Chapter 18.2 - A Pretend Date

Luo Fei thought to himself, it is a date.

It’s best to bring some gifts to make a good impression on the other party as it’s the first time inviting them for dinner.

Without further explanation, he walked into a men’s clothing store and waved Emil over. “Cousin, please help me pick.”

Emil followed him in with an awkward expression.

One alpha needs another alpha to help buy a gift for another alpha?

This store sells high-end custom-made men’s clothing, and is very famous across the Empire. While expensive, their designs are relatively low-key, restrained, and not too exaggerated. “But I am his real alumni, you’re just a fake.” Emil looked conflicted.

Luo Fei said: “There will be no problem with Chongming… Cousin, you can have dinner alone at night. I will pay for you.”

“Oh,” Emil shrugged helplessly. “Okay.”

At dinner time, Emil went to the cafeteria to eat alone, while Luo Fei went to the door of Room 5017 and rang the doorbell.

After a while, a bodyguard appeared at the door, with a blank expression on his face. “What’s the matter?”

Luo Fei said politely, “I’m looking for Mo Han, I’m his senior.”

The bodyguard said, “Wait a moment.”

He obviously went into the room to ask Mo Han for instructions, and came out after a while, saying, “Please come in.”

Luo Fei touched his nose and followed the bodyguards into the room.

The size of this room is larger than the luxury suite that Luo Fei booked. There were several bodyguards standing in the room. When they saw him coming in, they immediately looked at Luo Fei in unison.

There was the sound of rustling water in the bathroom – Mo Han was clearly taking a bath.

After a while, the sound of water stopped. When he saw Mo Han come out of the bathroom, Luo Fei’s eyes lit up—

Wearing a white bathrobe, Mo Han had just taken a shower, and his skin was still full of moisture. Under the light, his fair and smooth skin seemed to be covered with a layer of soft water. Wet hair hung by his ears, black as ink, making his earlobes even whiter. A few droplets of water slid down the slender neck, disappearing into the chest covered.

Luo Fei swallowed his saliva. This scene made his heart move so much. He wished he could go over and hug and kiss him.

However, due to the presence of the bodyguards, Luo Fei did not dare to act rashly, lest he be caught and beaten.

Mo Han glanced at Luo Fei indifferently, and asked while wiping his hair. “Senior came so early? Fifteen minutes earlier than the agreed six o’clock.”

Luo Fei stood up and said with a gentlemanly smile, “I want to come here early and wait for you.”

Mo Han said, “Then wait a moment, I’ll go change my clothes.”

He went to the change room to change his clothes, dry his hair, and then told the bodyguards: “Jonah, Josh, follow me. The rest of you, stay here.”

The two men immediately bowed and said, “Yes, young master.”

These bodyguards should be Mo Han’s loyal guardians, and will sacrifice themselves to protect Mo Han’s safety at critical moments. They’re all betas, obviously professionally trained, burly and muscular, with miniature pistols in their back pockets. As long as someone dares to approach Mo Han with bad intentions, these people will definitely blow the opponent’s head in an instant.
