, but please understand that reincarnation is a reset of the soul with added benefits.]
"A 'reset'," I repeated. "Meaning, I won't have my memories? Or personality?"
[Correct.]
That…didn't sound great.
Though I am a terrible person, I'd come to like the way I was. I couldn't imagine what it'd be like to be "normal."
It just seemed so…dull.
With all that acknowledged, my first draft pick became obvious.
